@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids Hello...FN. Most of my White Phalaenopsis Orchids are blooming at the moment....So interesting... Bye...Dear FN. Have a lovely Saturday morning in Portugal...FN💕💞💕
Hey FFF!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️😍Different emojis as I am on an old computer at the moment 😠 I love how your's bloomed so late in the season and then lasted all through winter! That really goes to show, it doesn't matter when these guys decide to bloom, they will bloom and still have the blooms last so long! That was a nice surprise 😊 Thank you for doing this video... it was nice to see the blooms without having to look at pictures (as in my case) Next up? ... 😅 maybe we have to rally the troops on another orchid? No pressure! 😜 Wishing you a wonderful day! We have sunshine, no wind and it is 20ºC!! Por fin! Busy day today, playing catch up at my end... firing up the mic, and charging the camera. I really appreciate this CareCollab... so many channels participating... awesome! 👍🏼 much love to you meine liebe Freundin! Asante sana rafiki yangu 😍❤️
🦒🙏😀!!! I still have a few blooms left, they don't want to go 😂 They were not many, just two clusters, not that I am complaining. Orchids bloom when they bloom !!! Funny thing, I had 2 clusters on same cane as the year before and the one before that when I bought it!!! Mine always blooms much later than everyone else's so they last longer as well. Yay, CareCollabs are going full steam ahead 🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️ I have a few schedulled already. After Neofinetia and before VR with you and two more channels I still have jiminey cricket and Catt.sta Barbara sunset. Not to mention Dendrobium aggregatum sometime in March. And just now Maykel said he is going to do Dendrobium loddigesii so I will join in. How wonderful, spring is getting there already. I thought as much as I heard the Algarve is having nice temps too. Here is warmish enough but a bit windy and a shower now and then. Enjoy your day and keep it rolling 😂😂 Mingi hugggsss 😍😍🤗🤗
Very enjoyable video Fernanda, and a beautiful orchid! I grow my Hibiki somewhat like yours, hanging in a snug little basket, and the blooms still won't let go. A most rewarding orchid, a must for any collection!
Hi Anne, so glad yours is blooming for you too. And yes, they love to be snug and cosy, love to know yours like it that way too. I love long lasting bloomers. Hope you are doing well and wish you a wonderful coming weekend ❤️😍
Good day. Sharing my support . Im a new friend here now . See you at my Home. wishing you success and more additional true friends to come. God Bless Us Always
This one you can only find in nurseries but it is so beautiful and very easy to grow although I bit prone to mealys. I have managed to have mine free of them but I am all over it like a hawk 😂😂. Thank you for being here for me Primrose, much appreciated 😍😍😍
Such an exquisite orchid dear Fernanda it was interesting to hear how you grow adn take care of this beautiful species. I hope you are doing well and big hugs from Canada.
Obrigada e beijinhos 💖💖💖
This Dendrobium is really worthwhile !!! I love it and everybody says it is easy to care for. Thank you for watching Michelle and have a pleasant day 😍😍
I bought the Dendrobium Hibiki yesterday with no flowers, but it has a keiki that is making a new cane. I read that they like warm and humid conditions. It was recommended to me after I had some success with the Kingianum.
Hi Joe, you will love the hibiki. My climate is not very warm during summer but not very cold in winter. Still I bring it indoors during the coolest months of the year. However indoors is not very warm either, going down to 15 C (59F). It seems to be ok with it. Enjoy your Hibiki, soon it will be blooming for you. Happy new week 💐🥰
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchidsI removed two keikis from a cane, but now it's making four more. I thought they were flower buds at first, but one has roots now. Would you know if it's possible for buds to turn into keikis? Should I stop fertilizing when the buds start? From this video, it looks like the blooms are at the top of the canes, but I thought they grow only from the sides of the canes.
@@Joe-nj3bb Hi Joe, good morning!!! I am wondering if you got my response to your latest message, as I realized it vanished. So I wonder if you got it or if did not stick at all. It has happened to me before, I hate these RUclips glitches 😥😥 So just in case you did not get it, here goes another reply. When the buds start they are dark red and they take a while to develop into a short spike with several flowers. New growths are green from the start. I never had a bud turning into a keikis in what hibiki is concerned but I have had with my Dendronium nobile species last winter so it might have happened with your hibiki too. I never stop fertilizing hibiki because it is a continuous grower but in winter I reduce the fertilizer amounts because of lower day length and lower temperatures. Although I bring it indoors during winter, temperatures in the house can get to 15 C / 59 F for several weeks. As for the buds, they can grow anywhere on the canes, using every node still availabale, therfore either on top, the middle or the bottom. I hope this helped and I hope this message will get through to you. Have a great rest of the week 🥰🥰😍😍
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids Thank you for replying. It currently has two canes with two growths on each which I thought were buds but then one started to make roots. Maybe I stop fertilizing or watering too much? I spray the top of the pot twice a day, sometimes even more. I have uploaded a public video of the Hibiki with closeups of the buds or keikis.
Hi Glória!!!This Dendrobium does not need a strict dry winter, it just needs to be slightly drier. I bring it inside only during winter and due to colder temperatures they don't need as much watering. Then I water every 8 to 10 days. But the room where it lives in winter is not much heated, the air is not dry, humidity in the air is high especially during rainy períods and that also counts, the médium takes longer to dry out than if I had it in a warmer and drier environment due to heating. If more information needed I will be glad to clarify. Thank you for watching and getting back to me, much appreciated ❤️
I really like the bright pink flowers on this one!
It is a Nice one to have, easy to grow and any easy bloomer. Wish you a great day ❤️😍
