I like corkscrew because it can do more than phillips on the back.
Here are just some of useful tips it can be done with it:
    1. Opens corked bottles (duh!)
    2. Untie knots.
    3. Pry the battery out of a cell phone.
    4. Screw it into a wall and hang your coat on the SAK.
    5. Staple remover.
    6. Smooth out the hole you just made with the reamer.
    7. Clear clogged faucet sprayer.
    8. Bicycle tire valve tool.
    9. Holds the micro screwdriver.
    10. Pick gravel out of tires.
    11. Rip open a blister package.
    12. Ice pick.
    13. Mark a pilot hole.
    14. Clean mud out of shoe soles.
    15. Knot the end of a cord. Thread it through the corkscrew. Handle.
    16. Pop balloons.
    17. Aides in sewing.
    18. Clean mud out of sprinkler heads.
    19. Push used snare wire through it, to straighten out the wire and remove coils or kinks.
    20. Pulls the drain plug out of a tub.
    21. Open the corkscrew and screw it tightly into a broomstick-thickness stick. Now open the blade. Tie it securely. Survival spear for fishing.
    22. Hang the SAK from a piece of cordage from the ceiling. Plumb bob (I have the middle of the handle marked on one mine).
    23. Corkscrew + a metal lid = a filter or wire mesh for cooking.
    24. Carry a chunk of C4.
    25. Pull frozen shoestrings tight, or help loosen them.
    26. Helps get the innards out of a squirrel.
    27. Gets the candle stub out of a candle holder.
    28. Start fights on multitool forums.
    29. Remove the fuel filter from a lawn mower.
    30. Although the new corkscrews are 4 turns, you can use them for range estimation.
    31. O-ring remover for your flashlights.
    32. Pry out partially-exposed nails.
    33. Tighten the apron strings on a wrestling ring.
    34. The inside diameter of the corkscrew is 1/4". I'm sure you know what you can do with this.
    35. Open just a small hole in a coconut.
    36. Lift stuck items out of boxes.
    37. Fish the tape out of a clogged VHS tape.
    38. Remove patches from a flintlock gun.
    39. Remove the inside of a shotgun shell, making a blank. Remove the wad and powder too.
    40. If you don't want the mini screwdriver, the corkscrew can hold a ferro rod.
    41. Tap a tree for sap.
    42. Undo zip ties without breaking them.
    ✌️😉

it's bad to open twist offs with a bottle opener as you can chip off the threads on the bottle and push them into the bottle.

I've been a Victorinox guy for thirty years and I find that I depend heavily on the awl and can opener( in my opinion there is NO multi-tool canopener design as good as Victorinox...). This looks like a good knife though for someone who doesn't need those items.

Thanks for the review. I used to think a corkscrew was a luxury item… until I had a knot I couldn’t loosen. Can’t remember who suggested to use a corkscrew for that purpose but it works like a charm. Thanks again.

Watch out for the screwdriver tip on the rescue cutter!
The angle makes it slam shut if you apply pressure!
And it cuts deep if your finger happens to be in the way, don't ask me how I know!
    Take care

The m61 is nearly perfect. But the seat belt tool is an abomination. I would prefer in-line Phillips, awl, pen blade or magnifying glass. Also, the corkscrew looks out of place on that brand. It’s quite a nice brand, but for nearly the same price gimme a sak

Tbh if you need a can opener you can just bring a p38, maybe even attach it to the lanyard loop. Pop tops are pretty common now unless it's some store brand stuff.

Damn those tacos looked good, bro! So I've become a huge fan of the Ruike (I believe it is pronounced "rayk" per their website) Jager F118. It's a great all-around knife that hits all the criteria that I look for in an outdoors fixed blade. As for the corkscrew on that L32, it does make a good substitute for a marlinspike when it comes to untying stingy knots. Another awesome video and, SALUD, gentlemen!

Screw driver has so many useful uses. Undo knots. You can screw into a branch open your saw and reach branches to cut or fire fungi to cut off a tree out of reach. You have after market SAK glasses screwdriver which winds into and stores in your corkscrew aswell as tinder and mini ferro rod for after market fire ant. Etc

I like that multitool. They also make some nice folders and at least one fixed blade. I find I seldom use my Leatherman Wave, too bulky for the pocket, and I don't usually want to wear it on the belt. This one might be more useful, just wish it had a locking blade and saw. Out of stock now though.

