I have a Barbie mug from 1995 that says Accessories are Necessities. So, yes, I do have a daily, long-time mug-friend too. ;) So excited for your next chapter. As a 30-year entrepreneur/solopreneur, I might suggest you be really gentle with yourself with the hangers, etc. and past decisions. Those decisions were good at that time and they might come back again. It's time for a new phase!! Woohoo!!
I was obsessed with Gabriel Garcia Márquez when I was in my 20's, I've read them in Portuguese, probably many things get lost in the translation, but I remember it was so so good.
i am from brazil and, just like you are proud of having a Chilean writter been read abroad, i am super proud of Angélica Freitas been translated and read for other people. i actually am from the same city as her, i knew her, did a workshop about poetry with her and she is SUPER nice, really. i love to see you reading a ~~neighbor of mine, feels like we are close, that we could sit on a cafe and read poetry, talk about it

I think mugs are comfort in the studio! I now have a brass rail in my studio so I can adore them from afar and pick one to suite my mood 😂❤

"let's just draw" -- honestly this is what I've been telling myself for the past little handful of moons. I think it's easy to overcomplicate things, especially when there's so many dreams floating around my brain n' heart! I wanna find the charm in simplicity and settle more into the little things that make life magic. I've always drawn since I was wee, it's always been a really healing space for me, so I'm gonna reconnect with that and delve into drawing daily cause I love it!

I also was never really a reader, but always romanticized reading and was drawn to readers. Around the beginning of the pandemic, I started getting into audiobooks while I was working nights to social distance, since I was by myself and it was too quiet in the lab. Now I'm addicted, LOL! Regular books, ebooks, audiobooks, give me them all 🤓

I love that you talk more about books and reading! Reading is so beneficial to us, and is one of my favorite things. I have always been a reader but the last few years I have gone nuts and read a LOT more haha. It definitely becomes a huge part of your identity at some point.

I really admire the way you work and get things done throughout the day, it makes me want to be more organised and productive and motivated to get my space to be how I want it. I only have my bedroom to work from and it is very cramped so it's hard to work in there. I am slowly getting things moved around though :)

Hi Fran, I recently finished Chilean Poet and this book is already in my top books of the year! Hopefully you will like it too. I totally understand you when you talk about reading in your mother tongue because otherwise you miss things, especially that Latin Literature has really poor English translations and besides what's he point to read books in translations when you can in original language, I wish I could read comfortable Spanish books but for now I read them in Polish and luckily for me they are really good translations.

I know that there has been a switch from artist to author (yay Fran) so I was wondering if Fran is still as active on Patreon as she was a few years ago. I used to subscribe but had to adjust finances for a while but now I want to get back on again. I just miss Fran and her life…the extra videos and newsletter was so great to follow.
