So many ovens forgot the rolling flame. I made my oven with the chimney offset to the right side to encourage the flame right across the roof. And yes this is the first video to encourage the use of smaller wood for hot flame.

i actually am considering getting one for my fiancees parents. I have 4 ovens myself at home but they don't have one and this seems really versatile and the dimensions are also small enough for a 60x60 table

We wanted to make pizza again today, but unfortunately we realised that ants have taken over the Raptor (despite the cover). It's super difficult to clean as it has various double-walled areas that the ants obviously love. Even after flooding and rinsing it three times, ants keep coming out of the cracks. Unfortunately, they also took apart my Bake Cotto when cleaning it (it doesn't like water at all). I've now had the oven on full blast for a good half hour and, amazingly, ants are still coming out of the bottom.
Perhaps you could reconsider the product design for thorough cleaning
Hello,
We are really sorry to hear that this happened to you, however, we can't help you with your problem other than suggesting that you fire it up and leave it on max for longer than 30 min, so the oven really gets to the maximum temp. Try to rinse it with water but take the stone out! There are clear instructions that the stone must not be cleaned with water but with the process called "pyrolysis" where you clean the stone by heating it up.
