Werewolf By Night is Marvel Studios' next title, coming to Disney+ on October 7, with Gael Garcia Bernal as Jack Russell aka Marvel's Werewolf By Night, a horror anti-hero who ties in with Moon Knight, Blade, and the Midnight Sons. This trailer is surprising fans with cameos by the TVA, Time Variance Authority, from Loki, as well as MAN-THING. Erik Voss breaks down the clues you missed in this trailer to explain what exactly Werewolf By Night is, and how it connects to the broader MCU.

Dang. Props to the director for being one of the cornerstones of the MCU. The fanfare is one of the most iconic things of the MCU. Love to see that he’s getting to do this too!
Absolutely love the schlocky horror vibe of the trailer, all the zoom ins, freeze frames, and cheesiness. Can't wait for this.
I would bet that there's one main monster that they're worried about and it just so happens to be that werwolf by night gets outed as well. It wouldn't surprise me if they were talking about a different monster not werewolf by night
Can you believe how many people were saying D23 was a big L when we have this masterpiece of a trailer? Lower them expectations folks. You'll be much happier.
Even Jack Russell who is pure of heart and says his prays By Night, will become a wolf when the wolfsbane blooms and the moon is full and bright
This is the trailer along with Secret Invasion that had me most hyped. And it comes out in less than a month. I am sad to hear we were suppose to get Blade but couldn’t get him because this would be perfect to introduce him to the MCU
When we first saw the trailer my husband and I were both like "are those TVA agents?" If they are I wonder why they're here and if this takes place before the events of Loki or after.
The "beast from folklore" art in the room with the TVA, is based on the Bayeux Tapestry (most English, maybe British school kids learnt about it), which was to commemorate the Conquest of England by William the Conqueror. Is was written in latin, but I don't think references any monsters.
That mural looks like the Bayeux Tapestry chronicling the invasion of England by William the Conqueror in 1066. Sometimes my art history degree comes in handy when watching the MCU!
Having the character’s name that plays the werewolf “Jack Russell” is too funny.
Five years ago, Universal tried making a Universal Monster movie in the style of the MCU. And now, Marvel Studios is making an MCU movie in the style of a Universal Monster movie. And it looks waaaay better.
I first thought that the guards are the tva agents but it seems that they're not. The armor is a lot different and they have just some normal electric sticks. However they seem to be a litle out of the place
The TVA with Kang is why the Mutants/Vampires etc didn't exist in the main story of MCU. The Loki series + Quantumania destroying/fighting Kangs control is whats going to merge everything together.
Gael is really one of the best actors! He is going to be amazing in this!! It feels so vitange and grindhouse like.
This makes me so happy. I hope this is just the beginning of Marvel taking some big swings playing with different genres. MoM was a nice start but this looks so fun.
How many times must I remind folks: THERE’S A NIGHTMARE DEPT IN THE TVA. Rewatch Loki ep 1. That’s where we are here, betcha. Also I love Ryan Arey’s idea that the TVA is prob in the Quantum Realm. Boy are things gonna start linking up fast!
