This is a little inaccurate. I was watching the show live when the incident occurred. He interviewed a man and the man said in reply I love my wife very much to which Groucho said well I love my cigar too but I take it out every now and then. That is the absolute fact and the way it occurred immediately. Within two seconds the show went dark and Groucho went off the air. I remember every minute of it and this is the way it happened.

It's too bad that 1/2 of the jokes are demeaning women, but the other jokes and his charisma are so hilarious!
