Those homes are beautiful in Florida. I like 4 car garages. Right now, I'm hogging up our garage now ( lol ) . hubby truck can't fix into the garage.

Hi and warmest regards from New Zealand. I am a huge fan, and though I have only recently discovered your channel I am now binge watching them all. My favourite of your episodes are the long cart drives through the villages. I always 'ride' with you right to the end and am often quite sad when they are over. They are so much fun to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed your wander through Walmart too - that was a great episode - more of the same please. Like you Linda, I am a very petite 4'11" and never get to see what is on the top shelf. I found it quite hilarious to see everything from a 6-foot plus perspective. Looking forward to your next journey through the villages.

These cart rides are the best! We always appreciate the tours as we consider various villages for our future move to join both of you as we leave Iowa behind. Not quite sure $1.2 mil is in the budget though. Would enjoy future tours in the $300-500k range for us "common folk" - Thanks, as always, and have a good weekend!
You have touched on it several times but would you consider a deep dive on the bonds? Annual payments, interest rates, do they ever "re-bond" or implement another after the original is paid off, how\who decides how much a bond is (by neighborhood, local government, the villages owners etc), what do the bonds pay for, etc. Thank you, love your videos, give gizmo a pet for us.

We loved the cart ride and seeing the beautiful homes. I am sure you are right about the costs of maintaining those homes! I can only imagine what the water bill runs. But my husband, Al, reminds me, if you can afford a house like that, you don't worry about the water bill. LOL 💗

I just found your channel....gosh I feel homesick watching your videos. I grew up in Florida and have been to the Villages a few times when my now deceased husband was hired to replace siding on a few of the manufactured homes. I currently live in southern Indiana, recently became a widow and just turned 56 years old. I have been thinking about selling the farm and moving back to Florida. I would love to live and retire in The Village's. Maybe one day it will happen, until now I will keep watching your videos and dream.

Thanks for the home show. They are amazing. Can never get one but we certainly wouldn’t love it. I want to live there so much but hate leaving friends and family. Actually would only be 1 he and 15 min away. We live in Spring Hill. And 1 hr closer to my oldest son who’s in lake city where our grandkids live. So maybe not so bad after all. Just gotta get the nerve up to do it. We even have friends there too in Lynn haven We have stairs and just can’t stand them anymore. It’s so beautiful there. Well enough of me. U two are great. Coming next Saturday for A lifestyle visit, Can't wait to ride around in the golf cart. Especially up by the Saddlebrook golf course. I think that's where the cart path goes thru all those trees

the golf course houses are nice…but like someone mentioned on their video about these homes, people might forget that the greens have to be mowed and manicured quite early in the mornings before golfing begins, so might be a „noise“ you weren`t thinking about.
Lovely cart ride. It is always so pretty. Linda has mentioned Bealls before and recently a location was added to our town of Greeneville TN. I will be checking that out. Have a great time with the grandkids.

Beautiful neighborhood and thank you for a yet again great video. 15 thousand vets live in the villages yet they won’t accept VA loans which I find very discriminatory as myself and my husband are both vets and have never had an issues in buying a home using our very well earned benefits. This is a deal breaker if we want to buy a new home or one that is listed by the Villages real estate professional. The developers need to rethink their thought process. Just saying.

Because, I have a Job in Pompano Beach, Florida. I see your Folks showing the houses are very Expensive. I am regretting. Currently, the Houses in THE VILLAGED IS TRIPPLE PRICES NOW. Nice ride and the homes are beautiful in that neighborhood, but wow lots to maintain. I noticed some solar power. I wonder how many of the newer builds are offering that as an option. Seems like it should be more prevalent.

No garage cans is one of the many reasons we bought a house in the Villages. We have garage cans in our Keys home. Most of the vacation rentals leave them out on the street!

Those are probably at least 10 years old. You should see the ones up in Spanish Springs. There are some magnificent specimens up there.
Linda should paint your door lavender. I wonder if the architectural review people are more lenient or have different standards in the premium neighborhoods.
I wonder if that Owl decoration in the front yard was ARC approved.
I think it would be nice if neighbors could coordinate the same landscapers and have their yards done on the same day. ❤Gizmo. The very first house we looked at was up north and it had two giant live oaks with Spanish moss. I like that many of these houses have a full driveway going up to the third car garage.

We are in process of scheduling our lifestyle visit. Can you again share how you decided to leave the country for the Villages. That’s where we are, ready to make the leap but just a tiny bit hesitant. Maybe the visit will do it!
