I love these guys. They’re just “on” all the time, their “interviews” are glorified stand-up routines with the same endearing jokes but I absolutely love it 😂
The master of the interview stand-up routine was Robin Williams. He was always electric and his energy was contagious. The interviewer/host barely did anything.

Steve Martin's one of the best comedic writers still working. I wish they would still let him screenwrite his own movies, and not just hire him to play generic old comic-relief roles. We really need another movie like "The Jerk" where they just wind him up and let him follow his incredible comedic instincts. They DON'T need another "cheaper by the dozen."
Luke Maynard I agree that Hollywood should still let him be creative. I sorely miss him in these genius roles.

These two are comedy legends and former SNL casts and they know the television/late show very well! I think they do love Jimmy that's why they often come here and even perform with him. I remember that "Tensions" soap opera. It's so funny!

Dude this is classic comedy I grew up on and haven’t seen for years. It reminds me that comedians were ok with not being cool and they were the edgy people in society. Most impressively no swearing, no religion, no politics. Just pure champagne comedy. And improv too. Bloody oath

Their charisma and animation is so awesome. I love their sense of humor too. My favorite part is when Martin yelled what Jimmy said, acting like Steve was hard of hearing.
I'm struck by how professional the two of them are. They ad lib and genuinely enjoy the offhand jokes, but when one of them is setting up a joke, the other lays back and gives them the stage. And their timing is flawless. Add them to the pantheon of great comedy duos. They belong right beside Martin and Lewis, Abbot and Costello, and Burns and Allen.
These two can take any smart witty teenager today in a heartbeat. Man they are awesome

Not many people remember, Steve Martin has a special attachment to this show. He has been one of the few people to have stood in for Johnny Carson back in the day.
These two are in their seventies now. Still funnier than half of modern comedians.
