- I got a rotisserie for Christmas. It runs on 2 D batteries. It was crazy easy and I am very happy with it. The pork over an open fore was amazing. It even had a smoke ring. It was way easier than I thought and it performed beyond my expectations. Who knows about the longevity of the product but we ran it for about 5 hours on two batteries and it didnt run low. So far I would recommend it.

The food this weekend was awesome
Agreed
When you put your beer down, did it occur to you, "Gee, Maybe I should've turned off the rotisserie motor while checking the temperature. "
Ha

@@bnsf9161 nice
Is there anyway of keeping the noise down on the motor.
Unfortunately no but we didn’t find it to be all that intrusive.
@@bnsf9161 I bought this today off Amazon after watching this review. I would of liked it to be smaller but this is the best I found and sometimes we just gotta haul around heavy sh!t if we wanna eat good food. Nice review buddy.
@@johnnygreenshirt6215 cool man! It’s not a backpack kit for sure. But if you were in the right kind of area you could always source the second pole from the woods to reduce weight.
@@bnsf9161 As in a piece wood as a pole? If so would it not burn or is it far enough away from the coals?
@@johnnygreenshirt6215 I believe you could use a green stick and get away with it pretty well. Don’t forget your foil heat shield for the motor. You will burn it up for sure without it.
