Could be cool to make an “island” that shoots out from the middle of where both tanks meet so itll look like its one scape
Was thinking about a continuation of the aquascape, too.
The "island" is a nice idea imho
I love these ideas!
One of my future goals is to make two tanks look like one...and put contrasting colors of fish for each tank
@@zoltan303stackin
Would you put a few fish with a similar colour in the other tank?
IMHO it would be a cool thing to do, a bit like how the white and black of the ying yang symbol contains its opposite.
It would ease the flow of the gaze across the two tanks.
@@pencilpauli9442 yeah like have one tank of orange and red and the other tank blue and black...or the same kinda fish but different types and put one type in each
Very cool looking tanks. I'd love to see how you set the lights for a scape or if you leave them alone as they're not really adjustable.
Killifish are pretty cool Nanos, now that you have a lid you could properly keep them. I got a pair of Blue lyretail Killi's last week and they're awesome. already breeding as well
I like the new tanks! Definitely thin you should do a fresh and saltwater side by side. There are some really cool macros that can really make a display pop with color! And the best part you can use regular planted tank lights instead of reef spectrum lights for (most) macro algae species. There are a few that definitely require the blue spectrum seen in reef lights in order to grow to their full potential but generally a lot of the macros do amazing under full spectrum. Either way I know you'll make something fantastic
Ant wait to see the new setup’s and too see your reef tank
seawater would be very nice
Blackwater lots of organic mateer
Imo I dont like the style line tanks with that light lid and black silicone. But if you like them then its good for you.
I'd love to see an old-school "dutch style" in one of these! Should look good with the black trim and frame.
Im not really sure what you should do with these, but i am sure the end results will be fantastic.
Hmm not such a fan of the black around the top of the glass
Please make a dirted tank.
Çok güzel bilgilendirici bir kurulum ve montaj oldu, tatlı su ve tuzlu su akvaryumu fikrin çok güzel
curios how you will scape this ; I discovered as I get more experienced in aquascaping it's quite hard to maintain this type of aquarium, with the in/out slots at the back I find it hard to get the flow across the tank, so I need to put the pipes on the sides and that makes the lid pointless , on my next on will go for a rimless
Imo, the style line tanks just look less “Aquascape-y” but maybe thats just my opinion
I was looking at them in the store last week and I must say that the quality of the finish and the quality of the lid really impressed me.
Very nice tanks!
maybe try some keyhole cichlids? the personality of these fish is amazing also they are really beautiful, or maybe some green swordtails aswell!
I hope that u will have a lot of fun with your new tanks - they are so nice! enjoy it and take care of yourself. Greetings from Poland im waitng for next video😎
Absolutely fantastic! Looking forward to seeing what amazing creation you produce.
Tanks with lids are the best. The only reason they aren't popular is that so far producers haven't proposed minimalistic design but these tanks in your video surely do look esthetic. I think they are great ❤
Add aquarium. Dont just replace anything at anytime.
You make some of aquarium very nice. Afterward you just replace this tank... I think you just destroy some beautiful tank...
Hello.
This teasing works...😁
Why not going for a sort of continuity
Imagining the border of à river on left side... scaper way.
And the bottom of the same river
In a biotope way.
I think it would be very instructive and beautiful
Hey MJ! I've been watching your vids for about 2 years, and i really think you'd enjoy some tiger barbs in a biotope aquascape! They're great for tall tanks! Cheers from Barcelona.
The first with dark rocks and substrate with red and dark plants.
The other very similar scape, but with lighter rocks and sand with bright green plants.
You are really very good and with your videos I learned many things. So thank you. I also really like this oase even if I would have preferred that the cabinet was higher. For example, the Oase 75 is much higher and I really like it. For this aquarium I would like to see it in Natural Style. I love them. Simply to what you made: Myanmar biotope. Really spectacular. So, wait for your next video. Thank you again. Greetings from Italy and sorry everyone for my English ...
