Thank you guys so much for how envolved you are in the community. Is so refreshing to see a company react and respond to there customers in the fashion shadow systems has carved out. I've been shopping for 9mm for quite a while now (because I'm super picky and spend far to much time on research) and have had only a couple of platforms that really jumped out at me as a decent quality built work of art. While shadow systems was unknown to me as of about a month ago I can say that after watching nearly every video you and other RUclipsrs have made with out a doubt my next handgun will be a shadow systems MR920. As a designer I often times get hung up on little things but it's the little thing that make or break a design. The level of engineering the whole shadow systems team had put into the product you produced is just amazing. Coupled that with tales of your outstanding customer support and the real question is why haven't I bought one sooner. Please don't dial it down ever. It's a company ethos such as your own that drives the competitive market but also allow people like myself to grab ahold of a million dollar product at an unbelievable price that I still can't afford... Yet! Soon very soon oh yes it will be mine. Thanks again please keep doing everything your doing!
My MR918 Elite's stock sights are PERFECT, but I do dig the fact that you all had the foresight to give us an alternate optics fitting, should we desire!
The more video's I watch the more I realize how good of a company this is. I personally do not own one of these weapons yet, but your video's just locked in the next purchase.
Had my Glock 45 MOS and XR920 beside each other. Honestly, the Glock MOS solution is an embarrassment in comparison. Revolutionary at the time, just like the Model T, but severely out of date now. Glock needs to license this. It’s seriously that huge. And by the way, the reason I had my G45 out was because the Holosun 507k came loose from shooting earlier at the range. I don’t see that happening with the Shadow Systems approach.
@ it's pretty badass. I'm not a pro and started shooting low left. I changed the backstraps and raised my point of aim higher. I have 470 rounds through it without any malfunctions. I think you'll be fine for conceal carry. It's a light pistol. I also love the magwell, I have medium size hands and it's perfect. I paid 700 and change out the door for the bronze barrel mr918. If you can find one hold it and see if you like it. I'm a sig fanboy but I love the mr918.
@ I found mine at the local gun shop. I did a ton of research before hand. Watched all shadows videos multiple times. Two stores here had them but one was significantly cheaper than the other. I got some B's reasoning why "it's harder to get ones with the black barrels that's why they're more". Total BS. Lol

For the RMR, they would perform equally well from an abuse/hard use perspective. Also, our new cut and old cut put the optic at the same low position in the slide.
I just picked up my new mr920 elite yesterday and I notice the slide to frame fit is pretty loose from the front end. The front end of the slide wobbles from side to side if I induce it. Is this normal for shadow systems quality control?
Great design but to think that i have to remove my optic every time i have to remove the extractor plunger assembly to do a proper cleaning really makes me sick

The expression was nothing but a metaphor but for some weird reason you let it ruffle your feathers so bad that you felt the need to attack me personally. The spacer is supposed to be a bit bigger than the space between the optic and the slide cut, as the compression of the spacer helps lock the optic in place. Install the spacer first and then seat the optic against the spacer and press into the optic cut. You should ditch the loctite and move to VC3. The mess is minimal and no crusties when you need to remove the optic.

Yes they do.
Yep. Along with abunch of backstraps that change grip angle to taste, and a flared mag well part should you choose to use it.

We do not currently plan to sell the MR920 frame as a standalone product.

Our standard warranty is 5 years...however, whenever possible, we will take care of a customer, unless there are obvious signs of abuse or misuse.
So are there different plastic inserts for each optic ? Or does one size fits all ?
3 spacers and 3 screw sizes, they have a chart on their site.

That's pretty normal for any polymer frame pistol
Just got an MR920L yesterday and I noticed the same thing. My G19 does it but to a much lesser degree. I think it’s probably normal- it shot great.

Disappointed with the optics cut so far. Cant get my delta point in. Spacer is too big.
