    One day I was very surprised to see my neighbour in France dressed in camouflage and Wellington boots. apart from the usual greetings nothing was said. The mailman who arrived whispered "champignons" , with a large 'wink,wink' ! Aha ! THAT is why she had her dog with her! So much more subtle than a pig! A 'side hussle' as they would say in America.

    Bonjour. Good to see a vlog featuring Serge and his wonderful dogs. His tours and truffles are excellence. I am reminded too of the RUclips château channel "Becoming Belebat" in which Oscar and you featured. Happy to see one of Serge's dogs finding a good home where he is loved. Bonne nuit from Normandie.

    She reminds me SO much of my first very own dog I got as a teenager, a lovely Bearded Collie who looked exactly like her as a puppy. 😍🥰
    What a fun activity for her birthday; dogs do love reconnecting with their dog family and learn from eachother.

      Get ready to have your MIND BLOWN because I have heard that in Germany the dogs respond to words in GERMAN! Amazing! And in Spain the dogs understand SPANISH! I know, how is that possible? Do these dogs roam about until they find a country where they understand the language? Nobody knows, and this has been going on for actual YEARS! This is right up there with Easter Island, Stonehenge and the Bermuda Triangle.

    • @heliedecastanet1882
      @heliedecastanet1882 Год назад +1

      Oh yes, it is a very, very strong taste, dear Sarah. Just use a tiny bit ! It is so strong that you can give eggs the taste of truffle just by locking fresh eggs (not cooked) in a small jar with a truffle. The flavour of the truffle will cross the shell and impregnate the eggs 🙂 That is saying something ! 🙂

      @heliedecastanet1882 Год назад +2

      @@KrisanthiaMum You can find some black American (Appalachians) truffles but, as the Chinese ones, the taste and flavour are and not very interesting. The white truffle can be found in Italy and France (around 2500$/lb), the black in France (1500$/lb). As you can see, it is a luxury product but the taste is so strong that you just have to use a few grammes to perfume a single dish.

  • @katehobbs2008
    @katehobbs2008 Год назад +3

    I cannot place this man’s accent. It seems to have an ancient remnant of Australian, overlay of British, a hint of German? Usually I can pick but not here! “Gunna try an do” has to be Australian? ‘Year’ sounds a bit S African.