دمت گرم خیلی جالب به نظر میان میدونم که قراره خیلی قشنگ و خفن بشن ❤️🔥😍
heyy @MJ Aquascaping few days ago i was using ChatGPT and came across a bizarre topic and wanted to know more about whether plausible or not but couldn't find solid proof about the concept suspence aside the topic is "is injecting liquid ferts into an inert substrate(sand preferrably) works or is it waste of resources?
Ok this might be a little different but what about a black water aquarium with a group of 40-60 chili rasboras, they should color up amazingly in such a big school and wil absolutely stand out, they'll look amazing with the black rims, green valisneria and loads of wood, bucephelandra and leafs. Style with any other fish you like that likes the softer water or go full on Asia
In one minute I both related hard (catching baby shrimp out of the totem down tank is the last step I’m saving for tomorrow) AND gave me hope! I really want pea puffers but they would have to live with wilds shrimp and panda corys.
I bet the Aqua illumination blade would fit in between your aquarium and lid 10:05 And it’s waterproof 60 something
Two identical tanks makes me want to see an experiment. Might make for boring videos to have identical tanks, comparing a control, but it's just what comes to mind.
You should definitely send them to Portugal. I'll give you the address.
Not really a fan of the dimensions of the tanks but I'm sure you will do something awesome with the scape.
I LOVE these style of aquariums. I'm so glad more and more people are using them now a days. So many benifits over a rimless aquarium. Thanks again for the free high quality content! 🙏🙏
can you name a few benefits?
@@asd2u2004 evaporation and fish jumping out are the biggest ones for me. Also they just look better ( in my opinion ) ❤️
it helps hold the heat in so your heater doesn’t have to work so hard costing you money!
How about fish that are notorious jumpers or something you just couldn’t keep without a lid?
I don't know if this is in any way practical or worth it due to power costs, but I would somehow really love to have livestreams of a tank of yours, so one could have a nice view while studying, working etc. if i don't need my second monitor. Have you ever thought of that?
I would love to see two different scapes: sand style scape with brown rocks and red/bordeaux coloured plants and sunken ship layout in the other tank. Moss should make that lovely and plants of your own choosing.
What would make it totally awesome is that the two tanks should get connected with a clear tube that could make the fish swim from one tank to another. I don't know if this would be possible with the perimeters and flow tho...
The tanks look realy good! Why not making an Asian Biotope next to a South American one! That should look nice, don't you thnik?
heck yes to the low tech biotope! maybe a long term tank, low budget, maybe gather some materials yourself!
I dont think NA can buy these tanks! Normally I love the clean look of the rimless, but these oase rim and hood look super sleak.
How about twin scapes: Same-ish hardscape geometry but one is a red plants tank.
Only hardscape and fishes... one saltwater other freshwater.
Ok, two tanks with lids, dark glass and no depth.
Meh 😒
Perhaps some more salt water experimentation would be the most appropriate use of these tanks.
Seahorses would be incredible.
Finally, somebody with rimmed tanks and lids! Rimless tanks look nice in ultra modern settings. However, the high evaporation rates drive me nuts and they look unfinished.
Im doing terible😂 its foggy in the bay area staying home watching youtubes😊
i have the same setup with 2 20l i have one simple iwagumi and one colorful island it looks nice next to each other. It would be nice to see 2 triangular scape with the tips connecting that looks like a valley. Contentwise it sucks 😅
A salt water macroalgae continuous scape would be very cool.
Because these aren't scaper tanks a further exploration of saltwater macroalgae could be a very exciting option.
The lids will definitely help with evaporation and the twin tanks could be used to for a single composition across the pair.
You could even include driftwood cut to work across both tanks. So few people use wood in salt water aquariums but there is no reason why this can not be done. A large piece of wood angled to flow across the full width of the pair would look amazing.
