Best thing about summer: my work slows down so I can take it easy, I usually plan trips during the summer. Worst thing: I live in Florida which is very much akin to hell during the summer.

My favorite part of summer is music, not being in art school, and spending time with my partner-oh, and all the animals. My least favorite part is the heat because I have pots😅

no - saying the heat this year is the worst part of summer is not basic... it's so hot 🥵 my favorite part (and one you captured so well here) is having the spare time to hang out with friends and family. Thank you for sharing your relationships w/us. Your friends, and the relationship you have with them, is so great. The sepia tone you have over all these clips is chefs kiss. Makes it extra nostalgic-feeling.

Favorite thing: It’s simpler. My kids aren’t in sports or anything, so much less running around to all the things. Also love all the sun time.

I loved watching this video. Bond Falls is like 30 mins from my home town in Northern Wisconsin and I haven't been in years. I almost suggested you go there in your instagram stories, but didn't think you guys would go that far west. So glad you seemed to love it. Also, The Paudling Light! That use to scare the shit out of my friends and I when we were teens! So funny to see its still a thing.
Favourite thing about summer: the sunsets, as you captured so wonderfully in this video. I have a bunch of playlists for the seasons and I specifically called the summer one "summer sunsets" for that reason.
Least favourite thing: Hayfever and too much heat. I love summer but sometimes it hurts me!
Loved this vlog, love seeing your travel footage and friends just hanging out together. Loved seeing the areas too, being from England I kind of get my own different kinds of wildlife and green spaces, so it's really nice to see what's the same and what's different.
Loved the vlog! You guys picked the perfect space to stay in with all the cute farm animals. Chickens are fine, it's the ducks that get aggressive and moody (lived on a farm in Indiana). I'm glad to see you all taking a break from the reno and becoming one with nature.

We have a lot of mosquitos here in Beijing. Once I travelled to Los Angels one summer, there was NO mosquito at all, then I thought the whole US does not have mosquito.
