Amma....vanakkam....I followed your recipe for this year's Deepavali Gowri nonbu...after nearly 20 years of unsuccessful attempts this yea it came out very well.tasted like traditional Chettinad adhirasam which I had tasted in my neighbour aachis house decades back.As we have to soak the rice and do it instantly on the amavasya day itself.your guidance was perfect.and it didn't go wrong as you said if weexactly follow your instructions. thanks a lot Amma

Jaggery ,gets the right consistency after 25 minutes Basically we were doing perfect adhirasam, few years back,we were not able to prepare it perfectly,it was really hectic,we have to perform kedara gowri nonbu,some how we managed to prepare adhirasam for pooja,but we could not get the perfect recipe,it went on for 3-4yrs,after that,fortunately we saw this video and started preparing it,,till now we get it perfectly ,this time also ,we had excellent adhirasams. Amma, I followed ur tips like don’t filter all oil, add oil n ghee for frying, make adhirasam slightly thicker n not so thin - my adhirasams came out so well..thanks a lot for ur tips!! U are the best..I will refer u for any sweeten snacks and that’s where I am weak and need the tips

Actually for my amma and me, athirasam and vella seedai will not come well. My amma tried your this recipe aunty, it came out so well even when my little daughter poured some water in it when my mom was sleeping... Amma became happy on the next day after seeing the result.. thanks a lot..
