Blessed be I set up a chicken and goat pen right at the end of September. I was concerned at first that they weren't breeding or sitting on eggs, but they're at it, and my meat coffers runneth over
Haven't played in ages until the last few days. I'm in September now but don't think I'm doing animal husbandrybuntil after first winter. Never tried that befpre so thanks for the info
big horns and sows are easy to deal with, but chickens are scaredy cats and if you approach them while they are sitting on the eggs they will stop the incubation process...
is animal husbandry really useful ? I got like 20 hours on my new game and already got quite a lot of bushes, fruit trees and crops, and idk if it is worth investing time and food on them (I captured 6 of them, 2 males and 4 females)
I don't think it's useful, one basic field of crops will supply you with unlimited food eventually. The only time animal husbandry is useful is if you want to get milk and maybe meat to keep all your stats to the maximum and have max health. Or if you've done everything, but this and you need to find more fun xD
@@luxterna1106 nice xD I'd keep the ewes for the milk, even thought it's a nightmare to milk them. Pigs are better to farm fat, but if there's nothing to choose from, then yeah, screw those ewes
Hope they keep adding more and more wildlife to the game. And more enemy variety.

Every single one of those little cuts was gold! 🤣
Great guide BTW!
Yes awesome.
Ah just in time i might survive my first winter
Considering the amount of food you need for the animals, you might not survive this winter😂
There is always grass
@@doop4wow540 That's true xD
The Genders one got me so good. You bought my sub.
Thanks😅
