  • El Chapo was sent to the deadliest prison in the U.S. back in 2016. No one, and I mean no one, enters this prison and makes it out the same -- if they even make it out.
And in this video, we'll take a look at why El Chapo's supermax prison is WORSE than death... However, we'll do this without scaring you as we've spared you for all the violent imagery by blurring out any violence throughout the video.
Note that most of the footage used in the video is based on fictional tv shows like "El Chapo", we don't show any real violent footages, and we make sure to blur out anything to prevent any graphic scenes from being shown to the viewer.
While mentioning some sensitive events at 10 minutes in the video, we've sparred you for all the graphic details and scenery, as this wasn't deemed necessary for the purpose of the documentary, so we chose to only fleetly mention it.
Occasionally we use relevant actual footage, but we make sure to not show real life footage that shows violent or graphic details. We make an effort of blurring out anything necessary to make our content friendly for as many as possible.
    #history #truestory #educationalpurposes #historicaldocument #documentary #breakingnews
This video does not glorify violence. Violent words are bleeped or not included. No harmful actions are explained nor covered in details. All sensitive events are explained in an informational context for the documentary without being exploitative nor dismissive. The history of drug trafficking is explained in an educational context.
Our documentaries are strictly made for educational and informational purposes and do not in any way endorse this channels' views. We thoroughly research every video, do our own editing and narrating.

He certainly would bribe a couple of guards if that was enough to get out of there. American guards or not, El Chapo was a billionaire and could certainly buy his freedom if he offered the right amount of money. The problem is that in ADX Florence there are so many guards on duty at all times, so many cameras inside each cell with zero dead angles plus hundreds movement sensors that automatically set off alarms and emergency locks for all the doors... So even he was able to bribe one of the guards or even two or three , there are still dozens of guards on duty and all the high tech security mechanisms to deal with. He never had to deal with that sort of stuff back in Mexico: when he was at one of Mexico's max security prisons, after realizing his cell's position on the ground floor of the prison and that the camera inside his cell didn't film the toilet area, all he had to do was tell his people to find someone who could get them the prison's blueprint and then dig a hole to that exact spot. In ADX that's pretty much impossible, not only because prisoners aren't held on the ground floor but because the only small window inside each cell is positioned in a way that makes the inmate only able to see the sky, no matter what he does to peek outside. The rest of the facility has no windows, so inmates literally have no idea where they are even when they're allowed to come outside to exercise. Basically there's no way to get a reference point. So even in a cenario where the cartel sent a squad to the prison to set him free (it happens in Mexico with a relatively high sucess rate) and they managed to overpower all the guards, without a reference point and all the security mechanisms in place, they would waste so much time looking for his cell and trying to get him free that such operation would be doomed to fail 100% of the time

All you need are 50-60 high value American hostages. Maybe sons or daughters of diplomats, senators or major politicians.
With the way, the situation is in the US, it will not be that difficult to achieve.
Sure, you can defend Fort Carlson, but how many forts do you have? Are all of your loved ones living in that fort, or just your elites? With the amount of immigrants entering unfiltered in the US, all you would need is organized armed squads/sleeper cells of 5-6 operatives who each have a specific target to abduct. With the amount of wealth and resources, backing the cartels up, they can EASILY do this if they truly wanted to. But... you do not kill the golden goose now, do you?
The one mistake El Chapo did was not having anyone to back him after he was taken out. It is almost as if the people around him prefer him to not be there. I am sure there was some under the table deal for the new management to run the great leaf business more freely and ignore El Chapo's treatment in return.
That is the major issue with kingpins like him, they never build fanaticism amongst their followers. At least, not to the level where they would not reveal everything under heavy interrogation or be willing to turn entire cities into graveyards until their leader is freed. The ones who succeed in this, can usually not be taken out, unless you do it by drone or something.
It is a simple game of maths. How much are you willing to lose and how much can your opponent tolerate to lose before giving up. The US as a country has never had the stomach to digest major death figures for their army/other forces and this is the weakness that any enemy with some iota of common sense would utilize.

