Hey all, I just want to make a quick comment about my double cryo melt team. Though I still like using double cryo for its easy to preform melts, there are better melt teams for diluc that only require one cryo and sucrose. Though I didn't say in the video that the double cryo melt team is his best, I don't want you guys to think that you have to run two cryos for melt to work. After building surcose (cause I was bored), I've found out that she works amazingly in melt. She'll grant diluc em while also swirling cryo for her burst, causing for enemies to affected by cryo a good amount, allowing diluc to deal a lot of damage quite easily. You should add more graphics to your videos to make it easy to absorb and retain in the memory as you have already given the material of probably 7-8 videos in a single one which is phenomenal but in order to keep it in mind somebody have to watch your video again and again as at that point its almost information overload much appreciated though... I think adding simplifying graphics with whatever you are saying makes it easy to understand and your channel will surely grow from it as more and more people would find it easy to understand and the amount of details you share is just a USP on its own... Hey, I meant the attack patterns when in different comps like in vaporize 1st 1na>E1>1na>E2>1na>E3>burst... In case of xingqiu bennet and zhongli... But in case of double hydro: Burst>1na>E1>1na>e2>1na>e3... Stuff... And its different for burgeon and mono pyro... And also alot of stuff... You can simply add texts as graphic lables or you can use some materials from keqingmains site they got some infographics from which you can take some inspiration... Overall I know its a lot of added work which I'm recommending but it's just the amount of details you're sharing is really valuable but is somehow bottelnecking by the ease of understanding factors... And adding graphics and texts to every important thing you're explaining will just optimize your videos to be as informative plus easy to understand as well... Which I think will help you in getting a higher watch time and audience retention period as it will be easy to understand and relate with... Hope this helps...
And yes your weapon section is a bit confusing as well... For me not that much cause I'm at endgame but for midgame players it might be a little confusing... It'll obviously be better if you add charts for different team comps and scenarios that will be amazing... Also you should add more personal opinions and what you think is the better way to go as many people who watch videos like this are there to get guidance more than information generally speaking... So yeah...

Good guide! I love my Diluc. FInally have him in a decent place. About 2200 atk, 250 EM, 200 ER. Crits could use work, more Pyro dmg% needed, but it's a process. For now, using 2 Crimsons and 2 Severed Fates....also a process. I have him at the point where I can see how terrifying he can be with a full perfect setup. Thanks for the guide! Now if I can only get better with figuring out my rotations.....

I've had Diluc for about six months and never really played him. I only started using him to farm the Forsaken Rift domain because Yanfei is constantly out of stamina there, and I realized I totally missed his potential. Great guide mate, subscribed!
The windtrace event's weapon is amazing for Diluc. I've been using it over my R2 Serpent Spine cuz I believe 68/150 CV is better than 96/150 cuz the reactions.
For Burgeon Diluc I highly suggest Kirara now and if you are free 2 Play and don't have Nahida use Yao Yao , Kirara , Barbara and Diluc instead , the Dendro Core Application is crazy and your shielded against the damage. So consider this if you don't have Zhongli or Nahida😃 You additionally get 50 EM from 2 Dendros
Another thing you can also do is delay input the 4th normal to make sure it also Vaporizes. What i mean by this is in Genshin impact normally there is a window from which you can time the next normal attack all though some characters have larger windows of delaying the next attack there is actually a simple trick to performing it for almost every character and almost every normal attack from almost every normal attack string. Basically you want to input a direction (of course the direction you're facing towards the enemy) BUT, when your character only just starts moving, quickly then click attack. This can be performed literally frames before the full ending animation of almost any normal attack that is about to end, doing this correctly will result in the character executing the next normal attack in the string WAY past the window of delay. The reason why i do this is because almost always if i slightly delay that 4th normal, my diluc will then Vaporize or melt off that normal attack dealing massive amounts of damage as Diluc's 4th normal attack has a very high multiplier, It's a trick i use for other characters for fun but i mostly use it on Diluc since Vaporizing off the 4th normal is just massive.

Started playing again like 2 days ago and pulled Diluc and decided to main him just because he's a badass lol I already have a Rosaria and obviously Kaeya so I just need to pull a Bennett and I'll have my squad 🤞🏻
finally i finished building diluc with the team i run him in (benny boi , batman larper , rosaria , sucrose) he's does a really good amount of damage and extremely fun to use unlike my yoimiya without a shielder (no zhongli)

