Thanks so much for sharing this expedition Alex, inspiring stuff looking forward to receiving your new book. Enjoyed your thought process behind your composition. Also enjoyed a Norway winter mountain vlog. All the best, Rob
That Lochen shot you deem to be too horizontal is just up my alley. I actually think it is a pretty well balanced image.
It’s certainly balanced, but it’s also a bit of a snoozefest!
Thanks for your time and effort producing these videos, they're hugely appreciated.
Thanks for the continued encouragement Richard!
Great atmospheric video Alex.
Thanks Paul!
Really informative vlog Alex. I get a great deal from your discussions about composition. Thanks.
That’s great to hear Rob! More to come :)
Very interesting and informative Alex. Great composition and awesome images.
A really interesting video Alex. Your explanations and reasoning behind your compositions are so helpful. Thank you for sharing this adventure.
Another beautiful location Alex, what a place to propose :)
Yeah, it really is a beautiful place!
Love the intro on this Alex, setting the scene pefectly. Your opening image I was looking at it and thinking portrait format but when you showed it in 4 x 5 I was thinking ye, thats better 🙂 Looking forward to the next one, sound exciting. Hot Chocolate sounded good too . atb Al
Thanks Al, I shot portrait as well, but preferred the 4x5. Both are solving the same problem, but the portrait put a little bit too much emphasis on the foreground :)
aye.. I might have thought it was a Greg Whitton shot if you had ..lol.
I think Greg’s photography is great :)
@@alexnail Me too.. just when I see those large foreground images I think of him.. I think its a part of his style?
