I came across these ideas while reading Jung seventeen years ago. I summarise it as "you are the greatest limitation in your life". The challenge is to stop making excuses for failure, and that is an ongoing process, to a greater or lesser degree. I built a business from nothing that turned over almost $750,000 at its peak, and a large component of that was changing my self defeating attitude.
Thank you man. You deserve all the success you 've attained and more when you bring it to fruition. One thing I never understood is why people don't ADMIRE others who get of the pit and make it, and instead, they blame and piss on them. That guy is always miserable and blaming people, whilst spending hours upon hours watching sports team running over grassy soccer fields. Excellent straight to the point. Great summary of the real problem for most people: Reality is it's "between one's own ears." Change your views and change your life!
Amen brother! I was born in a third world country, wanted to be an astronaut. Studied aerospace, saved 50 % or more of my wage. Faced a communist government, changed country, faced currency devaluation, got divorced, got beaten on my job in the US facing losing it and sent back to Brazil. Got green card, changed job, made more money, got beaten again by girlfriend. I fell, I didn't quit I rose stronger. I missed the target of 40 but I'm close. I will make up for what I lost, I will grow even stronger. Life is hard, it will beat you. You fall, you don't quit, keep working, each day do one thing better and you will always grow. You fall, you raise, you get stronger. Today I work with rockets. Still aiming to go to space, still growing my net worth and network. You are what you believe and what you work for.
Educationally I attained a Bachelors and an MBA, started my career in '03 and have had success all along the way. However, about 5 years ago I finally had had enough of eeking it out even after topping 6-figures. When I started my own business I quickly found out that when you work for yourself you get to keep ALL the money. Still in my career, but on a path to be self-sufficient and moving towards 200k to 300k next year. When I hit 400k I'll step all the way into my own business and it will skyrocket. I call it "Escape velocity." Literally making more each month with my side-business working one day a week than my career job where I'm working 5. Break away, my friends.

But come on man, you can't libertarian your way out of everything in this life and you can't "reverse engineer" to find people's choices without accounting for extraneous factors such as health, trauma. Etc.

