People get upset about Mariah throwing shade on Celine trying to belt with Aretha that night but that is just Mariah's respect for Aretha. Mariah is entitled to her opinion. I remember watching it live and the place where I was viewing it, WENT UP!!! We had a BALL watching this go down! We all said that Aretha had a fondness for Mariah and it truly showed! Aretha looks for ppl who can sing and come forth with it! It truly is something that a true singer respects and enjoys-the camaraderie of another fearless singer.