Thanks, I would say to use the rainslasher over the pride. For the sands you can use either the atk or em sands. Em is best but you'll then want to use bennett with diluc. You want to use bennett with diluc even if you use an atk sands, but using an em sands with benny will deal the most dmg, so its best to use the em sands and bennett
I been using him with Layla she’s currently c5 and has the Key of kaj nisut and he has been hitting hard with great melt damage and she uses the tenacity set so more buffs, my overall team is Layla Diluc Yelan/Xingqui & Benny
is Blackcliff or Rainslasher better? Also, should i use crit circlet or atk circlet? bcos my Diluc's atk is a bit low, 1990, and em is 200. 77 cr, 234 cd
I'd say to use the rainslahser and use a crit rate circlet. Atk though really good, can come from other sources like benny and such, while crit is very important
A pretty good video but a few issues I see (not out to attack you or anything trying to be constructive as possible) On the serpent spine thing it is dilucs bis at r5(or atleast a side grade at worst it's debatable) on paper but can lose out to redhorn(what I would personally call his bis) if you can't maintain the stacks Pretty easily . And for the team comps why not mention diluc Bennett anemo + rosaria/kaeya instead? The aoe control of sucrose or kazuha is great you can swirl both cryo and pyro pretty easily to buff both units(atleast with kazuha it's slightly trickier with sucrose) really smooth with kazuha though just has somewhat steep ER requirements and has enough cryo output to let you use dilucs Q at the start if you don't own Bennett c6. Only real issue with it is it requires alittle bit of timing to get the rotation setup down but gives you better DMG (and ofc some er requirements for cryo and anemo unit) For yelan you can fix the issue of her mediocre application with starting with her q and infusing your anemo unit with it(sorta like how you would do with melt then do Bennet qe Kaz e to swirl pyro then yelan E to vape her E to clear the pyro into diluc combos(it's really great if you have elegy since it should procc the second diluc hits the field with this) I also noticed in your xingqiu footage in the team comps you weren't swirling pyro im pretty sure just swirling hydro while causing a rev vape with Kaz e If anyone has any questions or wants to call me a braindead idiot please do
No worries at all, I can see you being constructive instead of attacking or anything of the sort. I appreciate the feedback. I said the wolves gravestone is his bis basically because it'll make him deal a lot of dmg as with the entire party. I know redhorn with benny can deal more dmg but I still feel as though the wgs is better in terms of overall team dmg. Diluc is dealing a lot as is his team. For diluc's personal dmg redhorn is definitely better so long as you have bennett. For ss perhaps it differs on the builds players have but from my testing and from looking at others that have had the r5 ss in comparison to wgs (I believe redhorn as well), they claimed r5 ss was better. I was actually going to mention that team but after testing it in the abyss it felt quite restricting and didn't preform particularly well, at least in comparison to the double cryo team. You're absolutely right about the need of kazuha needing high er. I'm 90% sure I ran kazuha with high er and that didn't give great results, once again in comparison to the double cryo team, cause rosaria who I used, would only apply cryo with her burst every 2s, as did kazuha if I'm not mistaken. This had me waiting quite a bit to melt which did reduce my dmg in the abyss. Whereas for the double cryo team I didn't have to wait as long and thus could melt more/deal more dmg in the abyss. The double cryo team was on par with the double hydro team, while just rosaria and kauhza took much longer to clear the abyss. For using dilucs burst in the 1 cryo + kazuha team, If I'm not mistaken I did try that but I ended triggering reverse melt. Perhaps I messed up the rotation or attacked too much with diluc but that was my results with the team. So I scrapped it and mentioned the double cryo team because it felt better and delt more dmg from my tests For yelan ya I said in the video her hydro application tho not as much as xingqiu isn't a problem and can be fixed pretty easily For my footage, I could check again but I'm pretty sure I did swirl pyro. What I was trying to do was basically give buffs to both yelan (or xingqiu if I used him) and diluc. That was a thing of kazuha I hadn't utilized until recently so I was trying to showcase/demonstrate that since its so strong. So of the times I swirled bennetts burst with kazuha skill and reversed vape (unless I'm mentioning the wrong moment) that's what I was trying to do. If you already knew this and I actually did mess it up then my mistake and sorry for the rambling. Thanks again for your feedback!
@@jjjackal1110 ahh it's a thing with kazuha and xingqiu it's really hard to swirl both with a hydro kazuha ult since he has to have no elements applied THEN you have to apply pyro and the aura you have around you makes it hard to apply the pyro so all you end up really doing is vaping his E . You'd have to like Bennett e to clear his hydro then keep your distance and hold Kaz e I believe to clear the hydro off him so apply pyro with the plunge it's a huge headache it's way easier to do with yelan and kaeya/rosaria. Not swirling pyro/double swirling is actually a pretty common mistake for most people who play diluc(especially with kazuha because infusion =/= swirling on his E, but then you get the people who do the pyro Kaz burst but don't know how to actually vape dilucs attacks with it and think diluc does not damage lol(you can just need to do some finagling with your rotation) As for the melt team with anemo what was your rotation exactly? I have no problems with it and do pretty considerably DMG (more so than rosaria should add to overall team dps) even when my kaeya was using fav sword 15-16k and my dilucs damage does up by like 57% and that's without freedomsworn or kazuha c2 per icecicle I've had no real problems with it even before I would just use fav kazuha and fav kaeya but even switching kaeya off fav the er is still alright unless I'm in a boss fight without good particle gen but I can always lower my em some for more er in those cases anyway you can check some of my clips I suppose for reference for how my er goes. I will say it does require alittle bit more practice and the er is somewhat steep not too too crazy if you build fav kaz or have a xiphos my DMG loss tanking to 700 em from 1000 wasn't even that huge (that was for testing only though) buut it should be comfortable more DPS and better aoe handing in mob Chambers. As for redhorn vs SS vs wgs it's uh kinda weird. Ss should deal about the same e and q DMG as redhorn with max stacks at r5 but redhorn will have higher NA and serpent will have higher average damage ususally cuz higher cr. So they ususally come out pretty similar on paper just redhorn is more consistent if you can manage stacks and don't have to wait a year for the stacks to load up for max damage. As for wgs it depends. If you're using yelan or kaeya the extra atk% is useless I think rosaria snap shots too . Unless you're In a. Chamber where you need to two rotation and can do it before the wgs buff goes away and in xingqius case I'm not sure you'd have to get a few volleys out with it active which can happen but then you're still competing against the extra damage redhorn does(and my redhorn does more damage than my inactive r5 wgs on e and q on top of the even extra damage over the NAs ). I'm not saying it's impossible but just depends on case by case even in weird one rotation scenarios my r5 wgs still loses unless I'm doing a few hits with it active and not like 1. As for yelan I was just pointing out there's a better solution and it gets you more damage so you can have hydro applied before diluc hits the field Sorry for the disorganization I was writing the parts that came to my head first and I'm on my phone Small edit: in my testing (granted my diluc is probably a bit more invested than most people so maybe im jaded ) It comes out to like diluc Kaz Ben kaeya bring the best team overall with using yelan to be about the same but slightly worse in aoe and better in single target then xingqiu (he actually does crazy DMG so the gap is very small) double hydro is pretty good in single target comparatively but the more investment diluc and your hydros get it's better to have vv + anemo buff to buff those two units up than to split the damage For instance my double hydro time was similar vs the PMA compared for vv+yelan but when I tried vs the chicken I lost like 10-15 seconds like a 28-30 second clear vs a 40-50 second clear. Granted I dint try too too hard but I don't think I could've shaved that much off
@@primez1235 Thanks for these new insights, I'll take these things into account moving forward. When I would swirl hydro and then pyro, I would test out the rotations and check if both diluc and xingqui got the buffs, which they always did. Maybe I messed up the rotations in my footage but I'll definitely test the swirling with your technique. For the rotation of one cryo and kazuha, I would use rosaria's skill, burst, kazuha burst, bennett burst, kazuha's skill and then diluc's skill every 2s, followed by his burst as a last hit. Like I said I did try using diluc's burst in the beginning but he did end up applying too much pyro for him to melt, though I'm open to hear any suggestions you have to fix this
@@jjjackal1110 hmm I see one potential problem is that you're doing the cryo burst too early so they don't get Bennett buff which is a considerable DPS loss it's also possible you're not swirling pyro in this case either since you're just tapping his skill since he might not infuse it that fast and you might've cleared the element from him total and kinda just doing raw anemo DMG. An example would be . Cryo skill > kazuha burst-> Bennett Q(to get rid of the cryo) then immediately after Bennet e(to apply pyro to swirl)-> kazuha E to swirl pyro-> then cryo burst and optionally skill before or after kinda depends if you need the extra particles or not and which cryo you use but after is probably better you can melt roaarias q cast if you cast it first I think? And kaeyas burst takes to long to drain so he can't get the particles slow enough sometimes. But casting the cryo burst at the end guarentees that there will be cryo applied before diluc hits the field As much as I hate to shill one of my recent videos has a rotation of this without diluc q first vs the chicken and I'm not even waiting or anything just NA E NA E, now not that you have to watch my videos you can watch someone like pulyn who does it too he has a whole guide video actually (alittle out dated with the yelan stuff on it I think though) where he does it with q at the start. Though I do have an example of my yelan rotation with the q at the start for fun in my actual most recent video. But again no need to shill already feel gross for it lol sorry just an easy reference rather than words is all. more importantly As for the xingqiu stuff it's possible in your testing you very well did might've worked out a bit differently with the application or something but I'm 99% sure if i copy that with hydro applied to the enemy and Kaz e that I won't swirl pyro. I remember because I was doing a recording of a comparison and had to look up a rotation to swirl both from the diluc discord because I was having trouble lol because I always do the pyro Kaz burst because it's easier and I get to see crazy big xingqiu nukes when I use him.
@@primez1235 Sorry to make you write all that, now that you mention it, I can't remember entirely whether I did use bennetts burst first, to buff rosaria's burst. It's been a while since I recorded my initial footage but what you mentioned absolutely makes sense. If I didn't buff her burst with benny then that was a big mistake on my end, I'm definitely gonna be testing that again. And I know how you feel when it comes to explaining things others and mentioning your own videos. Somethings are long or kind of difficult to explain, so you just recommend them watching a video you made, but you don't mean to advertise your video to them, you're just trying to help them out😂. yestarday i was doing some testing on the genshin optimizer, 4CWoF EM EM EM is just slightly lower burgeon damage than 4GD EM EM EM. The difference was about 9-7% depending whether I used Nahida's Q or not. For anyone wondering, the other party members were all from different elements, so i got the complete EM bonus from the GD. From my testing, for a hybrid build, CWoF seems to be better, since the pyro damage decreases significantly with GD. (50CR, 100CD, around 2k attack. These pieces were average pieces)
Interesting, if I'm not mistaken my tests are pretty much what your findings are. Though 4 flowers of lost paradise was the best, it wasn't a big dmg difference from the two 80 em sets , 4 gilded and crimson witch. All of these sets are pretty equal, aside from 4 deepwood memories.
@@jjjackal1110 yeah, 4 FoPL gives slightly higher burgeon damage, though (personally) i'd recommend 4 CWoF because in a burgeon team diluc can still get many vapes, which are significantly stronger with CW than GD or FoPL
You're Welcome :) You should build them in a way that will make their bursts deal high damage. So they should have around 160% energy, with either 4 emblem of severed fate, or two blizzard strayer/2 gladiators with 2 noblesse. If the two can't get their bursts back fast enough, give the two more energy or give one of them a favonious weapon
Your video gave me the idea of giving attention to his EM as well. I don't use Diluc with Bennet since I have Baizhu, Yelan and Raiden on my team but I have the sketch on how to improve his stats thanks to your breakdown. He's C2 to me and the very first 5 star I had with Zhongli so he'll be forever in my team and my husbando 😆 Dang, and I thought EM is useless to him so my Crimson Witch EM artifact is with Klee instead haha. Time to cry in Spanish for farming his artifacts again.....
@jjjackal1110 Thank you! I have the Redhorn Claymore on Diluc since his WGS is still not going to me but I'll do anything just to give Diluc the best options he could have. I'll just replace Raiden with Zhongli and do a Burgeon/Vaporize team for him to use him more efficiently too. I'm a fan of Diluc haha, so I keep watching videos for him when I think I'm missing something in his build T w T Already crowned 3x and had his 5 star outfit too. Just WGS.........
I have him c2 right now. I might run Yelan, Xingqiu, and Bennett. Yelan and Xingqiu are not built right now though. I might try burgeon but I need to learn more about it.
The team you mentioned is the one I'd recommend the most. I've not done any calculations but that's likely his strongest team, or at the very least one of his strongest

