i love the sound when she touches the side of the piano to quiet it for the start of horses. i hear that sound so many times during her first few albums.. and those little clicks at the start of Boys for Pele, the random hisses, her breathing, the sound of spit on her lips when she sings the words "baker baker" on Under the Pink. can't explain why i love those noises so much, they just feel so organic. i miss them, those little details are "cleaned up" on her albums now.
God, this has always been one of my favourite songs of hers but this takes it to a whole new level *0* that's one of the things I (and probably many others) love about her : how she lets her songs evolve and they're never quite the same.
Oh how I do love watching you straddle that piano bench, madam! Such exquisite beauty and madness all rolled into one. I've loved you since I was 15. 28 now and you're still a goddess! Much love from Houston.
Such a beautiful song on its own but with hints of Fool on the Hill..one of my favourite beatles tunes...its just heaven. And love that sweater!!! *glee*
This is footage from the Dutch musicprogram "2 Meter Sessies" with Jan Douwe Kroeske. They have been making some amazing musicrecordings since 1987. If you look for "tori amos 2 meter sessies" you will find more like this :)
I struggle to put into words the wonderful way her voice and piano playing resonate with my emotions, heart, and soul. So good. So beautiful and powerful.
~*`And if there is a way to find you, I WILL find you, but will you find me if Neil makes me a tree An Afro, a Pharaoh I can't go, you said so But threads that are golden don't break easily`*~
Whomever has these gorgeous Gems/rarities of Tori Amos..........WHERE did you find this? I missed the opportunity to see her in her younger days and these videos make me feel like I missed out big-time. This year started off horribly with Neil Peart's passing and has gotten progressively worse. Tori's music is helping me to get through the strange and difficult time.
this has always been on of my favorite songs by her. when i do photography of landscapes i have this playing in my ear from my ipod. i wish i could put this version of it in there. do you know where i can find a downloadable mp3 of this version? i am about to go to england to do a photography project and this would be perfect!
Sorry, I'm gonna get Tori crazy. Anyway, she did not want to teach tash to play when she was three, and she could not find a piano instructor who would teach such a young age. So, Tori put on a béret, and became Ms. Paris. The interview this is from was Tori with Ryan Seacrest. Anyway, it is a EXTREMELY FUNNY interview; I love Tash. She will be an amazing woman someday.

Emily S i agree
Ditto ❤️ 💫
A decade late, but also when she lets go of a pedal and you hear it clunk. :)
Would have loved to sit on a pebble beech on a warm summers evening, having a drink, and chatting to this girl. What a talent.
Tori puts her heart and soul into every performance she does. This is why she is so great.
Jim Morrison said that you should do every performance like its your last one, she always does

3:20 - 3:30
Some of the moments in Tori's music literally take my breath away
She is so nice.......some of the greatest talents on this planet......

Such a beautiful song on its own but with hints of Fool on the Hill..one of my favourite beatles tunes...its just heaven. And love that sweater!!! *glee*
And look at her go even when her headphones fall down, not missing a note. It's so natural for her.
I just love this so much. Audio-wise, and video-wise. She is such a treasure

Musical Genius, I love Tori Amos Music!
I struggle to put into words the wonderful way her voice and piano playing resonate with my emotions, heart, and soul. So good. So beautiful and powerful.

I love when she drops her headphones, and she's still playing perfectly.

WOW WOW WOW !!!
2020 anyone? Or 2021?
Is she referring to President Bill Yards, the 54 President? Or my last name, is "top of the hill in Irish"?
Does Bill Yards ever really evove or just blow up things and change colors and styles?
oh my
it's easy like 1,2,3
but will you find me-
if I made it. "yes"
haha im hereinmyhead102 now :P I liked 101 better myself
Well she's older now, and she's had work done . . . which makes her look a lot more - well - odd . ..
She is so passionate in concert like she is making love to her piano
she tries to rub herself against the chair.
I would too if I was in the midst of such beautiful sounds! Lol
Then obviously you've never heard that sound...cause I have, and this ain't it.

Looks like you're having trouble too, maybe you should stop pointing fingers at others until you sort it out.
Evolve...
Accountability... to immigrants
I agree with others...Tori seems more sedate and less frenetic/passionate now. Maybe it's the inevitable effects of being a mother.