Maybe even get some seahorses!
maybe a red planted tank with light coloured hardscape and a green planted tank with dark hardscape to contrast each other
Shell dwellers. Why? For the behaviour. Trust me you’ll love them
You could do a brackish water setup with figure 8 puffers they sold them at heems a little while ago i put them together with my dwarf puffers and since they are mature they like a little brackish water it actually stimulates breeding
Can we get some led upgrade videos on these tanks please 🤞it’s hard to find a decent LEDs for a rimmed tank
I've really come to appreciate your aquarium style. Btw, my name is Marc, and I am also a chef. Great hobby to un wind. Take care
@Chef Marc Hopkins, this is a lifestyle!!! I'm sure that you will agree , and for MJ, it's one hell of a great way to earn a salary.
" Order up " ☯️
maybe some jumpers, since they have a lid. killifish or betta come to mind
Let's go for a Diptychs Aquarium !
I would make a nature style aquascape in one of them using natural Hardscape that you can find in the nature and see how it develops.
I don't like those black painted tanks. They look so ugly.
Mark,
I have a question for you in regards to the tank and the front of your local fish store. What is that beautiful purple plant on the left of their tank?
Can u please make a video of how to make neat zero silicone side's aquarium
You could stick them together as showing as one scape. An image starting from the first tank that continues to the second tank
Really good for a betta sorority tank, maybe like 9 females should be fine
I’d love to see your take on a tanganyikan cichlid tank in one of these there are a few species that would work but shell dwellers are top of that list
What about a rocky river bottom kind of scape for both tanks. One is where the river starts and the other where it gets more sandy
I'll never buy or use even if it's free a pressed wood aquarium stand again lol
I think that you should go for two opposites tanks: one more woody and the other more rocky, maybe one with plants and the other without plants or even setting up two diffent biotopes inspired
So cool one fresh and 1 salt water my suggestion for what it's worth
One Dutch style and another reefs style would be cool 👌
Maby do something with a lot of mangrove like wood out the top and naking it a biotope
Tanks with lids are not my cup of tea but good on you ❤️
You need to seal those open plugs lol, seems like a ticking timebomb.
Brackish or saltwater would be nice
Make two nature- aquarium! No scape!
The best inspiration comes from the heart so act as if you are going to do something specific. 🎬👍😎
Can you make one big echinodorus tank?
Baby shrimp are the Baine of my life mate 😅everytime I’m trying to rescape it just so happens to be the day all the female shrimp pop eggs out 😂
yay another video. i love new tank set up videos!
Maybe iwagumi, and amazonas biotop style.
Can you make all green and all red tanks sir. I would like to see it soon
Would love to see a hatchet fish since you have a lid. :)
you must do a reef ............???????????🤪
Much better to have bigger tanks to create nice new scape. Enjoy.😊
Can’t wait to see what you come up with-NZ
Bro where did you get that big cabinet?
Why can you try again iwagumi bro..
Really wish we could get these in the US
The nice thing about those lids is you won’t get all the light spillage into the room.
Any updates on the salt water tank??
Hi MJ , I’ve just got the styleline 125 myself. I’m using a biomaster thermo 650 with aquario flow pipes and the Twinstar 600EA ( it just fits under the glass lid ). I’ve just finished a wet test for all the equipment.
The dimensions have been a bit worrying for me , so looking forward to seeing what arrangement you do in the aquarium. The band around the bottom is quite deep.
All the best,
Mark
Can't believe I bought a new light for this tank based purely on this comment. The Twinstar 600 doesn't fit at all! It's nowhere near long enough! How did you manage this?
you can give one away to me 😉
Je kan er eentje aan mij geven🤩
I would love to see a salt and a fresh water
Genuinely can't wait to see how these turns out! Keep it up man love what you do!
Nice Outdoor Ponds 😁
Please don’t do salt water 😢
Can these accommodate glass lily pipes without modifying the lid and losing guarantee?
Not sure yet, but I'm going to try it
Missed opportunity for dennerle. What brand was the tank on right side?
Strideways
one fresh one salt 👌
Would still love to see a river style with rainbow shiners. Or saltwater 😊
I think this might be a little too small for rainbow shiners... they are amazing fish though... I would also love to see a river style
@@Smiley-fw9nzah yes you're probably right. It's what I wanted for the big shallow lol
River style !!!!
Cliff style
blackwater
Noice 😙👌🏼
When will these two aquariums be launched?
