I give you so much cred diving into launching your own shop (working FT as an engineer, and dancing and RUclips). Get after it!! I always get caught up in actually ordering everything and the legal side of things because my engineer brain wants it all “done right” and is crunching too many numbers 😂
When you first start, at least it’s organized as it grows, you’ll see how and what you need. I organized my things and then as the orders came, I saw what it was that I needed and where I needed them to be for easier packaging. It’s all trial and error. Proud of you!

I understand paperwork and legalese is crazy confusing. You might want to see if your local library has a small business area. Some localities run classes and others offer one on one advice specific to your city/state. I definitely stayed to the end and was sorting my washi tape (how did I acquire so much?!) and I can’t wait to pick up one of the evil goose stickers when you do launch ❤
I just found your channel recently and I'm so happy to find another dancer/artist!!! I used to dance/train in a studio for years before covid and I totally feel how the two could clash, I decided to go with art at the end but huge props to you for juggling the two - it's real tough. For years I´ve been struggling to practice my skills so I stop feeling that I´m not good enough, to just start and have the discipline to do stuff and not end up on my bed watching Netflix. how interesting! actually, i think that the turqoise/white box you got comes from norway, since "munnbind" means "face mask" in norwegian, as in the masks we wore under the pandemic. i suppose the box was originally made for masks, but it seems to work just as well for the labels :D

I don't know how different it is where you are but in the UK you don't have to start a business right away you can be self employed and be 'trading as'
