I love Fred Savage. I think his energy was great, its a refreshing change of pace from the celebrities who come and sometimes seem bored with the whole thing, even if they're funny. Also the Fred Savage interview on Chris Hardwicks Nerdist podcast is one of the funniest things Ive heard. Hes such a gem.
My 13 year old boy loved this show as i bought the series this year. He cried at the end and that solidified he got my generation and i showed him the music and more shows. 1982 baby tale end of an epic era.

WOW. Roseanne, Empty Nest, Family Ties, and Cheers, all of these shows that Fred Savage mentioned were great shows. And the actors that acted in them John Goodman in RoseAnne, Richard Mulligan in Empty Nest, Michael J. Fox in Family Ties, and Ted Dansen in Cheers are all very talented actors.
I remember him from 'The Boy Who Could Fly' when he was the little brother who defeated the bullies with a super soaker loaded with "piss". Great scene!
The original and current version of The Wonder Years series lined up perfectly with my school years based on the episodes discussing the renaming of schools after Robert Kennedy assassination and the Apollo moon landings in the original series.

Wonder years was an insanely great show that kinda faded away for some reason...
It was cancelled into its fourth season and had to end somewhat abruptly.
He was accused of harassing an extra on the show, abc cancelled the next year. There’s an interview with his tv mom where she tells the story.
