He wasn't even lying. It DOES always work. It just doesn't guarantee WHO it's going to work for.
Just shows how we can be misled by the context of events.
Nearly shed a tear at the end of this. Darren’s best and most touching project.
Derrin put 4k on each Horse. Once he saw which won, he swapped out the one he gave her with the winner. He is a master pickpocket, you know.
that's the only way he could of won..great comment.
it did *seem* that she was holding on to the ticket the whole time though...
@@Andybabyhe only needs to touch her hand to comfort her and can make an easy swap.
I knew he wouldn't let her lose, and that's that. 🏆
What a wonderful lady. Kadeisha accepted her dreadful loss with complete grace and charm. So happy for her winning outcome after struggling in life. Good for you Kadeisha, if you read this.
My favourite TV show of Derren's. What fascinated me most was the stunts he pulled with the professionals in the sport.
Amazing video that's four years old, how did I miss this!!! The penny dropped when he said they had contacted other people, it was obviously a numbers game. I did think at the end he had changed the bet, or that maybe he bet on all of the runners and somehow switched the betting slip when she didn't notice. I bet professionally on UK horse on average about 40 bets every day and while I don't have a "system" per say, I do have the knowledge and software to pick many winners and am profitable. I knew there was a twist to this story and it's very clever indeed. .
I'll bet you indeed are not profitable.
Chances that im correct are better than 50/50.
In school once many years ago we did the coin flip... 100 flips... me and the person next to me got 50/50... the teacher was mindblown saying hed never seen that happen....ever ❤❤❤
Well that is the highest probability on the bell curve at 7.96% each
THAT WAS EVIIILLL OMG
So there is in fact no system of knowing what horse is going to win, it`s just a system of building up trust. Starting with almost 8000 people and then ending up with THE one that has been lucky every time.
2nd thought. I dont think Derren is telling the truth, he has a system that does work. He has built up trust in me :)
On the coin flip if you slow it to .25 you can see the coin isn't spinning ut looks that way bur it wobbles, true skill
If nothing else, he's certainly a clever illusionist..
How to predict 100 head in a row is to draw head on both side 😅😅😅😅😅😅
It's good editing and show business nothing to do with gambling but he had my attention as I like a flutter
Another one for the glue factory 🐎 ☠️
Tesco value burger 😂
So if my maths is correct, the final bet cost $4k to place and paid off $13k, he spent $20k to ensure he could give her the "magic" ticket that would win her $13k. Lol I guess giving her the ticket instead of the money does look better on camera, but personally I would have just dummied up a fake ticket and quietly handed her the $13k off screen.
Probably what they did, gave the bookie the money to hand over on camera.
The lady was wrong about 10/1 if you put one pound on at 10/1 you should get your pound back. Plus 10 of their pounds that a collect of 11 pounds.
Darren brown probability shares in the fixing syndicate.
It don't explain how he predicted the horse betters correctly picking the pictures with the numbers with the odds, I think he's not letting us know the whole story, no magician would
IT is based on people picking out what is close to them hence there initials matching
@Puterrrr yeah but there was no way to predict at random they would do that, you understand the odds he provided of the chance of that happening right? 1000/1 plus is merely impossible, but as he said not impossible just highly improbable, but they he explains the sequence of picking horses to be a scam, but how did he tell her at the end he thought number 1 and thought no I think this other 1 will win, unless it was all pre staged. Why would he explain he will show her how to do that. Darren tries his best to make out this stuff is all simple, but I'm saying it and I'll say again, a magician will expose his secrets easily
@@darkspy1277For the final race, he bet £4000 on all the horses, and then after the race he used slight of hand to swap the winning ticket.
@medalion1390 that's a full scam then, so he bet 1k on each horse essentially covering all ends
@@darkspy1277 It’s still the same basic system that’s been used from the start though… essentially, every race has to have _A_ winner, so if a person (or in the last case, a bet) is allocated to every horse, then you’ll always “win”.
Kadisha is lovely.❤
Only guaranteed system is match betting , bookies hate it lol😂😂😂😂
But HOW?????????????????
Nonsense at the end about the coin flipping, they could have just shown heads 10 times in editing it. No way would they need to film for hours. Could be done in two minutes
Why's it so difficult to believe? It's perfectly probable. Video games have worse odds than 1/1000 for rare item drops yet they happen all the time.
I suppose, purely for the sake of convenience they could’ve just edited ten in a row, but the overall principal that he’s demonstrating is still true.
Top heavy coin
They filmed for 9 hours and the odds are around 1/1000. You can't be that dense to still think it's rigged.
Here’s the thing, he _could’ve_ used a weighted coin, or perhaps even edited that shot of the bowl (pretty easy to do since there’s no camera movement), all for the sake of convenience and time… but the actual logic of what he’s doing and the probability involved is still 100% sound.
How can i play to win ?? Please add me in
Match betting guarantees profit 💯
meaning?@@HughJohn-s1n
How does he know whos gonna win tho
Presumably the TV company put a 4k bet on each horse
Total dross
waste of precious 30 minutes
Not really, it’s a great demonstration of how probability works and how people can be manipulated by confirmation bias.
@@medalion1390Or how television LIES.
@@deletebilderberg What were the lies here?
hes super cool but these newer vids are the cause of my dwindling respect
editing was what fooled my parents but now the peak of human iq is over and quickly going down hill
Made just for television and what nonsense that she wins in the end but she was refunded her loses back like everyone that participated.
Nice magic trick.
@leedavies8237 Depends what you define under magic. Harry Potter magic, agree doesn't exist. Otherwise you have shops full with magic tricks like a svengali deck of cards and other gizmo's.