I'm a new player and pulled for xiao but got diluc instead. however, apparently that could be the best possible outcome according to what I found on the internet (because xiao probably isn't that good) so i'm looking foward to build diluc. I think I'm gonna aim for xingqiu and pull for yelan in the next banner but I don't have bennet yet. Any recomendations u have for me would be so appreciated haha and also: Who should I get from the night chimes event? I Was thinking to get xingqiu for more constellation or cheongyun since I don't have him and it's cryo.

Xiao is good but as a new player, he probably wouldn't be the best choice since you need specific supports for him which you may not have, like bennett as you mentioned. And I would definitely recommend getting yelan. She's great, even beyond the double hydro team. Since she's like xingqiu, she can be used in a lot of teams which is going to be very useful when you get more characters and advance in the abyss where you use two teams on each side, so she's a great pull overall. For the night of chimes event unless you like chongyun, I wouldn't recommend getting him. I'd say to do as you said and get xingqiu for his constellations. His constellations are really good and make him even more amazing. So you should aim to get him c6. But do be careful when wishing for his constellations, it's actually more difficult to get a 4 star c6 than getting a 5 star since the chances to get the same 4 star repeatedly are low. So I'd recommend to try to get a few constellations for xingqiu when yelan comes out, and leave it at that. But don't force it and keep wishing until you get him c6, you'll be spending a lot of primogems and its good to get other characters' constellations and other 5 stars in the future. Good luck!

