Thanks that is the best tutorial I have found so far the trick about the end point is the one I have been looking for I had blue lines going everywhere. Thanks for a clear and easy to follow instructions.
For a 52 year old who's had Komoot for about a year and never managed to plan a route successfully, this was very helpful indeed. Many thanks. Also added interest as I live and work close to Stoney Middleton! 😁
Great stuff. I'm a big fan of Komoot (and I even appear on your video when you're planning the section down from the Riley Graves). Great tutorial and skills in the editing too, keep riding and recording . 👍
This is an excellent tutorial. I usually use strava for my cycle route planning but I will definitely have a look at Kamoot to use as a change. Thankyou very much for explaining it.
Really good tutorial. I can't wait to get my new gravel bike so I can try out this app. When I was a kid on my bmx it was all trial and error to find routes, nowadays you kids have all these technologies, it's pretty awesome I must say.
1st time viewer. I just got Komoot. Was thinking of Strava. So I am wondering, if a person is traveling, runs into some other bicyclists, and hears of an interesting route, you can map your newfound route with Komoot. That much seems clear. Question- when you return to your hotel that evening to map the new route, it appears that you had better have brought your computer. Am I right?
Excellent tutorial- I was also struggling with the ‘include on route v set as end point ‘. Now you’ve been using Komoot for longer, do you still use this method, or have you found a better way of plotting the route when you approach a section you’ve already mapped . Please keep producing these great tutorials 👍🏻👍🏻
Brilliant. I'm kind of new to GPS on bikes do you think Komoot is better than Strava or Trailforks for planning MTB rides? Do you upload it to a Garmin Edge GPS? Thanks!
Hi, thank you. Sorry I've not used Strava or Trailforks yet. I upload the ride to my phone as the rides I've done are fairly short. When I go longer I'll use my dads Garmin Edge.
Thank you for watching the video. If you click on the waypoint marked B a box will come up with two options : Round trip and Remove. Click on remove and it will delete the section to the previous waypoint. If you need any more help let me know. :)

Hi Pete, thank you. I've not used it much recently but that's still the way I do it.

A lot of RUclipsrs could learn a thing or two from you!
Thank you, always looking to improve :)
One question. how can you delete the last section that you added to a route, so you can go a different direction. thanks in advance.
