It is wonderful to be able to see a true restoration. So important to keep history alive. So important that true artisans are able to practice their trades so that their precious skills, as well as the buildings, are protected.
We agree - heritage is at the heart of our project and we are so proud of the people who are working every day to help us save Château de Purnon.
The château is in good hands for it’s respectful restoration with you both steering the way.

Hopefully the French Historical Society will grant you additional funds for the upcoming years! It is going to take a major benefactor to accomplish all of the restoration needs of the different buildings and out buildings!

I have watched explorer's go through Pernon prior to your arrival. They were all so very respectful of her and I was speechless then. I am relieved God chose such wonderful competent people. You are so lucky I didn't believe she could be saved or no one would be able to get to her in time. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH

As i have always said Purnon has found an amazing family. Im always blown away by the sheer willpower, love, respect and admiration you both possess for this historical, behemoth beauty.
To take the plunge on a place that had fallen so far from grace, whos future had only the bleakest of paths says alot about you guys and im in such awe and admiration of you both.
This is not a journey for the faint hearted but it is an adventure for those brave enough to tread it with the eyes to see beyond, willingness to listen and learn and heart that knows the sun always shines after the rain ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Could you imagine if the chateau would be self sustainable like it was when originally built could you imagine the out come it would be like all the old country estates in England where the farmers rent the farm and the house gets some of the profits and the rents from the farms I hear sheep are a good economic endeavor all that cotton it would be fabulous 🥰

Great work Tim & Flick. A monumental job. I have almost finished restoring the old National Bank in Euroa that was built in 1886, but it pales into insignificance compared to your task. I truly appreciate all the work you have both done, and will have to continue to do, and have just ordered a copy of the book for Christmas so I can read more details of your escapades.

Can't wait to look through the book, and of course catch more videos... If I ever won stupid money in the lottery, I would pack up and move to France to restore a chateau. Please have more videos about the restoration and work being done. Continuous talking was not a good video.
I found the conversation very interesting; I truly want to see them succeed, but I feel that I am being a grump in recent months because we simply do not know what is being done. A few video clips would be great. We have seen bees but no actual restoration of the roof and walls, which they mention here. 🇦🇺 I just don’t understand why they don’t show an work

I see the book is being offered which is a good thing but very disappointing to see what I assume is that we are to be lumped under the USA for shipping. Sorry that doesn't work for me I am Canadian.

You need to do weekly videos and make money. This video with off camera eye contact and the 2 of you separately talking to ? No one … really Hokey. And you’ve been in this long enough that you should have the rooms swept and cleared of rubble and odds and ends. Book idea great, that you’re not selling 500 signed and messaged for more $$$ shame … you have one of the largest and best estate château for private ownership … you should have a fall carnival on site or a Xmas decorators house show that has a outside Christkindlmarkt Raise money!
I think they are saving most their content for their Patrons, unfortunately.
