@JoanneScotta yes there are beach in badagry and you access them from island through the way the water transportation I'll make a video on it before the end this year💙
It is 6 lanes (3 at both sides) expressway, while sections approaching the bridges, they made it 4 lanes. As you are driving further away from the bridges, it becomes 6 lanes
If you know how much they have embezzled on this project World Bank loan, Sukuk loan, Now NNPC even Ecowas gave money for this road you drive from Abidjan to the Benin Republic smooth Road it is immediately you enter Badagry you go know even if you are asleep in the Bus or car 😂
NNPC is financing a huge project like this in Lagos and barely can you see anything of this magnitude happening in any Nigeria Delta state, look at the PH-Bonny road construction that has been there for decades is just a two lanes road, this is a road leading to the most oil and gas industrial hub in the country, someone should show me a single mega project NNPC is financing in Rivers State or any other nearby state, as much I appreciate the project going on there, there is a very high level of national marginalization agenda going on against the people of old south eastern region , you can go and argue with yourself but this is the truth
A sidewalk with huge pit holes in the middle. Everything they do, including construction, is always substandard. I didn't live in any other country where building engineers put pedestrian and driver's lives at risk just because they put up a structure. From structural deficiencies to multiple workmanship errors is always what you find with anything done in Nigeria. Nigeria pretty much has little or no standards at all, and it affects Nigerians in so many ways than one. I'm not even going to get into the rearity of road markings on most roads
I cry every time I see new roads constructed in Nigeria with open gutters in 2024. It’s very unfortunate because most of these leaders that are approving such nonsense have all gone abroad at some point and have seen how roads and drainage systems are built in Successful countries, yet they don’t think their own country deserves the same. Na wa ooo!

THEY ARE CURRENTLY FINANCING BENIN SAPELE WARRI ROAD. it's not always about marginalization.
For your troubles.

that's the drainage, not the walkway, the walkway is the bare land after the drainage
and I'm sure the drainage will be covered after construction
You are correct .. we need to make walk way and bicycle lanes a standard in Nigeria for construction companies