As a smart wealthy female, I will give you simple advice that will make you a millionaire in 15 years. Work hard and save something every day. Don’t spend more than you make. Ever! Until you have a nest egg. I saved a million dollars by age 35 that way. It’s not that hard to do.
That’s so true! I remember when I had my 9-5 job making around 120k per year and I never made more working there because that’s all I though was possible for me. Then I had my beliefs changed on potential. I quit that job when the recession hit to work for myself and now I make upward of 360k per year. Without a doubt a shift in my beliefs to what’s possible is making all the difference. Btw Rich I listened to you audiobook the unplugged alpha and it’s awesome. Thank you brother!
What I started is a concrete repair business, got sick of the average 40-50k salary. I do smaller jobs like steps and sidewalks and if I do like 5 jobs in a week, I make 450$ per = $2000+ a week. Much easier being a sole proprietor in terms of actually making money but riskier.
Either you are Born into munny, attain it illegally, or you're ok with No Friends. Guys like Rich has acquaintances and NOT FRIENDS. How many friends have you helped financially, without expecting anything back? Greed... I completely agree with your CAR SPEECH. Now that my sons are old enough, they can witness me grow financially at 40yrs old. Lies? Really? Slave myself to make you wealthy? I'd rather kick-doors. Self Employed is the ONLY WAY2GO
Don’t worry fellas, Rich is wrong, it’s not all your fault. Life is cruel, the world is against you. Many have tried much harder than him but have less than he has. Many have tried much harder than you, but have less than you. Hard work =/= results. You can work but you are not guaranteed the fruits of your labor. Do your best. Never give up. Cherish what you have now because everything is temporary.
This was years ago.. I had $10 in my account. I went over to my parents to ask for money. In the end I was too embarrassed to actual ask for money and ended up selling a lot of things on eBay and got a second job. I worked my butt off. Got a decent car. Then I took a hard look at myself and compared myself to what other people were doing. I got my foot in the door at a stable high paying job. Worked my @ss off even more and made it to tech. My life was never going to change until I hit rock bottom. Get off your @ss and stop hoping things will improve and MAKE them improve.
Wow, you would have most likely made it for sure if not for the divorces. Now I feel bad, I'm in my 40s & never even been on a date because I think women can only detract from my financial goals, but I still haven't made it.
@@william11724 Maybe. Giving it up & not having the wealth is even rougher. Just never seemed like a sacrifice at the time. Well, that just happened.
In theory you are right. But in the real world it simply cannot be like that. We have limited resources, some things are made in limited quantity, having " a lot" of money allows you to not work anymore, if you want that... Now let's say ALL of us "do the work" and get millionaires by the age of 40. That means that ALL of us will afford to buy expensive cars. But here's the problem, if ALL of us can buy expensive cars, where's the "status"? Is it then an expensive car anymore? And what's even worse... that would mean that all of us could stop working... they would have enough money, right? Wrong, the market would adjust itself real fast, that million dollar would soon be almost useless... We can't all be rich, if we all would be rich, none of us would be rich... So yeah, nice motivational speech, but it's just that... a speech.
@@martyvanord984 Men seek women, women seek status, therefore men seek status to impress the women they desire. Most new cars lose almost half their value once driven off the lot! A poor investment, but a useful tool!
@ManOfFaithVII Exactly. But even if somehow we could have robots to do everything for us, we still could not be all rich, because then rich wouldn't mean rich, like I said. If everyone would afford a brand new Lambo or Ferrari, then what's the point? Sure, we would all live better, but nobody would really be "rich".
I started investing in my 20s because I knew that I wanted to be financially independent. It's really a question of determination and dedication. Start now and keep working on it.
Imagine society if every single person worked as hard as they could. Obviously this is impossible due to human nature but society would be so much better
You don't pick a job at all. Yes you need one, but the job isn't what's going to make you a millionaire. Ever hear the expression, time is money? Well money is also time. Unless you're a super Chad & can make millions off your looks/physical traits (Examples: Fabio, Tom Brady) or a genius who has wonderful ideas/skills, your only option is to literally bleed yourself out & sacrifice time for money. Most millionaires get there by investing. You won't reap the rewards until your 50s or 60s, but for the majority of people it's the only option. Live below your means so you can have $ to invest & let it compound over time. No skills/network/brilliance/physique needed. Just the discipline & willingness to sacrifice literally everything for decades. The biggest risk is you might not live to be 50 or 60. And even if you do you might be too old to enjoy it.

