I love Isaac's testimony because it's not about man's version of sin. It's about what God sees as sin and he needed and wanted more.
Makes me scream I pray for a man like that I think that is so amazing what a gift these two are to each other from God it's clear to see.
At the 37:30 mark when Isaac said that she "fits the description of a biblical wife" and he wanted to talk to her and see if they can work things out... Laaaaawd.
People need to recognize the characteristics of a good man/woman and stop cutting people off simply over a disagreement or because they have some thing(s) about them that you may not like.
This is what it's ALL about. Being able to recognize good when it's in front of you!
On a side note, I think my husband is probably younger than me and I'm very open to that!

Yes Believing God for my Kingdom wife. What I have on my vision board is of a biblical wife... There's no need to settle for anything less than that. I know what I desire and whT God has placed in me and I know that He has created an amazing Kingdom wife and purpose partner that He has for me
I like how this episode showcased a new relationship. I also like how it shows everyone's story isn't the same. We often like to compare each other's stories but you can't because everyone's story is unique to them. Not everybody's first date is a fairytale, but that doesn't mean the two people aren't still meant for each other.
Really a sweet episode. I loved how Courtney stated that Isaac covers her in prayer, adores her, and makes her feel safe. And how he loves on other people. Touched my heart! Praying that the LORD continues to bless and cover your union.

I really enjoyed this one. It was a great reminder on godly dating. We leave in a world where dating boundaries have been so broken you feel like you have to fall in line and compromise to the worldly standard. This was a testimony and a great reminder that we can have godly relationships with our future partners.

This is definitely among my favorite episodes Laterras. Isaac is super calm and confident, they look very calm and at peace together. No stress around them. I wish them well and give him kudos for going for what he wants. He's an old soul!

This is my favorite episode so far, since this couple resonate with me, seeing that their walk is what I want as well. A man of God who can cover me as I'm also deep in my faith and walk with Christ.
Another great episode and plenty of good nuggets. I love how mature, intentional and communicative Isaac is. His age definitely is not and should not be a factor. I enjoyed listening to Courtney speak about her journey and it gives me hope because an ex once told me that I’m hard to get along with and not only was it my first time ever hearing that, but it also confirmed he wasn’t for me. I hope their dating life converts to married life.

This was healthy. Just healthy. I love how these couples meet each other. It's beautiful. The topic of inclusive and exclusivity is a need. I always enjoy hearing it. I also enjoy hearing what dating really is.

Courtney we got that same advice on this podcast, LOL! I remember when I heard it last year, I ran to my friend and said "Latteras says we must date multiple people" let's get out of the box & try, we were on a mission. Man I didn't even go as far as giving out my number & she didn't even last 2weeks talking with multiple guys, let alone go on a date, it was hilarious!!!
Love how 2 people saw Courtney differently, the ex didn't see wife and Corey saw wife in a short space of time. Isaac is so sweet and strong❤. That's why we should never force people to see what they don't see, even if you put a magnifying glass to their eye, they still won't see it. And as for me, I don't ever want to lead a man to be leader.

I stopped at the part where you asked them about their journeys to Christ, which sent me down my own path of wondering how I would answer that question if you had to ask me 😅 and wow wow wow. Absolutely mind-blowing revelations came through as iv just been processing with God for over an hour, video still paused at 19minutes.
At the end of that path was the biggest revelation of all: That God has been Abba to me this whole time and my entire life. I never grew up with a father so when I say me finally experiencing God as Abba is gigantic; this is an understatement.
Further, not only did I receive this revelation, this revelation revealed another really deep revelation and that is of finally understanding who I am and that my identity is in Christ🎉🎉🎉🎉 and because of this, when I tell you soooooo much makes sense! PRAISE THE LIVING GOD!!!!!

Courtney said that Isaac didn't come how she expected him to because of his age. This reminds me that often when God supplies us with what we *need* it doesn't come exactly how we *want* or expect it. However, once we open and delve into the package that's when we can have the smile that Courtney had when she said "He's just amazing!"
On the other hand, many times when the devil is trying to deceive us he will present us with what we *want* exactly how we want it. This often traps us in some toxic situation-ships that we can't seem to get out of because 'how dare we turn our backs on the very thing we desired'
LIT family, let us not miss out on the blessings of Jesus because the packaging doesn't comply with our specifications. (Isaiah 55:8)

Exactly! As it states in 1 Samuel 16:7 (AMP): "For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
So satan usually trips us up, either by the lust of the flesh; lust of the eyes; or the pride of life.
1 John 2:15-16 (AMP) states:
Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world-the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]-these do not come from the Father, but are from the world.

Yes. At a certain age its not easy meeting guys aged 40 plus that are single. It's a struggle. I may have to be more open minded too. This was a great ep illustrating the importance of thinking outside the box. Going beyond the superficial. Speaks to me!

GREAT EPISODE! I'm wishing this couple many blessings. I feel like the hand of God is all over them. Laterras, purpose partner is like meeting your soul mate - a God ordained pick for your life that is suitable for your soul and necessary for your assignment. The problem people have in this area (me included), God can predestin something, but you have to choose who he has chosen for you. It's hard to have a good relationship with a bad pick (can the church say AMEN and give a high five 😂). Like this couple stated in so many words, good decision making begins with being self aware (understanding your direction and setting those boundaries and etc.). Facts ~ If you are not aware you are deceived! The one who comes to steal, kill, and destroy will rob you of your time, and that company can be expensive. And, that can cost you more than you know - something is not being written by you that should have been written, and there is something that is not being created by you that should have been created. God sends help, not company! In the Bible, when Ruth is in the field and working, Boaz goes to the one that is working (help). When you are growing emotionally and spiritually you are able to get to a place where you can grow and not feel bad about yourself (hence that young man's inner confidence), and in their case they are growing together. When I'm out joy riding, I might have to circle by a Seminary school - just joking 😟. Have a Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

Well, I'm in Leadership College! 🤷🏾♀️👀🤣🤣. On a serious note, this episode is right on time. It reminds me that alignment in Christ is necessary on both sides. While I'm not currently dating, I've noticed a perspective shift on who I'm willing to entertain ( mostly people in my career field, not necessarily in "ministry". ) That could very well be a symptom of me getting tired and loosing sight of what matters most.
