  • Let's use the sub oscillator quirk on the ob-6 from ‪@SequentialLLC‬ to make an amazing pad ! I will also use the ‪@strymon‬ BigSky Mx for more ambience !

Oooooooo very cool 😎! Thank you Yuki for this amazing presentation. Sounds so tranquil and soothing. Exactly what the world needs right now and beyond 😌. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.

Lovely patch, especially with the BigSky MX (which will likely be my next pedal purchase!). I am glad you got a good OB-6. It’s funny, I rarely use resonance on my other synths, EXCEPT the OB-6. It has the best filter for resonance ever. You’re rapidly becoming my favorite synth RUclipsr.

I love the OB6 oscillators. They have this slight vibrato to them that makes detuning sound amazing.

Such a fine sounding unit in your hands 😊

It’s a bit hard to follow when knobs are being turned while the hand is in front of the display, hiding it from the camera. Good tip otherwise. The sound of the OB-6 is amazing, 😊. I love it.

Great video! Now you have the OB6 again, how about a head to head with the Trigon??

For now, i got three hardware synths: OB-6, Prophet-6 and Yamaha Montage M7. I do love them. My wife has a Korg Kronos 2 LS 88, which is great… but it is different.

      Which one is your favourite?

@@dans5529 i use them three as one, mostly. But even if have to choose one - i am not sure, if one is favourite. OB-6 is vintageous, it sounds much different, than new ones. Prophet-6 is a fresh one, but i have chosen it over 5 or 6 desktop/keyboard Prophet-6’s. Yamaha? 400 voices can’t be bad!

I like the ob-6 but the teo-5 is nice too but the teo-5 only has 5 voices. It would have been awesome if they made the new teo-5 a 6 voice.

I’m assuming the take 5 and teo5 are 5 voice for market segmentation.

I was set on the Peak but now the Behringer UBXa D has got me thinking... do you think one has an edge over the other?

    • @YukiTheSynthDragon

Get a peak. You loose voices but you don’t fund a shitty company and you get a product that will actually function as intended with the peak. Plus while you don’t get as many voices you get a wildly more versatile synth with the peak.

    • @YukiTheSynthDragon
      @YukiTheSynthDragon  Месяц назад +1

Should also reinforce that the peak still has the best sounding effects on a synth to date. That reverb is hard to match. Also the chorus is impressive. The delay is good but it’s hard to make a bad delay imo.

@@gdrdm Yuki is right abt the PEAK in general, the FX are the best I have ever come across in a synth, easy to use and integrated with ease of use.
The way I see it is the FX engine alone is worth 50% asking of the PEAK, so you really do get great value when you invest in one.
Almost bought a Summit and it's just too big for my workflow, I like smaller modules that give me better flexibility in curating my textures.
PEAK's interface is brilliant, betters my REV 2.
I also almost bought a 2nd PEAK but that money is going to a UDO S6 module.
I have the ability to buy a Polybrute, but the FX make that sound mushy, where as the PEAK has a ballsy character. I am not convince the PB or PB12 does bass duties well, but the PEAK excels in them.
I am sure what ever you get, you will enjoy.
