Loved this episode. So much confirmation and mirrors my own story. God used a Facebook group to connect me to my future husband in Georgia and I am in NC. We will enter the covenant of marriage next month (September 2021). I am 51 and he is 48…God is good!

Isiah and Kelli's stories combined sounds like my autobiography. I got married at 21yo and I experienced the things they experienced. I'm looking forward to the happy ending they have as well. Waiting on God is sooooooo important and powerful. My eyes got watery, because man it’s within the waiting that God does heart surgery, he removes all of what isn’t supposed to be there. Those are facts! Us as women are naturally born nurtures. And we like to heal people but not knowing God is the only who can heal properly. No matter how much we see potential in a man. It won’t work if That man isn’t in the process of working on himself spiritually, emotionally & mentally. They will literally suck all your energy out of you. I needed this video. I had lost faith and hope that God would send me my Kingdom Spouse and I made a decision out of fear. I teared up so many times through out this video. Kelli’s journey resonated so deeply, though I’ve never been married I have had my heart shattered to pieces. Here I go again crying at your Dear Wifey podcast. I love this couple. They were just your natural everyday people. It is not easy being divorced, and now at a point ready to meet your purpose partner. Having to come back out and date in 2021 is some what overwhelming lol. Therefore, I am holding tight, getting out and doing things I love to do. In the mist of my life, I have been praying that I meet my purpose partner very soon. It is a blessing to live life and even more of a blessing to have someone to share life with. Until then live life to the fullest now and always.

Hi! Thanks so much for tuning in! I definitely understand your concern and wanted to shed a little light :) there was infidelity in his previous marriage all of which he told me about when we met. By the time he met me, they had not been together in over a year. He had repented, received counseling and fully embraced his sonship through Jesus as His grace was more than enough- and moved on with his life.
Unfortunately some people believe repentance means reconciliation. They are not one in the same. I wish you the very best and remind u no one has to stay where they stumbled 💜
@@kelmlofton Thank you for clearing that up, you seem like a nice lady and you deserve happiness. But a man who leaves the wife of his youth after 18 years cheats with someone else (not you) based on what you are saying then meets another woman which is you in a year and gets engaged is shadey. To top it off he just got officially divorce two months ago so how cud he been engaged and dating for a year. God does not change his character, that is fundamentally wrong. It's your life you seem happy now, but a man who abandons his wife after 18 years and gets engaged before getting divorced is not loyal. The same way you felt depressed after your husband walk out is the pain you caused for another woman, I just don't see how God would be behind that. I wish you all the best and pray for God's will to be done.
@@jaykity954 friend, we were not engaged until AFTER the divorce. But listen, I’m not here to defend or try to make you understand a story you have heard 2nd hand. One day Isiah will speak on truth, at that point you can make an educated assessment, rather than a jaded one. Believe me when I say I love you and I understand your heart .. I too use to take on others offenses so I get it! A good friend told me “let your character outlive the lie” .. so I guess all I can say it keep watching :) but I appreciate the prayers and concern, he and I have nothing to hide and most importantly he was honest with me. My Ohhh My❤️! This is to date my favorite episode, I mean I watch everything and I love your channel. But this episode in particular spoke to me personally, so genuine and encouraging. Her input about feeling entitled especially from a season of obedience resonated deeply with me. I am in a life season where the Holy Spirit is constantly telling me, "If you think you're doing God a favour by walking in obedience then stop." We tend to forget how self-righteousness is not authentic intimacy. You can keep all the "rules" in an attempt to impress/draw from God an you very well can still go astray. It's as much a sin (if not more) than anything else traditionally characterised as sin.