@@dr.bendover-md I speak as a life long, unabashed Liberal who is against both capital punishment and guns readily available to any "law abiding" nut case in society, who, until the time he pulls the trigger & killing many people is technically a "law abiding citizen," but who, in relaity, should never be allowed to just walk into any store and buy whatever guns he wants ---- because he is NEITHER a WELL REGULATED MILITIA as the Second Amendment stipulated NOR someone having gone through PROPER gun safety and mental health courses:
Any member of society who goes out of his way to plan and to carry out multilayered schemes to hurt & to kill other members of society, directly or indirectly as part of their life schemes.... has NO MORE civil or legal rights beyond the minimum that is required to make sure he has foods, shelter, and basic medicine to make sure he doesn't die from a lack of those three things.
Even among criminals, as noted here, there are a small percentage that is CLEARLY an outlier --- due to a combination of who they are and/or what they have as resources (in the outside world and, for some gang, even inside prison) --- who need 24/7 supervision, in more or less total isolation.
I doubt very much if you simply grabbed a gun, ONE of your most beloved and trusted "hunting gun," walked into the closes super market and shot dead 5 people.... that you get to be sent to this place where El Chapo is. Even if you said, in court, "I just felt like shooting some people."
In a place like this, again, you are not just some criminal; you MUST BE JUDGED by many people, in society at large and in the PENAL SYSTEM, to be an extremely dangerous criminal WITH THE MEANS to do LAYERED HARMS to other criminals among you, to security guards, and to the public...
When you are THAT KIND of a human being, again, you have pretty much forfeited all your humanity, AMONG OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.... beyond their willingness and/or ability to provide you with very basic food, shelter, and general medicine.... basic things that, remember, 99% of humanity didn't have up until the 20th century....
Up to the 19th and 20th centuries, remember, tens of millions of humans died from basic sickness, lack of foods, and lack of shelter.
Today, we will have millions of children around the world dying from lack of food and basic medicine.
IN SHORT, El Chapo and his colleagues at this extraordinary prison DO DESERVE their situation.
Again, when YOU DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER to plan to carry out activities and schemes to hurt other members of your species, you don't --- or your defenders, from members of family to professionals ---- deserve more than basic food, basic shelter, and basic health care without which you'd easily die.
You don't, as such a person, get to decide how you're treated, where you're housed, or why you don't get better food, better TV reception, better media access, better exercise facility or more frequent, more open/private chit chat with your families, friends, or lawyers...
Except for the 0.0001% or so who, for some series of extraordinary events, have been rail-roaded to these facilities --- found out years later, as it happens once in a while, due to the some level of corruption or obsolescence in our penal laws & penal system ---- 99.9999% of these "special" prisoners will never be "rehabilitated."
Society MAY, therefore, do the minimum to ensure their healthy and safety; but society should NOT be overly concerned with their mental health or other HUMAN QUALITIES that many average humans in society, in general, don't even get to enjoy, as members of the species who DO NOT go out of their way to plan to carry out acts & schemes to greatly harm other fellow members of the species....

It's great that there is a prison in this country that is fitting for the type of criminal whose actions have earned being put away from all of society. It's should be a place of fear for them. When in lesser secure settings they couldn't act as human beings then they have found a place that treats them as they thought they could treat others. Isolation from the rest of the world is their only fate other than a death penalty.

"After all, even criminals are still human beings."
Very interesting statement. Those kept at this particular prison aren't there because they were speeding, stole a loaf of bread, or raised their voice one time too many. They are there because -as you said in the video- "all they want is to see people suffer in the most sadistic ways." They're there because they have behaved in ways so sickeningly heinous that completely shutting htem off from society is the last available measure. They do this to themselves, and when given a choice they apparently always choose crime.
When Jabbar Currence is saying that the effects of his confinement were borderline personality disorder, schizoaffective disorder, a significant mood disorder, bipolar, and antisocial personality disorder he is straight up lying if he claims he ended up with that through his confinment. You do not develop those from being in prison, but you are a lot more likely to get into jail because you are suffering from them. But many of the inmates will blame everyone and their mother and then the kitchen sink for the fact that they're murderers, rapists, enz enz. They've never, ever taken responsibility for their actions, ever. And they never will. Like the guy at the end says, "They earn their way here."
As far as I'm concerned they keep them there to live out their lives. Yeah, maybe it's sad, but they're there because of the consequences of their own actions. I don't feel pity for them, but I feel sad thinking for the people whose lives were destroyed because of these monsters. Still human? Maybe theoretically.

human being are in 99% of the cases a social animal. When you forcibly remove any and all social interaction with other humans, then you for sure can develope a multitude of psychological disabilites.
Now, if that Jabbar Currence guy is lying or not, I cant speculate on, I've never heard of the guy. But there's no denying that being in solitary confinement over such extended periods of time is NOT beneficial to he human psyche.
Now, am I against keeping the most violent of the violent criminals in a place like this? well, yes, I'd rather them get the death penalty.

@stephen3293 Do I have to explain to you that the true leaders of the US and other countries are much bigger monsters, at a much larger scale? You're focused so much on these monsters, that you haven't even thought about the monsters who aren't only free, but run things. The tyrannical system despises any non-governmental entity that gets too powerful. That's really why they do it. Their egos are crushed when anybody defies their authority. Cartels are just another anti-establishment group that governments want to eradicate. But, that'll never happen. It's human nature to want to do whatever they want. And, a drug war to stop people from voluntarily putting what they want into their own bodies is beyond tyrannical. It's sick. They not only succeeded from banning drug contraband, but were successful in adding a stigma to it. But, think about it. Nobody had a problem with drugs until under a century ago. Before the drug war, there was no drug stigma in the illicit sense. Opium dens were as prevalent as brothels. Sure, there was a moral stigma attached to it, especially in the religious community. But, nobody was punished for buying pleasure. Religion and government are supposed to be separate, but they work in similar interests and influence. Sorry, Charlie, but nobody is telling me what I can do with my body. You can get mad all you want, but you can't stop the desire and ability for people to pursue various vices.
TLDR: The true leaders are far worse. Believe it.
