Jonathan Stenvall sits down with CAPTAIN FANTASTIC stars Samantha Isler, Annalise Basso & Shree Crooks in this backstage interview to talk about first reading the script, learning survival skills, and singing on set
Synopsis:
Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, isolated from society, a devoted father (Viggo Mortensen) dedicates his life to transforming his six young children into extraordinary adults. But when a tragedy strikes the family, they are forced to leave this self-created paradise and begin a journey into the outside world that challenges his idea of what it means to be a parent and brings into question everything he's taught them.

So I have to infer your actual point you want to make by stating the obvious. I'm guessing you just wanted to share that you don't find her extreme emphasis on "whole _entire_ life", as if it were an extremely long time span, funny. Okay, duly noted.

They shot this movie on location in our forest near Index, WA not too far from where we live off-grid. We waited for it to come out but it was a very limited release -- too offensive from what I understand.
We finally saw the film a few days ago. It's good but a little depressing and contrived at times. The cremation scene is one of the best scenes in the film.
By the way, you can not live in this forest they way the movie depicts. This is a dark rain forest. It rains all the time and we're under 5 feet of snow for most of the winter. When the sun comes out then it looks just like in the movie, but the sun does not come out very often.
My son worked at that grocery store (in Gold Bar) when they were filming. He was hoping to meet Viggo, but it didn't happen.

what i want to know if did they meet the mom. cus she came out in the in the dads dream so did they meet her in real life when their where making the movie and what did they think of her.
If she died in the movie, surely none of the actors met her. Bizarre question.
Well I think it's a great question. I also happen to love bizarre inquisitiveness. @Nefswar Nwo - The answer is yes! They met the mom from the movie. The actress who played the mom is called Trin Miller.

Dark side of the moon
all the kids are blond/red haired Aryans, i love them all by sight, actors or not, what an amazing family the writer/director/producer created, i dreamed of such a family from my own childhood, yearned, and longed for it. the character roles are perfect and i hope based on somewhat a true story of home-schooling and demonstrating the challenges of single parenthood and the trauma of how families get hurt, even the best when Leslie dies. this film came out while began studying my own Aryan heritage and the hardships we endured living in Asgard and Midgard before Nazis Christianity, and cultural upheaval of invasion from the south/middle-east. i can only spoil these children and do in real life when i see beautiful Aryan children giving gifts and acting like a push-over, at festivals and airports i act like some soft hearted clown and giving gifts and telling stories from travels etc. the song reflects this sentiment with the line about blue eyes and the sky and the love of these skythean gems of Nordic genes. finally some actors who aren't Jewish ... yes i love my race because travel has taught me hard lessons on life.

@@cliffordhill6916 Obsessing about physical traits and celebrating that they aren’t Jewish is weird. Hits a little too close to home with regards to Nazism and the Holocaust. Most people understand that.
