The m3 is in limp mode and still driving at night. Could just be the throttle actuators fr If the rod bearings go the car will not be driving in limp mode

Rebuild for sure, hopefully the block is good with just a bore and hone. What did you do?
why didn't u do a oil change, fuel dilutes oil