Yup, running triple em and an em sword will give you more than 200 em. Which is what you want since that will increase his burgeon damage, which is his main source of damage
can i still use bennett with xingqiu if my bennett is c6? does it break my diluc vape since bennett makes my diluc normal attack infused with pyro? im still hitting 40k to 60k with diluc elemental skill though. so i dont know what to do
no don't worry you're good. Xingqiu applies a lot of hydro to enemies, so they should be affected by hydro the entire time. He applies more hydro with more constellations but if anything you can double check by looking at the enemies health bar to see if they're constantly affected with hydro. But even so, since you're diluc is still hitting high numbers I highly doubt you're vaping wrong
So I need some advice. I’m trying an overload team consisting of beidou, electric traveler, hu Tao and diluc. I just got diluc now and I want to use him in place of xinqin but he carried me extremely far. What do you think
For that team it would be kind of odd to play both hu tao and diluc in the same team, since they're both dps. You use those teams in the outer world and for fun, but for the abyss itd be best to separate hu tao and diluc into different teams. For diluc to shine in that team, you could have diluc in that team as the main dps, and then switch hu tao for a buffer to diluc
I saw a video about diluc dealing 1m and another one dealing 5.5m dmg ? Is this possible ? I honestly have him c2 and I think he is weak 5 stars please help
No that's not possible, not normally anyway. Those videos will come from whale accounts, so c6 units and r5 weapons. The characters will also have very bad crit ratios. For example, 20% crit rate and like 320 crit damage. These type of builds are not optimal and are called dps, damage per screenshot. Its not at all recommended to play this way, its just meant for fun and to see how high someones can be. Its not used for the abyss or normal play
After watching the video i think that all I need for him is just an em piece and 2 cryo characters to deal better dmg than my vape. I put up an em sands and he dealt 74k on burst vape. Slightly less on the melt team, but I don't have better cryo characters built
You could use one cryo and sucrose instead of two cryo's. Though I still like using double cryo, adding sucrose to the team and swirling pyro, and then after swirling cryo with her burst allows for diluc to deal tons of damage, fairly easily. This is an og melt diluc team that doesn't have much traction but is something I learned recently and is really good
Hi! Another new Diluc main here xD What do you think about Mailed Flower R5? I was using Serpent Spine for month but this weird sword with flowers feels somewhat like Rainslasher, boosts good amount of EM. Though I have to build Diluc again in terms of artifacts. Any thoughts?
The mailed flower is a really good weapon for diluc, but I wouldn't say its good enough to warrant you grinding for new artifacts. If you feel that your diluc is lacking or you already planned to farm for diluc, then I'd recommend using the mailed flower and grind for diluc. If he's already good then there isn't much of a point to grind again to use the mailed flower

I wonder. Can Baizhu work with Burgeon Diluc? I was thinking of that team with Yelan, C2 Nahida, & Baizhu for healing, Dendro resonance for more EM, & maybe shield for the cores.
He absolutely can, and the reasons you mention are correct. But I would separate nahida and baizhu just cause they two together aren't as good as having two hydros in the team. With two hydros you'd have increased dendro core production, so your dmg through burgeon would increase a good amount. With two dendro's your dmg would increase with the increases to reactions and em, but I don't believe as much as having more overall cores (can't 100% confirms since I don't have Baizhu). So maybe play baizhu with diluc, and then play nahida in another team that could use her. But know this is not to say that the team you mentioned is bad or that you can't play it
Honey, I have one of the best Dilucs in game. Entirely f2p c1. He is better than my INSANE Hu Tao. No support required, but vape in necessary in pyro domains.
Was planning to build him to a 1000 EM for burgeon right now he's at lvl 80 with 600 em, currently doing 18k per burgeon proc, with Yelan + Nahida, any advice to make this team stronger?
Levelling him to 90 will make his burgeon much stronger, and giving him any of the sets I mentioned with as much em as possible. Also if you have c6 diona, try using her with diluc. I'm not sure if there'll be some problems that occur with diona, since there will be cryo and hydro on enemies, but diona will give another 200 em to diluc with her burst which will really help
In your opinion, if yelan, xingqu, and Zhongli are in another party, what Hydro character and flex character would go well with Diluc and Nahida in a Burgeon Team?
First I would say to try to give either yelan or xingqiu to the diluc team since they produce really good results. But if not you could use ayato, mona, kokomi or barbara. I'm pretty sure mona and kokomi will do really well, so I think you could keep yelan and xq in that team. Ayato's a decent choice, his burst is somewhat random so it's not the most consistent in creating cores. And barbara would be used for her skills/normals
I wonder if you can used thr mailed flower claymore in burgeon teams on diluc I know it’s main stat is EM with elemental reaction passive that boosts attack and Em after triggering reactions
i’ve recently gotten c4 diluc… (sadly still no jean or tighnari) but i’ve decided to pick up where i left off and play diluc since the game is basically boring right now.
i got him twice while I didnt want him. at first he was powerful 5star character. now he is just another character. I wanted janna since I had a huge issue of not having healers nor anemo characters worth investing in. janna wouldve boosted my comp drastically even tho many dont like her
hi i got a question, for the vaporize build wot artifacts/weapons best to use for yelan and xingqiu? i usally run xingqiu with full nobless+sacrif sword
For weapons you should use either the sacrificial bow and sword (as u are already), or the favonius sword and bow. For artifacts, it'd be best to give yelan and xingqiu either 4 emblem of severed fate, or 2 noblesse and two heart of depth. Or you could give xingqiu 2 noblesse and two gladiator. And yelan 2 noblesse and 2 tenacity of the milelith
@JJJackal It's a bit better just due to the crit value alone. Still get 40% att bonus so it's like a gravestone, the extra HP is nice for tanking damage. All around a great generalist claymore for anybody that scales off att. I've been hitting way higher than with other weapons.

I use an r5 rainslasher on my diluc, and apparently its equivalent if not slighly better than an r5 rainslasher. It's also apparently better than the slasher in melt, which is great since I use the slasher for melt and vape. Might have to start using that sword, even though it looks terrible on diluc
No I highly doubt it, many people that main diluc c6 their bennett for him and they're able to vape just fine. Though I doubt you need to do this if anything, you can animation cancel his normal attacks with his skill, where just as you press the normal attack button, you can use diluc's skill to apply hydro with xingqiu or yelan
Hello I'm a returning player, can I ask if my team build of diluc is good? It consist of diluc main dps, Barbara as my healer, Sub dps for Chongyun and Fischl for support
i'd say it is. Only thing is that with so many elements mixed in the team you might perform some unwanted reaction that might get in the way of vape or freeze, but other than that the team should be good. Plus though the other reactions might get in the way they will still help you so its not too bad of a thing. If you're a player still in early game then continue with the team, if endgame go for a more traditional diluc team

@@jeo-crizizzackperdio4283 glad to help, yes replacing barbara with those two will be a good change. Only thing is that chongyun doesn't apply much cryo for diluc to constantly melt. So try to use sucrose's burst after chongyun's, so her's will absorb cryo and allow for diluc to melt easier
I started playing about 2 weeks ago and pulled diluc and mona. I was wondering whether you would play mona over yelan in that double hydro bennett build?
I've just looked into it and I would say it is. 40% is big, yet you do have slightly change your attack pattern. I'm not sure if its a mistranslation of the constellation, but of those that also have c4, they're saying you should normal attack twice to optimally make use of the dmg increase. But perhaps its best to try both techniques, the normal attacking twice and his skill vs attacking once and his skill, to see which feels better and to see if the damage increase is even worth it
I'd say your only option is then to play mona and diluc together. I'm not sure how well they would work together, unfortunately, I don't have mona. But if anything if they don't work, you can wish for xingqiu when he appears on a banner, which should be soon since he hasn't appeared on a banner for a while
I just checked and zhongli's shred is better for the dendro cores. His shred is also really good for nahida and xingqiu's dmg, so zhongli's shred is the all around best in comparison to diona's 200 em. Though she can still be a good alternative to zhongli if you cant use him

