Bob Ezrin has been a great match for Purple. He knows how to get the best out of them and more importantly, he knows what sounds good in terms of overall sound and arrangements.

Gillan was probably my favourite singer in the 70's. He still sounds good. Gillan, Plant, Daltry, ian Anderson, Ann Wilson, Mercury just to name some. And that's only Rock. Now we get auto tune. I'm glad to hear the guys still rocking it.

For me Blackmore is the missing piece, they are good now, better than most in the business, but the magic that Blackmore created together with the lads, was extraordinary.
