Colorado's stabilize their price nowadays, as trucks are getting more popular. Plus resale doesn't really matter as much when you're paying significantly less for a colorado, you lose about the same amount of money because the initial purchase price is so high. Unless you plan to keep it 20 years.

Best thing to do with this truck is lease it, then you won’t have to deal with its problems(which it will have) and not worry about selling it. I say it will have problems because it’s a four banger with a fat turbo… that never ends well.
2.3 turbo from fords been good to me. 65,000 km so far not a single leak or issue. I drive aggressively and in the city mainly not lot of highway. Proper maintenance makes all the difference.

I'm waiting to see what the 2024 Tacoma looks like. I really think gm dropped the ball on the Colorado/canyon. First and must pain is that it's release date was in January and then they put holds on the units. Which I'm actually glad that I'm still waiting for my AT4 to be built so I can go try out and look at the 2024 Ford ranger and Toyota Tacoma. Noticed gm cheap out but still has a high price tag. Plastic still all over the dash, they shrunk the dash and gauges and got rid of most of the gauges unless you pay for the overpriced Denali or AT4+ package which gives you a cluster that fills the spot completely. And still no rear power slider. As a union/GM worker I'm sure I will get hate, but it's my money and I'm going get something I like! Gm is the one the decided to be cheap on things. And this is probably why the came out early to get people's attention. But then they will see that Ford and Toyota was smart and waited.