Hey all, I just want to make a quick comment about my double cryo melt team. Though I still like using double cryo for its easy to preform melts, there are better melt teams for diluc that only require one cryo and sucrose. Though I didn't say in the video that the double cryo melt team is his best, I don't want you guys to think that you have to run two cryos for melt to work. After building surcose (cause I was bored), I've found out that she works amazingly in melt. She'll grant diluc em while also swirling cryo for her burst, causing for enemies to affected by cryo a good amount, allowing diluc to deal a lot of damage quite easily. Hope this helped you find a strong melt team

But one thing I would like to add is...
You should add more graphics to your videos to make it easy to absorb and retain in the memory as you have already given the material of probably 7-8 videos in a single one which is phenomenal but in order to keep it in mind somebody have to watch your video again and again as at that point its almost information overload much appreciated though...
I think adding simplifying graphics with whatever you are saying makes it easy to understand and your channel will surely grow from it as more and more people would find it easy to understand and the amount of details you share is just a USP on its own...

Overall I know its a lot of added work which I'm recommending but it's just the amount of details you're sharing is really valuable but is somehow bottelnecking by the ease of understanding factors...
And adding graphics and texts to every important thing you're explaining will just optimize your videos to be as informative plus easy to understand as well...
Which I think will help you in getting a higher watch time and audience retention period as it will be easy to understand and relate with...

Good guide! I love my Diluc. FInally have him in a decent place. About 2200 atk, 250 EM, 200 ER. Crits could use work, more Pyro dmg% needed, but it's a process. For now, using 2 Crimsons and 2 Severed Fates....also a process. I have him at the point where I can see how terrifying he can be with a full perfect setup. Thanks for the guide!

Replace zhongli with yaoyao. Heal+ generate alot of dendro core. So you dont have to switch back to Nahida so often
True, I've never tried diluc with yaoyao. When I end up building her I'll definitely have to try this
zhongli mostliekly will give more damage with his shield alone + swapping to nahida and back is like 2 seconds
I'd say use Diona c6. Give her instructor and Elegy if you have it. Massive EM buff and cryo application to reduce burning
I've had Diluc for about six months and never really played him. I only started using him to farm the Forsaken Rift domain because Yanfei is constantly out of stamina there, and I realized I totally missed his potential. Great guide mate, subscribed!

The windtrace event's weapon is amazing for Diluc. I've been using it over my R2 Serpent Spine cuz I believe 68/150 CV is better than 96/150 cuz the reactions.
For Burgeon Diluc I highly suggest Kirara now and if you are free 2 Play and don't have Nahida use Yao Yao , Kirara , Barbara and Diluc instead , the Dendro Core Application is crazy and your shielded against the damage. So consider this if you don't have Zhongli or Nahida😃 You additionally get 50 EM from 2 Dendros

Another thing you can also do is delay input the 4th normal to make sure it also Vaporizes.
What i mean by this is in Genshin impact normally there is a window from which you can time the next normal attack all though some characters have larger windows of delaying the next attack there is actually a simple trick to performing it for almost every character and almost every normal attack from almost every normal attack string.
Basically you want to input a direction (of course the direction you're facing towards the enemy) BUT, when your character only just starts moving, quickly then click attack. This can be performed literally frames before the full ending animation of almost any normal attack that is about to end, doing this correctly will result in the character executing the next normal attack in the string WAY past the window of delay.
The reason why i do this is because almost always if i slightly delay that 4th normal, my diluc will then Vaporize or melt off that normal attack dealing massive amounts of damage as Diluc's 4th normal attack has a very high multiplier, It's a trick i use for other characters for fun but i mostly use it on Diluc since Vaporizing off the 4th normal is just massive.

Diluc is my favorite because you can basically combo with the skills
Chongyun or Candace can be really good for letting Diluc apply Cryo or Hydro himself between bouts of his Elemental Skill.
in my experience, chongyuns elemental skill with the aa cryo infusion barely works, it takes 4 or 5 hits to actually apply cryo to an enemy

finally i finished building diluc with the team i run him in (benny boi , batman larper , rosaria , sucrose) he's does a really good amount of damage and extremely fun to use unlike my yoimiya without a shielder (no zhongli)

Thanks, I would say to use the rainslasher over the pride. For the sands you can use either the atk or em sands. Em is best but you'll then want to use bennett with diluc. You want to use bennett with diluc even if you use an atk sands, but using an em sands with benny will deal the most dmg, so its best to use the em sands and bennett

is Blackcliff or Rainslasher better? Also, should i use crit circlet or atk circlet? bcos my Diluc's atk is a bit low, 1990, and em is 200. 77 cr, 234 cd
I'd say to use the rainslahser and use a crit rate circlet. Atk though really good, can come from other sources like benny and such, while crit is very important
A pretty good video but a few issues I see (not out to attack you or anything trying to be constructive as possible)
On the serpent spine thing it is dilucs bis at r5(or atleast a side grade at worst it's debatable) on paper but can lose out to redhorn(what I would personally call his bis) if you can't maintain the stacks Pretty easily .
And for the team comps why not mention diluc Bennett anemo + rosaria/kaeya instead? The aoe control of sucrose or kazuha is great you can swirl both cryo and pyro pretty easily to buff both units(atleast with kazuha it's slightly trickier with sucrose) really smooth with kazuha though just has somewhat steep ER requirements and has enough cryo output to let you use dilucs Q at the start if you don't own Bennett c6.
Only real issue with it is it requires alittle bit of timing to get the rotation setup down but gives you better DMG (and ofc some er requirements for cryo and anemo unit)
For yelan you can fix the issue of her mediocre application with starting with her q and infusing your anemo unit with it(sorta like how you would do with melt then do Bennet qe Kaz e to swirl pyro then yelan E to vape her E to clear the pyro into diluc combos(it's really great if you have elegy since it should procc the second diluc hits the field with this)
I also noticed in your xingqiu footage in the team comps you weren't swirling pyro im pretty sure just swirling hydro while causing a rev vape with Kaz e

