My teachers never could watch me sit in the back or know I was sent next door while there was any type of holiday party related stuff going on. They would wait until the class left for lunch and let me eat my cake/ice cream. Bless those teachers.
My mom is like that too. She's a teacher and yes she had experiences with JW youngins in her class. Always invited them and honor them during holidays and birthdays, and even their JW parents because it's just the responsible thing to do. It's just common sense really.

Yes, I was! This reminded me of the freezing cold days, I would be standing in the train station selling Watchtowers with my Charlie Brown boots on. That was one of many goofball moves I've made. 😂
We were all indoctrinated. It doesn’t make us stupid. Many of us were born in, others came into later under the premise of believing in the “hope” they offered. We didn’t know it was a business dressed as a religion. Don’t be too hard on yourselves.

Weakness is often a sign of insecurity. Seneca believed that those who are cruel are attempting to assert their power or control over others in order to make up for their own feelings of inadequacy or weakness. For example, a cruel dictator may use fear, cruelty, savageness or violence to control their people, because he/she/it feels insecure about their own power and needs to prove to themselves/itself and others that they are in control. Similarly, a bully may torment others because they feel insecure and powerless in their own lives.

I know several Witnesses. One cuts my hair. But I'd never discuss any religious topic with any of them because you can't argue with stupid. One lady I know divorced her husband who she claimed beat her, then remarried him because her elders threatened to kick her out if she didn't. She has been estranged from her son and her grandkids for several years now because she kept trying to convert them. Her son called it a cult and she seems indignant, just shocked that her son thinks she is in a cult. He was brought up in that environment and left as son as he left home.

Way back at my job I didn't celebrate burthdays. One nurse asked me why and i explained to her about the horrible incident that happened in the Bible when John was beheaded on the Queen's birthday. She immediately said to me that nobody Is going to cut anybody's head off now at a birthday party. I clearly saw the idiotiosy of my argument at this moment.

I am soo happy that i never got baptized! And i was raised in this organization and never got baptized, people were pressuring me so much and i never gave in. Even at a young age i always felt the organization moved funny.

It's not a spidey sense the elders pray to God about the person. It's a organization that's run by God, he is deciding if the person is ready to be reinstated... Nobody has any extra ability to do anything.

When I was a jw,I used to read in the bible about " acquiring wisdom"" but I never was wise ,,my brain was brand new ,,never used it while jw..made lots of stupid decisions ,and the years a spent acquiring wisdom were never there ...

If you look into it the watchtower organisation has been found not reporting 1800 child sex accusations that have been expressed to elders . And victims have been advised to be quiet so it does not hurt the watchtower in brooklyn ...there was a huge case.

Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.

Its a true shame that people who joined the JWS didn't realize this organization via the Watchtower Corporation was rooted inherently in false prophesying apostasy going back to the late 1800's.
There is direction given in the bible about how to identify false prophets and how to treat them , such as do not listen to them. Didn't Jesus say that no one knows of the time not even he ??? 🤔
These leaders came up a whole strings of self supporting propaganda doctrines such as since they themselves are preaching the Gospel that indicates that mankind is living in the last days, particularly since 1914. The President of the WTS./JWS J Rutherford proclaimed the Jehovah had chosen them in 1919 because they were preaching a true and accurate version of the Gospel, they weren't according to the bible. 😳
Thats why the leaders of the JWS (GB) have been stridently trying to hide that information from its members for decades about the organization preaching and teaching of Pyramidology I just learned about it myself only about 10 years ago on the inter net. I would call it opportunistic corruption and coercive deception by these leaders to attract attention to the literature the WTS published and lure in followers to convert them into subservient slaves and also take money from them. 😳
If the gb are the only ones on earth who communicates with God, no needs for jws to confess their sins in the back room of the hall. Telepathically the gb should know all just like God when He gives them the latest updates who sinned during their regular spiritual conversations.

I hear over and over how people left JW's Org which is a good thing. I hear how ex members feel as if they were victims in some way expressing that moreso experiences dissing Watch Tower now. I NEVER hear these ex members apologizing to their families and friends or general public outside of the org that they TREATED BAD following that org.
How you used to Shun folk, ignore, look down on as if they were trash. You going to hell mentality not being apart of the Org. Being involved for DECADES and DECADES in that Org so you know you mistreated alot of people especially a member of your own blood family that left or was disfellowship or never was apart of that Org.I believe all of you former JW's need to make a video apologizing to everyone for treating them as you did being apart of that org.
You out now; considered the very same as all those folk you mistreated. Tell your story on how you sorry for shunning your son/daughter, aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, sister, niece, nephew, your neighbor, co worker etc... Acting if you were so much better and different all these years coming to this section I never heard any one do a video thinking about the people they mistreated.
But keep expressing how WT all of a sudden mistreating them, you realizing they was WRONG and are this and that a cult. We already all know that! you really want to heal based on what they done to you as a former JW, then you must help those same people heal from your mistreatment to them.

Context. To some people it is stupid. To some people, it is great. They need someone or thing to control them. Reality is very harsh so need a delusion like eternal life, to comfort them. I respect that so I have no issue with them keeping ahold of religion. Except when they act like scholars and intellectuals or try to debate real scholars.