Rich is not wrong but he’s missing the most important part. The How Bottom line-without a skill that brings value you won’t make money. So, what’s the skill you’re going to do the work on?
Rich. My man. Why not give these ppl some value. Tell them how to build a great portfolio instead of focusing on the end result. The end goal feels to far away for most ppl. Tell them how to start, step by step.
Dude, really? There are hundreds of RUclips channels, videos and books teaching step by step on how to make money and get rich in different industries. Rich making a course on how he made his money from credit repair business is probably not going to be a top option for most people.
"Birds of a feather flock together"...I spent more time w friends/acquaintances, who have limiting beliefs, cause of COVID & deaths in the family...now I gotta pivot to new peer groups focused on optimal livelihoods.....
Rick and I are about the same age, I had a 1989 IROCZ and worked my ass off to get it. I now drive a decked out mustang 5.0, no McLaren bit an working towards a GT500.
I am 50, but never really paid attention to anything like this. Thankfully I'm taking on many of these beliefs. I am independent now, but I came from an abusive family who were very controlling. I let that get to me, but I am living a great life by breaking boundaries not always listening to other peoples' negativity, and moving to Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. I came from rural Minnesota, where people demonize metropolitan living. I am retired military, and have a college degree, but I wanted the degree to satisfy my desire to learn.
Yes absolutely. Your beliefs absolutely determine how far you will go in life. I will add, also, that, figuring out what want in life is actually not super easy, acquiring material goods is a pretty simple life goal. Many other pursuits in life are much more rewarding. Which is why I think as much as Rich likes his cars, he is actually much more interested in helping people advance in life.
This is truth. When I was 17 my goal was to be wealthy by 35. Growing up poor was awful. I'm now 35 and didn't accomplish jack. I had parasitic parents and family bring me down but I let it happen. 17 year old me would be disappointed because I dropped the ball and let apathy eat my life. Now it's time to fix that even if it's late in the game.
Rich you are men !!! A lot of people around me who are living in Matrix are trying to shame you telling that you are masochist and privilege guy. I know your story and seeing people like you it more and more push me to be a better person. Thanks
I also agree with you, I've been working on that in the past years. My question is: how do you change that belief system, so ingrained in your mind that it seems like a neverending fight? I've seen many interviews of successful people mentioning rage and being upset as the place where they get the energy and motivation to get there, to prove that they are not worse than the next rich guy. What motivated you in the beginning and later on?
he is 100% correct.... first thing is you will never be wealthy working for a paycheck and if you dont think you can attain your goals you wont....being scared to take risks is normal but scared does not build wealth..
My beliefs keep me broke because I'm an old man with two skills and am now in a wheelchair. I'm trained to protect others or to drive offensively/defensively. So, now I'm retired.
I used to have the same mentality. The trick is to make the first $100,000. Once you get to $100,000 in the bank/liquid assets, then $1 million looks more attainable than when you are broke.
Very true about the point that cars don't get you girls. I also hate it when people say you only have a loud v8 to get attention. Why can't they just assume I love banging gears with that musical v8 rumble
It's all about the "mechanism" and ROT (return on time). Mine is measured in 25-50 basis points per day on managed assets ($10M), eg, $25-50k avg daily gross. Now scale that to $100M..
While there is a nuget of truth here, it is way over extrapolated into ideology . Its like women who are into the law of attraction, and its almost as absurd as saying anyone can be a professional athlete if they believe in themself.
A man that made it as a pro athlete knows how he did it and can tell ten other young men this is how you do it,you work hard blah, blah, blah, the truth is their are a lot of factors at play and one of the biggest for a person to be an athlete is they already possessed raw Talent, was genetically gifted physically same as a gal who made it as a model she was gifted with looks there's lots of factors at play it's not just one thing you can take 10 people yet only one may have a true chance at getting there not saying you can't try but it's not easy.
You can do all the work to become a great warrior and win many battles yet for every victory and battle you win it only takes that one battle where by all means you have all the skill to Win It yet one little thing can bring you down and end you Achilles heel is one of the greatest examples.
Rich, you are absolutely right Your thoughts will become flesh, you will get what you desire, if you really believe in you. Follow successful people they already imprinted footsteps. Just have discipline and the strong desire to to get to the top.
Signaling that money this day and age, with the car Rich can attract to much attention for my taste. What your thoughts on that? Well you sorta ended up answering it later In the video.
Rich and I have an understanding about nice cars that non-car people will never understand. It's the same non-car guys that lean on your car and say "oh it's just a car"
You're better than a lot. Iam 29 and have about negative 15000. But it's all about the mindset and believe. Iam fukcin broke now but it don't means iam in a few years. Iam also doing 30k a year atm.

I'm at a point where I can pretty much but whatever I want and still have tons to save and invest. So for me, I gotta ask if sacrificing more time is worth the added money.
@@BboyDaquack I agree with you too about making money. In general I'm just trying to change my mindset and break free. Not sure how I'm going to do it especially with paying lots of Child Support. But I know it can be done if I can get over these hurdles that I put in my head.
I don't want to kill myself working my ass off either like those people making $300,000. There has to be a better way
@@jhershy1381 that's awesome man. It's nice to hear when people actually do it.
Agreed with you that they are connected but they are also not connected as well.
In this life currency is required whether that's dollars or pesos or your skills and ability. It's required to live so I agree man
I came across these ideas while reading Jung seventeen years ago.
Never understood that part, which is exactly why me and my father are not having any kind of relationship any more. That guy is always miserable and blaming people, whilst spending hours upon hours watching sports team running over grassy soccer fields. I'm taking full responsibility for my faults, but I had to reach my early 30s to actually get it in my system. The victimhood mentality is a strong drug. A really strong drug. It's the real opium of the people...
People say money doesn’t buy happiness but that’s also bullshit because when you can’t pay your bill or can’t buy the house you want let’s see how happy you will feel
I recently started making more money. Without a doubt, money can improve your happiness.
@@firstspar definitely, gives you more freedom from having to report to anyone, the same people who say money doesn’t buy happiness are the same people praying for god to bless them with material things lol
@@rochester3 Yep. Having more choices and options for your time is the best feeling ever. Not only that, people like to crap on things you can buy. The argument that money can ruin your relationships with family or friends I think is weak too. Since, likely they were crappy before you had money anyway if that is the case.

