Quality knife/multitool!!!! Thanks for all the quality videos! Most of us only take it apart when we have to repair or clean it. Curious to see the modification/assembly video!
As someone who's disassembled a Real Steel Luna a few times I admire your bravery 😅 slipjoint backsprings are a pain in the arse to fit back together, I can't fathom trying something with this many layers lol
If they rotated the 2D Philly 45 degrees they could have made it 3D. Vicky did that with their inline phillies, their philly toothsies look northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest instead of north east south and west. If you look down on a vicky inline philly while it's still in the chamber but the pliers are out and compare to when you look down on a ruike inline philly while it's still in the chamber you'll get what I mean. Anyway I wanna modify my ruike by rotating the philly 45 degrees and making it 3D and also cutting out the front g10 scale so I can put a little emblem the coat of arms of my home country. Cool video, wish you all the pain in the world during reassembly. Thanks for taking one for the team.
Can you please tell me how the width of the pliers relates to the rest of the tools? I would like to have a less thick version - Ruike LD31, but with pliers instead of a can opener or scissors, is it realistic?
When looking at the scissors on my Böker mini tech-tool I noticed also movement on both parts in open position. I think the reason is that they use the same back spring, so when pushing down on the upper part, the bottom one is pushed upwards a bit by the back spring.
Hi, great video and thanks for all the hard work! Do you think you could add the metal file from the m61 (or equivalent boker) to this tool, maybe replacing the serrated blade?
Do you think a 91mm SAK can opener can be put in place of the finger guillotine? I own a LD42-B and was pondering about swapping out the liners for g10 to reduce the weight a tad. Now that I saw the innards of it, I am not so sure...
@@maxlvledc heck yeah iv made 3 of those multiforce pocket knifes and I carry a Gerber dime with a lanyard in the case that the multi-force came in, so I have a mini pliers and a neet pocket knife all in the same case. my I3T EOS flashlight hooks to the side of it it's tiny right by the extension. So now my EDC is even smaller than before with more stuff.
As always giving us ideas to improve our carry. Cheers mate.

Great video! Btw the "weird serrated thing" (~11:20) is a seat-/ belt cutter. ;-)

That layer is very thick, getting rid of it will drastically reduce thickness
I recently picked one of these up and I’ve been using my index finger instead of my thumb to operate the scissors. Seems to operate better that way
Very informative. Thank for another great video!

The LD series of Ruike doesn't do that..which has me puzzled
When do we get an assemble video? It’d be fun
Hi, great video and thanks for all the hard work! Do you think you could add the metal file from the m61 (or equivalent boker) to this tool, maybe replacing the serrated blade?
It all depends on tang shape of the spring and the thickness..not sure.
I have an LD41 on order, Im already thinking about erasing one layer (scissors/bottle opener) to make it slimmer for everyday carry
Just curious, why didn't you get the LD3 series in the first place?
@@obludaoblada1740 I want the pliets
I ordered the ruike m61-g we'll see how ruike has done over the years
they have stayed consistent.
Ok what are the pros and cons of the Fenix Ruike and the boker city? They look exactly the same.
Good video topic! Lots of differences actually
Thanks for this video! I've assembled it back 😭😭😭
Great vid...what was the screwdriver tool you used
Novel Carry slidekick
Also where can you find those thin copper washers? I have disassembled a Surge and Charge.
For what, this tool or a leatherman?
For Leatherman.
@@tomturbuckle0076 hmm, never found a place to source them... maybe at a knife supply site?

I've seen it done so yes..
But will require some grinding
Благодарю! 😊
Cool vid
Do you think it's possible to add a file like the M61 version? I have the LD51B but crave a good file.
instead of the saw? maybe.
Yeah man I can't pay alot for something then take it apart haha glad you have the know how, I'll keep learning before I dig in
I do it so no one has too! In the long run, making the video pays off the tool lol.

Я разобрал свой Райк лд51. Почистил. Собрал и смазал.
What’s the black case ?
It's a Vault Case.
@@maxlvledc thank you!
So I noticed it took you 7.5 minutes to disassemble how long to reassemble😬
Ummmm, I didnt...plus that was 2x speed! So 14 min 😅
I'd be like, Why? Nope.
