We deal with the same criminals. Someone has to be robbed first, murdered first, before cops get involved. In a state where concealed carry is restricted, citizens deal with the same criminals except unarmed, and no backup.
Nah officers ought to thank us for their jobs, equipment, and retirement paid for by our tax dollars. Nothing cops or bloated government does can't be privatized thereby costing tax payers less resulting in less inflation.

Wow I used to live near that corner for about 5 years. I drove down that street all the time to go to a little breakfast diner, that's super crazy. Glad the Police are safe and executed their mission successfully.

Some of us still remember when Tucson PD covered up child trafficking at a cemex plant and kicked out VOP (veteran's on patrol). They had the entire site bulldozed within a week and never performed an investigation.
I live in Tucson and I know the exact spot where this shooting happened. Campbell and Grant Road are close to the main Banner University Hospital and the University of Arizona. Generally speaking it's actually one of the safest areas in town. I would expect to see a shooting like this on Tucson's Southside, so seeing it happen here is shocking. 😯
That particular area is pretty safe I live near there but if check the crime map of Tucson majority of the gun related homicides have been on the north side this year.
Calling hands up while shooting at the person with an assault rifle........That is culture and civilization and that is a sign of the special intelligence of the police officer and his masters who taught him that way. It is also often seen how people who have been shot by the police are treated as if nothing had happened and that they were still able to do everything without any problems that a person can do without a bullet in their stomach, for example.

It's impossible to overstate how much body cams, dash cams, and the like have changed policing. The truth is a matter of fact now. Best thing to happen to policing in the US maybe ever
The interesting thing with SWAT is you get a different perspective, their cameras are on their helmets instead of on their chests. You get a better view from the car, for example, of the approach to a scene, as opposed to the normal body camera view of the steering wheel and a sliver of sky visible out the window.
Imagine getting rear ended at high speed by some asshole and before you have time to even process what happened you look over and see him getting lit up by a whole SWAT team

Malfunction caused by the close proximity of the ejection port to the car door. Gotta watch out for that one! We used to train to clear it with the instructor intentionally causing a jam with a stick haha