Congratulations!!
You are a hero
Educationally I attained a Bachelors and an MBA, started my career in '03 and have had success all along the way. However, about 5 years ago I finally had had enough of eeking it out even after topping 6-figures. When I started my own business I quickly found out that when you work for yourself you get to keep ALL the money. Still in my career, but on a path to be self-sufficient and moving towards 200k to 300k next year. When I hit 400k I'll step all the way into my own business and it will skyrocket. I call it "Escape velocity."
Literally making more each month with my side-business working one day a week than my career job where I'm working 5. Break away, my friends.
You’re the dad I should have had… I know you’ve heard that before but seriously. My dad walked out on me at 16 and it fucked me royally. Been following your vids since 2018 and I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve taught me. I’m omw to making 6figs by 25 and have had a wild dating life. Your words have inspired me. Thank you
I watched your video with Andrew tate recently. The part about getting annoyed when you heard a nice, fast car really resonated with me. I'm tired of being a loser, I'm going to have an aventador in 5-10 years. I'm tired of working dead end jobs, I just coded my first android app. I'm gonna make it.
The reality is people are poor for different reasons, and not accounting for that and telling them it's their fault, is ignorant as fuck.
I'm not mad, I do like your videos. But come on man, you can't libertarian your way out of everything in this life and you can't "reverse engineer" to find people's choices without accounting for extraneous factors such as health, trauma. Etc.

I honestly want to tell you thank you Rich for that motivating reality check.
What business did you make?
What I started is a concrete repair business, got sick of the average 40-50k salary. I do smaller jobs like steps and sidewalks and if I do like 5 jobs in a week, I make 450$ per = $2000+ a week. Much easier being a sole proprietor in terms of actually making money but riskier.
@@basicboomer519 Ah nice, Thanks for the response

Either you are Born into munny, attain it illegally, or you're ok with No Friends. Guys like Rich has acquaintances and NOT FRIENDS. Now that my sons are old enough, they can witness me grow financially at 40yrs old.

Thank you man. Been watching you for about 3 years now. It's time to update my beliefs 📝🙌
This is golden advice. Ty Rich.
Truth is not always the easiest thing to hear, but it speaks volumes and is at the precipice of self-improvement. Cheers Rich!
From about 15, I had the goal set at being a millionaire by 30, didn't make it. Made it by late 30s though. (Two divorces 🤦)
The red pill helps one accumulate AND preserve wealth
Dam!! two divorces
Wow, you would have most likely made it for sure if not for the divorces. Now I feel bad, I'm in my 40s & never even been on a date because I think women can only detract from my financial goals, but I still haven't made it.
@@zakuzeon7382 never been on a date? I like making money like the next guy but man giving up your youth to seek wealth is a scam on life
@@william11724 Maybe. Giving it up & not having the wealth is even rougher. Just never seemed like a sacrifice at the time. But when you get to your 40s & you're still fighting in the trenches then see some guy on the internet went that route, had it go sour for them TWICE & still made it out of the trenches before you, you kind of go, huh.
So yeah, nice motivational speech, but it's just that... a speech.
status is seeking worth in others eyes. It is different than spending money on something that holds value and gives you enjoyment as you use it.

Millionaire at 40 is highly achievable especially if you start between 15 to 25.
its achievable but it shouldn't be an expectation because its bot a reality for the vast majority of people
Imagine society if every single person worked as hard as they could. Obviously this is impossible due to human nature but society would be so much better
@@johnnybaxter1953 There would still be a lot of poor people though.
Appreciate the honesty, we all struggle that’s what makes life great.
Here's my issue: What to focus on specifically to be a millionaire. Surely you dont just pick a job in a hat.
Figure out what you're passions are, that other people are find valuable. Then ask people how to monetize that. Then execute.
@@zakuzeon7382 I understand your point.

Changing my beliefs wont make my boss to pay me more money.
True! But sleeping with him might! LOL hey, it works for women!!

Totally agree. I seriously believe i will get there...im just looking for the next opportunity...
