- In response to a question about how to communicate with our African deities, guides & ancestors, Zanemvula breaks down her understanding of communication modalities that we've practised for thousands of years from pre-colonial Africa to today in our various African cultures. Here are the fundamentals of connecting with your higher self, your ancestors and our African Gods and Goddesses.

I also literally had a vision where I'm taking notes in a class. I love learning and I can teach this to my daughters. The world was too strife and effort focused, I feel a push towards a heart led new-world-order is on the way...may God and our deities help us 🙏🏽

I am of African descent however was born in the United States. Understanding we are American without privilege and African without connections to our roots and ancestral ways. I have been discovering and self-educating on as much African History, World history and bringing other concepts together to really find the truth behind my existence and my purpose. Being detached, divided and even having a tainted bloodline from colonialism makes this journey necessary and I thank you for light, insight, knowledge and strength. Speaking on hidden truths in history and enlightening people is a dangerous tasks.

@@ankhkezn984 I have mixed view about Christianity! I believe the Bible has stories and lessons from our ancestors however it has been stolen from our ppl and re written to enslave our minds and culture from who we really are. Christianity is one of many beliefs and perspectives that holds truth but isn’t enough for me personally.
So to answer your question, in my opinion any belief system that enlightens and educates a person to behave righteously is winning but not I don’t believe Christianity personally is for people of African descent. I prefer a spiritual practice without feeling indoctrinated and I can’t submit to what an oppressor suggested. Don’t sit well with me. I’ll do my own research and let my soul tell me what’s right or wrong not other ppl!

As a child I was always drawn to certain elements like feathers, rocks, huge old trees and I could sense a life in them. I was very intuitive when I was younger but slowly it was schooled out of me by western logic. When my sense of spirituality was drained it felt like part of me shut down and I lost a huge part of my identity and way of seeing the world. I think spiritual colonisation is a huge part of cultural genocide. But for many of us melanated people we were born knowing our truth we just have to tap into it

Start with counting your blessings by expressing gratitude
Use it as a therapy session & ask questions. To get answers create a relationship with them, create a language and look out for the signs, listen to your gut.

Sbonge Nkosazana, this is really helpful now I know what to do. I have been interested in astro projecting from a young age but never went deep because of being afraid of getting lost. What started as simple early morning meditation and ended up as a projection, I was all over the place and ended up being drawn to a place I didn't understand. I had finally tapped out of Christianity to Egyptian ancestors and my favorite is MUT . Her Deity is The Vulture. Together with IsIs and Nekhbet they form name The Great Mother and Lady. Mut-IsIs-Nekhbet

I seen a two visions ,one had been King Hor with the Ka ,the second had been Auset with a throne on her head kneeling with one knee up . I then found two feathers 🪶 one is a Falcons and the second is a black vulture. These visions and feathers are messages I'm curious to know more about.

I had a visit from an entity in a dream that presented itself as a mambo (voodoo priestess) shuffling tarot cards, laid out a spread for me and warned me about people who had ill intentions towards me, and what they were conspiring in secret, everything it said came true, ultimately gave me a heads up and I was able to get one step ahead of these people, but too this day I still can’t figure out who this entity was other than it was a messenger of voodoo deities, information on these deities however is so vague made it impossible to find confirmation on who this was.

If you know your parent's names refer to them as mother of (your parent's name), father and forefathers of (your parent's names). Hope that helps.
