Yeah, I was thinking about the same, especially with thick parts. But small HSS bars etc. will cut through anyway despite the big feed. Maybe I add somewhow an additional fine feed screw and use the original screw for rough positioning. By using differential screws, one can use big threads for the ease of manufacturing and ridigity.
