Thanks Mike. Love your videos. I’ve learned a lot watching. I have a live scope and can’t do what you do. You make it look easy. Might be you have a skill that I’ve not developed yet. I’ve yet to have fish jump in the boat because I have a live scope fish finder. Keep them coming!

People don’t necessarily hate it for general fishing, only in ‘fishing’ competitions.

75 years ago when Evinrude made the outboard the rowboaters made a bunch of noise about that being cheating too!!! Hahaha

I know nothing about live scopes. How much do you have to spend to get one that works well. Id like to go cheap but i want something that will help us find fish. Any recommendations?

@@jasonk876 they come in all price ranges. I started out with the cheapest 9 “ on the market. It worked great and I caught fish. I move up from there.

Why are you using a baitcaster for jigging crappie? It seems awkward watching you fish with it. I'm just curious to your reasoning...thanks

@@shaneroberts9264 reel handle is on the right. Line tangles less in the handle than with a spinning reel the way I fish. I pull line out with my left hand.

    • @MikeBakerVideos

There are many different types. Some people drive wooden stakes in the mud in a group. Some others attach upright wooden stakes to wooden pallets, weight them down, and throw them in the lake.

    • @jonn6427

I see live scope as poaching . Simple because a person can target a fish until it'll bite. It's like using a drone to hunt deer. It's illegal as ffs should be illegal. I like your trolling vids. But FFS turns me off . Laws need to be adopted for this technology so it doesn't wipe out the fish. When I go fishing I don't care if I don't catch a fish or if I catch a couple of them. At least there will be fish left for the next person.
