    He's vastly underappreciated/undersung. He does get a moment of glory in Stanley Kramer's, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963) and it is an epic moment of cinema.

    Considering Curly Joe felt the Stooges weren't funny at all, I'm surprised he stayed with them at all. But then again he kept Moe and Larry employed, so that was the main thing. Because of his resemblance to the original Curly, he shaved his head in order to look like him. But at least he didn't drink himself to death because he felt insecure about his appearance or the fact he felt unappealing to women the way the original Curly did.
