My experience with cleaning Macbook laptop aluminium is to mix Isopropanol, 20% distilled water and some drops of dish soap in a small spray bottle. It leaves no white color like 99% Isopropanol does.
I use this for cleaning all types of laptops and my glasses with too

dude can you please elaborate a little about those keyboard protectors? Do they worth it? Can you type properly with them on? bc they seem a good option to avoid little amount of water entering a laptop, and also may stop worn out of keys

covers are good. they leave imprint on screen. they also fall off because they arent attached.

Do you think that polish or even tooth paste can be an alternative?
