I have a TLR7 SUB SIG that I bought when I got my 365XL, it fit fine with no issues. While I was searching for holsters I bought the Icarus EVO Frame and ordered a holster from Shapeshifter Concealment as he makes them specific for that setup. Well when I got the holster it was super hard to holster and really hard to draw. Well I reached out and Brad, the owner immediately told me that I need the 1913 TLR7 SUB as the Sig model is not setup for that. He said to contact Streamlight and ask for the 1913 adapter parts and they should send them out. Well they did, free of charge and once I swapped them out, the holster fits perfect. Streamlight was aware of the issue and they did this as a one off for me. Oh and if you or anyone out there is running a 1913 rail I used the #4 key. Hope this helps

@@ldope3904 yeah I just carefully took it apart and made note of the way the parts go back together. Take your time, it’s not too hard just make sure to remember how the parts go. Take a couple pictures too for reference. Good luck
I just took one of the included adapter plates with the TLR-7A and removed a bit of material until it fit flush against the trigger guard. Easy to do. Just sneak up on it.
Thanks man. What holster are you using with that setup? A lot of holster makers are molding their holsters with key number 5. I wonder how far off the Tac dev key is compared to the #5 key.
I found one that fit tight and put them at the right spot for me. There are 2 that are tight and 2 that are thin for u to slide it. If u tighten the rail it's not supposed to move. Or u can use something to build up the key. Just some options for us poor guys that don't want to spend the 12. But again I found one that put the button in the perfect spot.
I just finished building a Macro, now I am waiting for The TLR-8 Sub G which has the Green Laser plus 1000 Lumens. It was $238.00 I am going to put a Romeo Zero Optics. This one has a Wilson Combat Green Grip Module, Wilson Combat just released a week ago. I ordered a Blackhawk IWB Appendix Carry, then I Carry in a Chest Rig with a Regular 365 but that Also has the Wilson Grip Module. I did this because of the 17- Plus Mags, also installed the Sig brand Flared Mag Well. I grew up in K-Town in Marble city. Our Church and Cemetery is Headricks Chapel. My Cousin Has the Old Property there in the valley called Abbott’s. Hollar, My Step Pap paw Was a Cotter and he and my Grandmother Lived back in Cotters Hollow until she gave him a Ultimatum to Either Quit Making Liquor or She was Leaving him and moving back to Knoxville. My family names are Abbott, Godfrey, Hembree, Brewer, Brickey. From Both my Papaw and Grand Mother side. All my Family are Primitive Baptist. I live in Michigan now, I met my Soul mate (39) Years ago while up here. But we come back and forth to Knoxville, I lost my Youngest Brother a Year ago, he live over by Crossville. My Oldest Brother Lives in Sparta, Tennessee. If I am correct about the Street it is the Road that runs from 321 behinds everything on the West side of Pigeon Forge. Your carport along with those houses look exactly like the ones on that Road. I could be wrong UTV I am close if not on point. Lolll weird isnt it. But That’s What I do now. I retired from a Retirement here in Michigan after 23 Years. So when my wife’s is ready to stop working then we are going toTravel for a spell then probably move Down There over around Powell area.

So I used the original inserts for the sub on the macro and there is no play at all. I ordered the suggested insert and it was not needed. Also I do not like having the buttons past the trigger guard. I use my forward grip, left thumb, to press the light switch. So having it too far back doesn’t work well for me.
does anybody know where i can find the 1913 rail pieces for the tlr7 sub? mine came with the sig rails and the key that came with it doesn’t align with my rails

There was a booklet of instructions with a small piece of paper inserted that listed which of the supplied set of keys fit which pistol. Put in the key for your model and you are good to go...
This pistol was not made yet when they produced the lights. No key fit the pic rail on this pistol correctly. That is why the company made this one specifically for the X Macro.
I tried to put the flashlight and the insert on my x macro and it's still offset it won't tighten down without those little tiny metal things that wrap around the spring popping out.its slanted and idk what else to do.no trouble when i had a glock but idk why streamlight wernt smart enough to fix this
I just ordered this light , the tactical dev part. But I also have a holster ordered from anr that's for this gun and light. Will this tactical dev part effect the way the gun fits the holster ?
The biggest difference is the footprint is a little smaller on the Sub. Both have the same lumens and use the same battery. What it comes down to is what company holster you want to use and what they offer that fits what light. The holster I wanted to use they offered one for the sub so I bought a sub.

