Sometimes It is not only about how u answer the question correctly...For me..It shud come with a complete package How U deliver the answer with confidence but not over confident sincerity compassion attractive lovable attractive warmth personality passion u are more connected to the audience positive attitude I could see Miss Jamaica had all of these criterias and Thats why She Won. Same goes to Miss World 2019 also from Jamaica. If Philippines answered her question with the same vibe n approach like Jamaica did...probably its difficult for the judges to choose. Miss Gutierrez from the Philippines and Miss Hanna from Jamaica both brought unique qualities to the competition, each representing their own cultures and beauty standards, but I honestly I don’t feel as though either of the other finalists matched Ms. Hanna’s beauty or her elegance 😊
Philippines gave the best answer here, base on conviction and confidence but jamaica is very sincere and she revealed inner depths. She really deserved the title! Besides Ruffa Is from a Rich Family and a Well known host and Actress up until now in the Philippines, the MWO just dont want a diva with Tantrums 😁
Jamaica's 🇯🇲 question was odd because why would anyone do that? Each contestant is already a winner in their country and they all worked hard to be there and represent to the best of their ability.
Watching this 30 years later…ummm, how did Philippines only end up in third place? What a spectacular answer!! My picks would have been: (1) Philippines; (2) Jamaica (what a humble, natural beauty); and (3) South Africa. It’s shocking that Philippines was overlooked when they sent such a spectacular candidate and Jamaica had already won twice before. Don’t get me wrong, I love Lisa Hannah, but Ruffa’s 3rd place is just mind-boggling.
I think Monica Lei from Venezuela is the winner of Miss World 1993. But I thought that Monica's behavior test was not good, so I let my opponent, Miss Jamaica, be crowned.

Most of the judges were from South Africa, and there's one Jamaican as well...How can Philippines win the pageant with only one asian judge Mr. Jacky Chan, and yet Jacky Chan is from different nationality...It was a cooking show pageant and South Africa was one of the ugliest, never deserve to be on the spotlight...Only Philippines deserves the crown with that exceptional beauty, poise,very witty....
