@@sebg2086 watch his cover of summer of 69, he chooses when to turn it on and when not to. He has to turn it on for some of the higher stuff (sounds just like his old voice) and does it masterfully in that cover
2000s rock is so underrated. Never once did Nickleback come on the radio and I changed the station. Loved it when it was new in 2001 and love it in 2024.

@@enj0i I didn't get it either, I looked the other day at reasons why Nickelback is hated. And I found that they were signed by Roadrunner Records, and that company is supposed to only sign metal bands. Also that they do not have a specific genre in rock, They say that they release songs with the genre that is in fashion (which is not true)... I like this group and no one will change it, Nickelback wrote "How you Remind me" in just 45 minutes - 1 hour or time, as it came off from Chad's mind.

His voice just keeps getting better. I never hopped on the hate bandwagon either, I’ve always loved Nickelback. I can play all of the songs on Silver Side Up on bass. I’ll never forget being in 4th grade when this song came out. It was a banger then and it still is today.
I always liked this song and Chad's voice is as great as ever.
Nickleback is one of the best rock bands ever. There will always be haters regardless.

The sings responsible for getting me into rock music. I was probably about 7 when this came out. All the usual stuff was on the radio and I was in the car with my older cousin driving. She was flicking through the radio stations and flicked past this song and I got her to change it back. Instantly connected with it!

@@NirvanaNimbus had vocal chord surgery in 2015. Voice changed a little bit with so said surgery. Compare this to his first performances after surgery in 2017 and this is way better.

@@tomg3797 sexual lyrics can be great too. They’re written to be memorable, which they are. Same goes for AC/DC. Bon Scott was one of the best lyricists of all time and most of his songs were about sex. Plus, Nickelback have many songs with great lyrics that aren’t about sex too, like Too Bad, Just to Get High, etc.
I like Nickelback. Some people hate Chad about his interviews, but the band is awesome.