I said the wolves gravestone is his bis basically because it'll make him deal a lot of dmg as with the entire party. I know redhorn with benny can deal more dmg but I still feel as though the wgs is better in terms of overall team dmg. Diluc is dealing a lot as is his team. For diluc's personal dmg redhorn is definitely better so long as you have bennett. For ss perhaps it differs on the builds players have but from my testing and from looking at others that have had the r5 ss in comparison to wgs (I believe redhorn as well), they claimed r5 ss was better.
I was actually going to mention that team but after testing it in the abyss it felt quite restricting and didn't preform particularly well, at least in comparison to the double cryo team. You're absolutely right about the need of kazuha needing high er. I'm 90% sure I ran kazuha with high er and that didn't give great results, once again in comparison to the double cryo team, cause rosaria who I used, would only apply cryo with her burst every 2s, as did kazuha if I'm not mistaken. This had me waiting quite a bit to melt which did reduce my dmg in the abyss. Whereas for the double cryo team I didn't have to wait as long and thus could melt more/deal more dmg in the abyss. The double cryo team was on par with the double hydro team, while just rosaria and kauhza took much longer to clear the abyss. For using dilucs burst in the 1 cryo + kazuha team, If I'm not mistaken I did try that but I ended triggering reverse melt. Perhaps I messed up the rotation or attacked too much with diluc but that was my results with the team. So I scrapped it and mentioned the double cryo team because it felt better and delt more dmg from my tests
For yelan ya I said in the video her hydro application tho not as much as xingqiu isn't a problem and can be fixed pretty easily
For my footage, I could check again but I'm pretty sure I did swirl pyro. What I was trying to do was basically give buffs to both yelan (or xingqiu if I used him) and diluc. That was a thing of kazuha I hadn't utilized until recently so I was trying to showcase/demonstrate that since its so strong. So of the times I swirled bennetts burst with kazuha skill and reversed vape (unless I'm mentioning the wrong moment) that's what I was trying to do. If you already knew this and I actually did mess it up then my mistake and sorry for the rambling. Thanks again for your feedback!
@@jjjackal1110 ahh it's a thing with kazuha and xingqiu it's really hard to swirl both with a hydro kazuha ult since he has to have no elements applied THEN you have to apply pyro and the aura you have around you makes it hard to apply the pyro so all you end up really doing is vaping his E . You'd have to like Bennett e to clear his hydro then keep your distance and hold Kaz e I believe to clear the hydro off him so apply pyro with the plunge it's a huge headache it's way easier to do with yelan and kaeya/rosaria.
Not swirling pyro/double swirling is actually a pretty common mistake for most people who play diluc(especially with kazuha because infusion =/= swirling on his E, but then you get the people who do the pyro Kaz burst but don't know how to actually vape dilucs attacks with it and think diluc does not damage lol(you can just need to do some finagling with your rotation)
As for the melt team with anemo what was your rotation exactly? I have no problems with it and do pretty considerably DMG (more so than rosaria should add to overall team dps) even when my kaeya was using fav sword 15-16k and my dilucs damage does up by like 57% and that's without freedomsworn or kazuha c2 per icecicle I've had no real problems with it even before I would just use fav kazuha and fav kaeya but even switching kaeya off fav the er is still alright unless I'm in a boss fight without good particle gen but I can always lower my em some for more er in those cases anyway you can check some of my clips I suppose for reference for how my er goes.
I will say it does require alittle bit more practice and the er is somewhat steep not too too crazy if you build fav kaz or have a xiphos my DMG loss tanking to 700 em from 1000 wasn't even that huge (that was for testing only though) buut it should be comfortable more DPS and better aoe handing in mob Chambers.
As for redhorn vs SS vs wgs it's uh kinda weird.
Ss should deal about the same e and q DMG as redhorn with max stacks at r5 but redhorn will have higher NA and serpent will have higher average damage ususally cuz higher cr. So they ususally come out pretty similar on paper just redhorn is more consistent if you can manage stacks and don't have to wait a year for the stacks to load up for max damage.
As for wgs it depends. If you're using yelan or kaeya the extra atk% is useless I think rosaria snap shots too .
Unless you're In a. Chamber where you need to two rotation and can do it before the wgs buff goes away and in xingqius case
I'm not sure you'd have to get a few volleys out with it active which can happen but then you're still competing against the extra damage redhorn does(and my redhorn does more damage than my inactive r5 wgs on e and q on top of the even extra damage over the NAs ). I'm not saying it's impossible but just depends on case by case even in weird one rotation scenarios my r5 wgs still loses unless I'm doing a few hits with it active and not like 1.
As for yelan I was just pointing out there's a better solution and it gets you more damage so you can have hydro applied before diluc hits the field

Small edit: in my testing (granted my diluc is probably a bit more invested than most people so maybe im jaded )
It comes out to like diluc Kaz Ben kaeya bring the best team overall with using yelan to be about the same but slightly worse in aoe and better in single target then xingqiu (he actually does crazy DMG so the gap is very small) double hydro is pretty good in single target comparatively but the more investment diluc and your hydros get it's better to have vv + anemo buff to buff those two units up than to split the damage
For instance my double hydro time was similar vs the PMA compared for vv+yelan but when I tried vs the chicken I lost like 10-15 seconds like a 28-30 second clear vs a 40-50 second clear. Granted I dint try too too hard but I don't think I could've shaved that much off
@@primez1235 Thanks for these new insights, I'll take these things into account moving forward. When I would swirl hydro and then pyro, I would test out the rotations and check if both diluc and xingqui got the buffs, which they always did. Maybe I messed up the rotations in my footage but I'll definitely test the swirling with your technique.
For the rotation of one cryo and kazuha, I would use rosaria's skill, burst, kazuha burst, bennett burst, kazuha's skill and then diluc's skill every 2s, followed by his burst as a last hit. Like I said I did try using diluc's burst in the beginning but he did end up applying too much pyro for him to melt, though I'm open to hear any suggestions you have to fix this
@@jjjackal1110 hmm I see one potential problem is that you're doing the cryo burst too early so they don't get Bennett buff which is a considerable DPS loss it's also possible you're not swirling pyro in this case either since you're just tapping his skill since he might not infuse it that fast and you might've cleared the element from him total and kinda just doing raw anemo DMG.