I has been waiting for this review for months! Really enjoying the content.
I wasn't not sure if i would buy one of these Ruike multitool, been eyeing them since 2 years. I have a Victorinox Hunter and i must admit it's been my "outdoor folding knife" since then. It's a 111mm (Trekker size and same thickness) with a locking blade, a gutting blade (serrated round blade similar to the rescue blade of the Ruike but open fully), a combo tool (bottle and can opener), a good length wood saw and on the back it got a corkscrew and a reamer/awl.
Like you, the majors things i would prefer on a Ruike are: better steel, better tweezer and the pocket clip.
I think I'm waiting for a model with the tools i would need from Ruike to buy one... but they don't make a lot of new multitools compared to folding knives...
    Great review... and freat music!

Great looking meal. I personally prefer to put the cheese on the tortilla while its warming up or about a minute before i take it off the fire to melt it a bit and help get some of the fats oozing. Personal choice but I think it helps enhance the flavor a bit. A little fresh squeezed lime juice is welcome as well. Oh, and the knife looked interesting as well. ;)

Having purchased a LD42-B which is the One hand Opening, Locking version with saw, scissors and awl I am left looking at it much the same. The action on the one hand opening is really really stiff at first also there is jimping on the liner lock for whatever reason so it chews your thumb. If I were to mod it I would grind down the jimping, grind the thumb stud divet on the scale and liner just a milimeter or so to allow for more of the thumb's meat to make contact allow for easier opening. I'd also have the seatbelt cutter reground and make it a sickle blade because sharpening that nonsense is a pain. And then maybe getting some high carbon steel making a new combo can/bottle opener tool like some swiss army knives have but since it is high carbon it would be capable of striking sparks on flint.
@Junkyard Fox you can use the corkscrew in tandem with the saw and a long stick to have a pole saw.

Next week I am making some steak fajitas or tacos! I carry a Huntsman swiss army folder in my pocket and a Sog or leatherman multi tool pliers in my haversack for backup. Pretty sure these come out of the same factory as some of the Bokerplus knives e.g. the Techtools, which are also 12C27, a good steel I agree, I have a Techtool Mini with scissors and a Bokerplus Atlas, they're both great quality and get a fair bit of use. The only tool on these and on the Techtools I don't like, and which has stopped me buying one, is the beltcutter/Phillips sd combo, as I believe it's pretty tricky to use as a screwdriver due to it's 45 degree angle.

But I don’t need a more robust blade for a non-locking one in my opinion. I’d still rather go with the one-handed tracker NS. Although if SAK came out with one with a stouter locking blade. I hate where they put the pocket clip 😢 it makes me sad. I do like the glass breaker wish they used them on more multi tools I only have a few on my Benchmade triage my ultratech and I think my Benchmade contego though I’m not 100% sure.

It looks very interesting. I'm almost tempted to try one. However, I can not understand this compulsion to include corkscrews and bottle openers. I have not used a simple corkscrew to open a bottle of wine or a "cap lifter" for anything in literally decades. THOSE WERE TWIST TOPS! I do like the tweezers.

Well in the UK and the rest of Europe too most of our beer bottles don't have twist caps, only US Budweiser, or Bud as it's called in some countries (they got sued by the original Budweiser from Budvar, Czechia)...and Budweiser is like making love in a boat...it's fucking close to water.

survial situations rarely happen in remote wilderness areas, mostly after a natural disaster or civil unrest, meaning youre far morel ikely to have packaged and canned foods to eat rather than be living off hunting game, its not 1775 anymore.

👍 Interesting review. I am not a fan of liner locks as they provide false security in my mind. As you say there is no perfection in these knives. If the Chinese knife had a can opener, tooth pick, and awl it would be close to perfect. The corkscrew has more uses than opening wine - see Felix Immler’s channel. Frankly, I use my bottle opener / screwdriver on my pocket knives a lot.

That looked like a grand feed! Got the Boker+ version 4/5 years ago in a Black Friday sale, probably would have got the Ruike version myself if I hadn't caught that sale! Mine is the No#4 version?? It's the same as yours but with scissors and no tweezers. It's well built, probably a bit on the heavy side for hikers and those concerned with pack weight. Have took it out a few times though and it's a good set of tools. Have you considered trying the serrated blade as a gut hook? Could it be made to work?

Very cool but I’ll stick with my titanium leatherman charge with an s30v blade. I would also prefer the FARMER X ALOX with silver anodized aluminum handles its not a giant blade but it’s also not small just a perfect size and the look is sexy 🥰😍😘 and as usual you only made enough food for yourself u never bring food unless you have enough for everyone🤡
