I can honestly cry watching this. Like so many people do not know what this woman has been through just to be the icon that she is. People thought after her Breakdown in 2001 that Mariah Carey was over. People thought that she had hit rock bottom and there was no place else for her to go. However, in 2005 The Emancipation of Mimi put the queen back on her throne and showed people that she was stronger than anyone thought she was. She received 2 #1’s from that album and then came back in 2008 and got another #1 with Touch My Body, making her the solo artist with the most number one hits. To add, she wrote 17 of those 18 songs, one was a cover. Let’s give this queen her roses while she’s still with us. We did not do that with Whitney.