Cryo skill > kazuha burst-> Bennett Q(to get rid of the cryo) then immediately after Bennet e(to apply pyro to swirl)-> kazuha E to swirl pyro-> then cryo burst and optionally skill before or after kinda depends if you need the extra particles or not and which cryo you use but after is probably better you can melt roaarias q cast if you cast it first I think? And kaeyas burst takes to long to drain so he can't get the particles slow enough sometimes.
But casting the cryo burst at the end guarentees that there will be cryo applied before diluc hits the field
As much as I hate to shill one of my recent videos has a rotation of this without diluc q first vs the chicken and I'm not even waiting or anything just NA E NA E, now not that you have to watch my videos you can watch someone like pulyn who does it too he has a whole guide video actually (alittle out dated with the yelan stuff on it I think though) where he does it with q at the start.
Though I do have an example of my yelan rotation with the q at the start for fun in my actual most recent video. But again no need to shill already feel gross for it lol sorry just an easy reference rather than words is all.

As for the xingqiu stuff it's possible in your testing you very well did might've worked out a bit differently with the application or something but I'm 99% sure if i copy that with hydro applied to the enemy and Kaz e that I won't swirl pyro. I remember because I was doing a recording of a comparison and had to look up a rotation to swirl both from the diluc discord because I was having trouble lol because I always do the pyro Kaz burst because it's easier and I get to see crazy big xingqiu nukes when I use him.
@@primez1235 Sorry to make you write all that, now that you mention it, I can't remember entirely whether I did use bennetts burst first, to buff rosaria's burst. It's been a while since I recorded my initial footage but what you mentioned absolutely makes sense. If I didn't buff her burst with benny then that was a big mistake on my end, I'm definitely gonna be testing that again. And I know how you feel when it comes to explaining things others and mentioning your own videos. Somethings are long or kind of difficult to explain, so you just recommend them watching a video you made, but you don't mean to advertise your video to them, you're just trying to help them out😂. Once again I really appreciate all your insight and you delving into all these things. I'll defintely retry that team and the techniques to swirl pyro. Thanks again for all this useful info :)
yestarday i was doing some testing on the genshin optimizer, 4CWoF EM EM EM is just slightly lower burgeon damage than 4GD EM EM EM. The difference was about 9-7% depending whether I used Nahida's Q or not. For anyone wondering, the other party members were all from different elements, so i got the complete EM bonus from the GD. From my testing, for a hybrid build, CWoF seems to be better, since the pyro damage decreases significantly with GD. (50CR, 100CD, around 2k attack. These pieces were average pieces)
Interesting, if I'm not mistaken my tests are pretty much what your findings are. Though 4 flowers of lost paradise was the best, it wasn't a big dmg difference from the two 80 em sets , 4 gilded and crimson witch. All of these sets are pretty equal, aside from 4 deepwood memories.
@@jjjackal1110 yeah, 4 FoPL gives slightly higher burgeon damage, though (personally) i'd recommend 4 CWoF because in a burgeon team diluc can still get many vapes, which are significantly stronger with CW than GD or FoPL

You're Welcome :) You should build them in a way that will make their bursts deal high damage. So they should have around 160% energy, with either 4 emblem of severed fate, or two blizzard strayer/2 gladiators with 2 noblesse. If the two can't get their bursts back fast enough, give the two more energy or give one of them a favonious weapon

Your video gave me the idea of giving attention to his EM as well. I don't use Diluc with Bennet since I have Baizhu, Yelan and Raiden on my team but I have the sketch on how to improve his stats thanks to your breakdown. He's C2 to me and the very first 5 star I had with Zhongli so he'll be forever in my team and my husbando 😆
Dang, and I thought EM is useless to him so my Crimson Witch EM artifact is with Klee instead haha. Time to cry in Spanish for farming his artifacts again.....

@jjjackal1110 Thank you! I have the Redhorn Claymore on Diluc since his WGS is still not going to me but I'll do anything just to give Diluc the best options he could have. I'll just replace Raiden with Zhongli and do a Burgeon/Vaporize team for him to use him more efficiently too. I'm a fan of Diluc haha, so I keep watching videos for him when I think I'm missing something in his build T w T

The team you mentioned is the one I'd recommend the most. I've not done any calculations but that's likely his strongest team, or at the very least one of his strongest

I'm a new player and pulled for xiao but got diluc instead. however, apparently that could be the best possible outcome according to what I found on the internet (because xiao probably isn't that good) so i'm looking foward to build diluc. I think I'm gonna aim for xingqiu and pull for yelan in the next banner but I don't have bennet yet. Any recomendations u have for me would be so appreciated haha and also: Who should I get from the night chimes event? I Was thinking to get xingqiu for more constellation or cheongyun since I don't have him and it's cryo.

Xiao is good but as a new player, he probably wouldn't be the best choice since you need specific supports for him which you may not have, like bennett as you mentioned. And I would definitely recommend getting yelan. She's great, even beyond the double hydro team. Since she's like xingqiu, she can be used in a lot of teams which is going to be very useful when you get more characters and advance in the abyss where you use two teams on each side, so she's a great pull overall. For the night of chimes event unless you like chongyun, I wouldn't recommend getting him. I'd say to do as you said and get xingqiu for his constellations. His constellations are really good and make him even more amazing. So you should aim to get him c6. But do be careful when wishing for his constellations, it's actually more difficult to get a 4 star c6 than getting a 5 star since the chances to get the same 4 star repeatedly are low. So I'd recommend to try to get a few constellations for xingqiu when yelan comes out, and leave it at that. But don't force it and keep wishing until you get him c6, you'll be spending a lot of primogems and its good to get other characters' constellations and other 5 stars in the future. Good luck!

Yup, running triple em and an em sword will give you more than 200 em. Which is what you want since that will increase his burgeon damage, which is his main source of damage
can i still use bennett with xingqiu if my bennett is c6? does it break my diluc vape since bennett makes my diluc normal attack infused with pyro?
im still hitting 40k to 60k with diluc elemental skill though. so i dont know what to do
no don't worry you're good. Xingqiu applies a lot of hydro to enemies, so they should be affected by hydro the entire time. He applies more hydro with more constellations but if anything you can double check by looking at the enemies health bar to see if they're constantly affected with hydro. But even so, since you're diluc is still hitting high numbers I highly doubt you're vaping wrong

So I need some advice. I’m trying an overload team consisting of beidou, electric traveler, hu Tao and diluc. I just got diluc now and I want to use him in place of xinqin but he carried me extremely far. What do you think
For that team it would be kind of odd to play both hu tao and diluc in the same team, since they're both dps. You use those teams in the outer world and for fun, but for the abyss itd be best to separate hu tao and diluc into different teams. For diluc to shine in that team, you could have diluc in that team as the main dps, and then switch hu tao for a buffer to diluc

