Saddle Mountain in the Oregon Coast Range

Join me as I explore stunning Saddle Mountain, the 2nd highest peak in Oregon's Coast Range. This under-the-radar hike offers a well-maintained trail and breathtaking cliff-edge views. Located just 8 miles inland from Seaside and the Pacific Ocean, the sometimes steep-and-narrow trail is well worth it for the panoramic scenery. I didn't reach the very top this time due to icy conditions, but it's definitely on my to-do list for warmer months.
