    Ruike and Böker are made by Sanrenmu and Ruike belong to Fenix (Fenix desing a line of multitool and knife and the manufacture was made by sanrenmu). Nice tool.

      Thanks for clarifying! It’s always interesting to learn about the OEMs

    These are a really great alternative for the SAK Hercules. It's great that it's held together with torx bolts instead of rivets. The quality seems pretty good !

    This is definitely a decent alternative to any Victorinox 111 mm with a similar tool layout.. The positives are the lack of those fragile springs regarding the operation of the pliers and scissors, full size tweezers, OHO main blade, G10 scales and pocket clip just to recap.. Plus I like how they use stainless steel for the liners, not aluminum.. Sure it's heavier, but more robust. Just try holding it up to any light source and see if it "leaks light" between the liners on the springs. I'm sold, gonna pick one up for office sheeple friendly EDC.. Great review, bravo!

      Thanks! I’ll check the “light leak” because I’ve never thought to do that on my tools before

      @@inkiron3907 You'll notice with almost 99% accuracy, that all post 1990 Victorinox knives, "leak light" when held up against a light source, be it 91 or 111mm.. Now here's the interesting observation, Victorinox leak, original Wenger knives don't... That's why I only EDC pre 1990 Wenger & Victorinox knives.. Better, construction, QC, plus solid cellidor scales.. Solid cellidor can take quite a beating, unlike the 90% hollowed out versions currently do..

    13:30 those tweezers are probably the best part about this tool for me

    • @inkiron3907

      They are the best tuck-away style tweezers I’ve seen

    🙀This is a interesting multi tool at 10:15 I've saw someone useing that tool on a Tec tool as a driver and the guy allmost had has finger off so be aware of using it as a driver😫 but you already have same fantastic drivers on it anyway so i would just use it as a cuting blade I'm going to be on the look out to see what saw and ✂✂ is better it's a interesting tool thanks for sharing the video with us 😺👍

    • @inkiron3907
      @inkiron3907  3 года назад +1

      Yes, it seems a very unsafe driver position! I used the saw the other day and it works well, but I’ll need at side-by-side for a real ranking. Thanks for watching 😎

    Why doesn't swiza have more tools for options. They charge enough. What's their biggest model I'm curious?

    Hi, will the Victorinox corkscrew screwdriver fit on the Ruike?

    • @inkiron3907
      @inkiron3907  3 года назад

      It does not! The corkscrews are just slightly different enough to prevent the micro screwdriver fit 😭 so close

    imagine böker in solingen making a multitool, would cost like 300 bucks and weigh a ton, but would be quite nice#:P

      No folding scissors are designed for cutting heavy materials IMO, so we’ll see how they truly perform in the upcoming scissors showdown video

    There are locking Victorinoxes and they're great, just like all Victorinoxes. They're also a lot less bulky than the Ruike. I definitely would pick a Vic over this brick.

    The serrated blade is for seat belts.
    The wire stripper discolouration was probably factory testing. Chinese wire is notoriously bad quality.

    No can opener for such a big tool. Big fail.

    • @backspace4203
      @backspace4203 2 года назад

      People discount the can opener, but it does a job nothing else will do well. Whereas a bottle can easily be opened with a bunch of things.

    • @gregtomamichel973

      I know many use a can opener, but I have never used one and it adds no value for me personally. Similarly with a saw, just not something I need.
