This channel is becoming a "variety show" that's somehow, entirely keeping within a single theme and mood, and yet incredibly varied in it's forms of media. There's lore, fandom, gun-nut stuff, music, poetry, and original composition. And all of it feels dark, niche, and obscure. I love seeing what you've done with the place in the last year. :)
Getting away from greentexts and doing what I really want to do has been the best thing I've done for the channel. Thanks for sticking around so long, man.
i think i saw this concept in like, art theory ? (it was on a video about art) and it said that when creating a niche you have to combining it to other, not niche things in order to be appealing and to be relatable (for example VAs using greentexts prompts) but what burialgoods is making is i think creating a niche, which is incredible to see, those new colors, new sounds, new shapes, can't appreciate it enough ^^
The year is 1968. You are a CIA special operative floating down the Mekong River searching for Colonel Kurtz. You cannot escape the horror. The horror.
@@CrabO2 It's a direct line from a movie called "Apocalypse Now." Don't ask any more about it, go watch it. Anything else anyone might say in the comment section runs the risk of being spoiler. :P The movie has 7 different endings, so if you can, rent or buy the Special Edition DVD with all the different directors cuts included. You won't come away feeling like he same person you were, before you saw it. :)
I love Apoc Now because I try to figure how my father fit into the insanity of the Vietnam War. He luckily survived a tour in '69 as a Green Beret officer. I figure he was probably most like Willard, but had bits of Kilgore in him. He is 78 years old now and still rolling.
This channel has only one theme: obscurity. Nothing is ever the same. Everything is similar, yes, but one video may be reading a greentext, the next, shooting some targets, and after that, some uncomprehendable bullshit human eyes were never meant to see. And every day, day after monotonous day, I love it.
It's so interesting how the first sentence gives a feeling that that 'thing' was so horrifying that you will never be able to forget it, yet the second sentence gives a feeling that that thing will always be after you, even though it could very easily be the other way around. Just goes to show humanity's inherent fear of the unknown.
@@Jsisbskanndnd has it started suggesting the restoration of Call Me by Alvin and the Chipmunks thats slowed down to the speed they recorded it at the end yet? It suggests it to me everytime i watch this again 🤣
This half of the channel reminds me a lot of the experimental BBC stuff that would end up on PBS right before signoff when I was like 3 at the end of the 70s. It's intriguing to never know what the hell you're watching but having it feel very familiar.
From Sermons, To Emperors, To Shitposting. Truly the Voice Actor Journey. Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy this variety, most certainly a welcome change of pace to how boring YT usually is. Keep it up :)

@@burialgoods Then we are brothers!
