Good video Charlie. At 12:00 what do you think about a fake block bet to induce a raise from his good and bad hands?

In the Andy vs Fang hand, we donked pretty big on the flop. I think Andy is trying to rep a draw which lost equity when the board paired by checking, hoping over pairs will bet for protection. I agree with you, though, it's a punt, because over pairs that do bet for protection will probably bet-fold, or at least not call the river, whereas they might have called down bet-bet-bet. He might also be thinking that Fang is on a draw himself, and he wants to induce Fang to bet-call, get there, and then jam the river, but I do not like this either, because Fang might check back a draw, and, more importantly, the draw will put money in on the turn if it has to, but once he bricks the river, which will be most of the time, his hand won't have any more perceived equity, so we are counting on him to bluff his busted draw to get value this way. And, he might not. He might give up, or river some pair and check back thinking it was good.
Bottom line, we are out of position, Fang's range that we can get value from is mostly over pairs and draws, and both of those hands will put money in on the turn. If we thought his range was full of trash, we could take this passive line to try to induce him, but, odds are he has something. If we lose some money versus ace-highs by betting turn, whatever, we have the effective nuts, our goal is to extract value from second best hands and we are OOP, so we need to bet.
As played on a king river, I think, again, I would bet. It is possible he hit the king, in which case he may bet it himself, but a lot of his range will be paired hands that do not like the king and perhaps thought we were doing a one-and-done with the NFD on the flop. Because he checked back the turn, his range is a little weaker, fewer hands in it that would bet-call a river, or bet it at all. So I think our best option is to polarize ourselves and hope he does not believe us, hit the king, or both.

Im going $15,000 here. Something that JJ, QQ, AT can call. I agree we should have kept betting on the turn, as the K on the river has kind of stuffed us up. It is a scare card which brings in QJ, one of Andy's main bluffs on the flop. Also now QQ & JJ have to worry about an overcard. If we bet big like full pot or even ship it, we are really only targeting AA and even that hand might get squeamish.

Ah 1.3x pot huh you OWNED my SOUL Charlie he did indeed pay off full pot. Mayb im a fish. Or mayb hes a fish? (opponent) im not calling JJ there. I suppose you block QJ so its less likely Andy has the str8. Hmmm. I know we dont go crazy with GTO on this channel but there are better hands still in range to call down with like AA, AKs. Your not over folding.

I would have gone $15k too. Villain can call with just 20% equity, which is tons of hands. The most important thing is to build the pot so you can make a bigger value bet on the river should villain have a hand he can call with

9:30, I would have gone bigger than 15%, a 10 or 9 on river is stacking u, and those are in his range. Just feel like it’s a spot to get greedy. Bet like 15k and sets up easy jam for river, unless it’s a 9 or 10, check fold if 9, check call if 10 like almost always. That would be a weird spot.

Charlie what about on the dueces hand with andy check on turn with maybe allowing spades to get there on rivers, assuming opp bets strong FDs and I imagine probably still bets Overpairs. Really love the 10-15% pot bet on turn tho i think thats my favourite. love the content brotha!

67 draws to weak straights and flushes so i dont see how thats good multiway. 22 also draws at only bottom set so also deep doesn’t play well. 2-7 triple draw teaches you that these cards are the nut worst hands to make a strong hand.

Mate, if you make a straight or a flush in Texas Holdem, you're gonna win the hand like 95 percent of the time... Also, these games are so soft that thinking set mining or calling with 76ss pre isn't good seems a little far fetched..

Alan knows Andy is over compensating for Alans image as a maniac and correctly checks back since he is more weighted towards traps when checking OOP

As Garrett, I would pick an 'aggro' suit for my ace and if it happened to be that suit, I would 4-bet it, otherwise flat. So 25% 4-bet. Flop and turn are standard in a 3-bet pot, on the river I think we have no choice but to pay him off, we block AA, AQ, JJ, we have pretty much the best bluff catcher we can have and we know Andy can bluff. Does he bluff *enough?* Fuck I don't know, I'm calling.

Andy v Garrett i think we are just a victim to the runout. Have to stick it in. Otherwise why are we calling turn only to fold when we hit 2 pair? Andy hasnt gone cray cray with bet sizing. He could have put us in a nasty spot with 2x pot. Yes it is somewhat concerning that he would not bet full pot with AK, which is the only value hand we beat. He would have bet smaller to get a call out of weak Ax suited hands which Garrett might have been holding on with. Also a worry that one of Andy's main bluffs (KTd) just got there. Still, im not good enough to fold this.