@@gearrunner I ended up trying it and it fits on my wilson combat p320 x compact. It came with the rail key that fit correctly. Not sure if they updated the mounting inserts, but it worked for me.
As a lifelong Surefire customer I bought the TLR 7 sub… Light is easily discharges negligently, Thumb screw broke trying to get the wiggle out Chinese made affordable option that as you see here needs altering

I have my macro was going to order the trl7 1913. Just hadn’t found the right holster yet, I’d be interested for any suggestions. I usually use las concealment, I recently tried werkz, I’m always open for suggestion
The tlr 7a fits this gun well with the #3 1913 key for me honestly. I went with the 7a because the holster companies I use made them with the A and not the sub.
Bingo. I just bought both to see which I liked better. The #3 fits perfectly and I find the sub just doesn’t feel and look to fit as good in any way compared to the 7a
@@jaime7166 I have a sidecar with a tourniquet attachment, and a JX tactical holster with an Ulti clip. I had to modify that one. Remove a lot of material and add a concealment wing to it so I wouldn’t suggest that one
I wish I watched this before purchasing the sub for my macro with the Trex holster. To my surprise after waiting several months and already purchasing the holster light and red dot I had the Ah-oh moment realizing the sub doesn’t not fit. My fault I assumed the TLR and A holsters would work with the sub…..nope
I like my BALDR Mini better. No need for extra 3rd party parts and sits flush with the barrel with more lumens (600) and a green laser if you want to use that (I don't), Werkz Light-Bearing holsters makes a holster for the combo too.

Luckily for the x macro I used #5 and it fits just as close, I had to tighten it with flathead. No play or anything. Had to switch the right button to the low push button to have my trigger finger not hit it.

Yea, I have several of those and they do not fit the X Macro. The X Macro has a picatinny rail and the normal P365 doesn’t even have slots under the dust cover. You should probably do some research before you comment.

I have the tlr7A for my xmacro and I used the universal key2 fits perfect no gap or anything.
if you buy the sig light by mistake you can still use it on the 1913..just crank it down tighter it will stay

I’m confused….streamlight makes one for the SIG but instead you want to order the 1913 for the SIG? Is that because the 1913 fits better?
Normal Sig P365 pistols have one slot rails like Glocks. The X Macro has a picatinny rail so they don’t fit.
Question, does the TLR-8G fit the Macro or do you like the TLR-7 Sub better for this personal carry?
I’m not sure about the 8, I don’t own one to check. I’ve never been a big fan of lasers.

Wonder if this company makes a similar block for the TLR1-HL I noticed a bit of a gap between the back of the light and the trigger guard of my P320.

You will, the p365xl light doesn’t have the crossbar like the macro uses.
Do you think this insert key will work on the Icarus Precision xl grip module? It has a pic rail like the macro so just wondering. I assume it would.

Tactical Development creates a specific key for the TLR7 Sub with zero play. (TLR7/8 Sub 1913 Key for P365 XMacro)
it looks like the TacDev insert and the #4 insert seat it in the same position without the play....

What's the point if when tightened, it will have no play.
A piece of tooth pick fit in there with one of the supplied keys would have solved the issue.
Ugh the dam rail insert is sold out😞 been waiting a week so far
Luckily for the x macro I used #5 and it fits just as close, I had to tighten it with flathead. No play or anything. Had to switch the right button to the low push button to have my trigger finger not hit it.

My brother and I watched your video and when i saw your background and heard your accent I thought you lived near my grandparents in Tennessee where i have some family. THEN you said you live in Tennessee so my brother and I’s mind was blown. I live in Memphis(shit-hole) but like i said previously i have family in Tennessee (Union City/ Troy). I understand for privacy reasons for you not to tell me where exactly you live but i gotta know am i close?

Call stream light customer service! They will send you the 1913 clamp rail for your tlr 7 Sig sub! And it’s free! I got mine after a week!

They make one for sig rails my guy. It's the one that says Sig on the side of it.
Yea, I have several of those and they do not fit the X Macro. The X Macro has a picatinny rail and the normal P365 doesn’t even have slots under the dust cover. You should probably do some research before you comment.

What holsters have you found that fit the xmacro with TLR 7sub specifically ?
I know celtic holsters does. I am planning on buying the xmacro tacops so I have already scouted out a light bearing holster.