I saw a video about diluc dealing 1m and another one dealing 5.5m dmg ? Is this possible ? I honestly have him c2 and I think he is weak 5 stars please help
No that's not possible, not normally anyway. Those videos will come from whale accounts, so c6 units and r5 weapons. The characters will also have very bad crit ratios. For example, 20% crit rate and like 320 crit damage. These type of builds are not optimal and are called dps, damage per screenshot. Its not at all recommended to play this way, its just meant for fun and to see how high someones can be. Its not used for the abyss or normal play

After watching the video i think that all I need for him is just an em piece and 2 cryo characters to deal better dmg than my vape. I put up an em sands and he dealt 74k on burst vape. Slightly less on the melt team, but I don't have better cryo characters built
You could use one cryo and sucrose instead of two cryo's. Though I still like using double cryo, adding sucrose to the team and swirling pyro, and then after swirling cryo with her burst allows for diluc to deal tons of damage, fairly easily. This is an og melt diluc team that doesn't have much traction but is something I learned recently and is really good
Hi! Another new Diluc main here xD What do you think about Mailed Flower R5? I was using Serpent Spine for month but this weird sword with flowers feels somewhat like Rainslasher, boosts good amount of EM. Though I have to build Diluc again in terms of artifacts. Any thoughts?
The mailed flower is a really good weapon for diluc, but I wouldn't say its good enough to warrant you grinding for new artifacts. If you feel that your diluc is lacking or you already planned to farm for diluc, then I'd recommend using the mailed flower and grind for diluc. If he's already good then there isn't much of a point to grind again to use the mailed flower

I wonder. Can Baizhu work with Burgeon Diluc? I was thinking of that team with Yelan, C2 Nahida, & Baizhu for healing, Dendro resonance for more EM, & maybe shield for the cores.
He absolutely can, and the reasons you mention are correct. But I would separate nahida and baizhu just cause they two together aren't as good as having two hydros in the team. With two hydros you'd have increased dendro core production, so your dmg through burgeon would increase a good amount. With two dendro's your dmg would increase with the increases to reactions and em, but I don't believe as much as having more overall cores (can't 100% confirms since I don't have Baizhu). So maybe play baizhu with diluc, and then play nahida in another team that could use her. But know this is not to say that the team you mentioned is bad or that you can't play it
Honey, I have one of the best Dilucs in game. Entirely f2p c1. He is better than my INSANE Hu Tao. No support required, but vape in necessary in pyro domains.
On ayaka banner i pull 50 times and got ayaka then diluc 💀

Was planning to build him to a 1000 EM for burgeon right now he's at lvl 80 with 600 em, currently doing 18k per burgeon proc, with Yelan + Nahida, any advice to make this team stronger?
Levelling him to 90 will make his burgeon much stronger, and giving him any of the sets I mentioned with as much em as possible. Also if you have c6 diona, try using her with diluc. I'm not sure if there'll be some problems that occur with diona, since there will be cryo and hydro on enemies, but diona will give another 200 em to diluc with her burst which will really help
In your opinion, if yelan, xingqu, and Zhongli are in another party, what Hydro character and flex character would go well with Diluc and Nahida in a Burgeon Team?
First I would say to try to give either yelan or xingqiu to the diluc team since they produce really good results. But if not you could use ayato, mona, kokomi or barbara. I'm pretty sure mona and kokomi will do really well, so I think you could keep yelan and xq in that team. Ayato's a decent choice, his burst is somewhat random so it's not the most consistent in creating cores. And barbara would be used for her skills/normals

For weapons you should use either the sacrificial bow and sword (as u are already), or the favonius sword and bow. For artifacts, it'd be best to give yelan and xingqiu either 4 emblem of severed fate, or 2 noblesse and two heart of depth. Or you could give xingqiu 2 noblesse and two gladiator. And yelan 2 noblesse and 2 tenacity of the milelith

@JJJackal It's a bit better just due to the crit value alone. Still get 40% att bonus so it's like a gravestone, the extra HP is nice for tanking damage. All around a great generalist claymore for anybody that scales off att. I've been hitting way higher than with other weapons.
good to hear, congrats. I'm also pretty curious regarding the new event claymore thats come out. I use an r5 rainslasher on my diluc, and apparently its equivalent if not slighly better than an r5 rainslasher. It's also apparently better than the slasher in melt, which is great since I use the slasher for melt and vape. Might have to start using that sword, even though it looks terrible on diluc

No I highly doubt it, many people that main diluc c6 their bennett for him and they're able to vape just fine. Though I doubt you need to do this if anything, you can animation cancel his normal attacks with his skill, where just as you press the normal attack button, you can use diluc's skill to apply hydro with xingqiu or yelan

Hello I'm a returning player, can I ask if my team build of diluc is good? It consist of diluc main dps, Barbara as my healer, Sub dps for Chongyun and Fischl for support
i'd say it is. Only thing is that with so many elements mixed in the team you might perform some unwanted reaction that might get in the way of vape or freeze, but other than that the team should be good. Plus though the other reactions might get in the way they will still help you so its not too bad of a thing. If you're a player still in early game then continue with the team, if endgame go for a more traditional diluc team

@@jeo-crizizzackperdio4283 glad to help, yes replacing barbara with those two will be a good change. Only thing is that chongyun doesn't apply much cryo for diluc to constantly melt. So try to use sucrose's burst after chongyun's, so her's will absorb cryo and allow for diluc to melt easier

Ya I would play her. I don't have mona myself so I'm not sure how the team would work exactly, but I'm sure the team would work and be quite good
use yelan while doing diluc E then do mona burst before doing diluc burst at the end of your rotation
Is C4 viable in a rotation, I don't know if using more attacks to get the effect is worth it
I've just looked into it and I would say it is. 40% is big, yet you do have slightly change your attack pattern. I'm not sure if its a mistranslation of the constellation, but of those that also have c4, they're saying you should normal attack twice to optimally make use of the dmg increase. But perhaps its best to try both techniques, the normal attacking twice and his skill vs attacking once and his skill, to see which feels better and to see if the damage increase is even worth it

I'd say your only option is then to play mona and diluc together. I'm not sure how well they would work together, unfortunately, I don't have mona. But if anything if they don't work, you can wish for xingqiu when he appears on a banner, which should be soon since he hasn't appeared on a banner for a while
Would c6 Diona be a good alternative or is Zhongli's universal shred better for Dendro cores? Resistant shred Vs 1000 EM....
I just checked and zhongli's shred is better for the dendro cores. His shred is also really good for nahida and xingqiu's dmg, so zhongli's shred is the all around best in comparison to diona's 200 em. Though she can still be a good alternative to zhongli if you cant use him
